Is there a way to re-install TextEdit?

It was in the Application folder yesterday. I don't know how it's possible that I would have deleted it, but it's gone. Is there a way to install it from the Install disk without overwriting my system software?

How can I contact Viber support? When I go to their website there's no such thing as 'email us' or 'contact us'.

Restting the iPad may reset the Newsstand app as well. One other thing that you can try is to quit Newsstand, restart the iPad and see if that helps.
To quit Newsstand - Go to the home screen first by tapping the home button. Quit the app by double tapping the home button and the task bar will appear with all of you recent/open apps displayed at the bottom. Tap and hold down on the Newsstand app icon until it begins to wiggle. Tap the minus (-) sign in the upper left corner to close the app. Restart the iPad. Restart the iPad by holding down on the sleep button until the red slider appears and then slide to shut off. To power up hold the sleep button until the Apple logo appears and let go of the button.
BTW .... When you download an app again via the Purchased Tab from the App Store, you are downloading from the cloud. That is one of the features of iCloud. Your app purchases are stored "in the cloud" and downloaded from there. There is no need to sync with your computer.

If you previously had iWork '09, those apps are still in your Applications folder in a folder named iWork '09 unless you deliberately deleted them.
If you did delete them & have a Time Machine backup that includes your Applications folder you can restore them from there. In the past the iWork apps have not worked well when copied from another drive, but some users have reported that this works for them, especially if the apps were originally purchased from the Mac App Store. If you originally installed them from the retail disk, find the disk & reinstall them & then update to iWork 9.3.

Install a proxy server on the centos machine and configure your local Firefox to connect through that proxy.
If you really want to run Firefox on the centos machine, install a VNC server instead.
(Obviously, use Google if you don't know what that means ;)

Welcome to the Apple Support Communities!
I understand that you are not able to locate the Messages application on your daughters iPod touch (4th generation). The good news is that this application cannot be deleted or restricted. The first suggestion I have is to try and search for Messages using Spotlight to search the iPod touch for this application. If Messages is located in Spotlight, then it has probably been moved to a different page of applications or even possibly a folder of applications on the device. Searching all pages will help you locate it.

It cannot be installed. It comes pre-installed on every iPhone 4S and later. Maybe it was disabled under Settings > General > Restrictions.

iOS 6 only added support for the 3rd generation iPad. It was always on the iPhone 4S. Then the same goes for your boss: Maybe disabled in restrictions, or maybe actually an iPhone 4.

Hi Thanks a ton.. so I downloaded Sb from Cs5 download options
and it won't take the serial number, from the box. I bought Cs5
in 2010 in the box from adobe. It lists Sb5 on the back
of the box, and it's in line, and works fine.. paid about 1000 dollars
for the software. But, the downloaded exe file will not accept the
serial number. The same serial number in my account for Cs5
production premium suite. I guess the new cloud community doesn't
respond well to BOX installers or previous customers. Thanks a lot for
your effort but, at 40$ a phone call, I'll suffer through without the default
analog delay option.. everything else runs smooth so.. have a nice
day up there in the cloud.

I restored the phone to the factory default and then restored my most recent backup, hoping the keyboard would not be deleted during the process, but it was. THey have bought out an update Ios 8.2 perhaps u could try that it may help u unfortunately u cannot go back to Ios 7.1.2 apple wont allow u to i guess hindsight is a good thing u can learn from this and dont be in too much of a hurry to update in the future sit back and wait too see if there are any problems before u update i work on the principle if aint broke then dont touch it...sorry there much u can do other than vent your suggestions to apple support..

I'm afraid there's no way to change the S40 (Series 40) OS to S60. In other words, if you need/want to run S60/Symbian apps, then you need to switch to an S60/Symbian based phone, instead.
