I have to do an assignment and it require me to insert a video of youtube onto a powerpoint presentation. I was unsure of what programs to use for this so i thought that there might be away to film my computer while i watch the yourtube video. If there is another way to do this, anything is appreciated i need help.

HT201471 Is there another way to see what model iPad I have without prying it out of the case?

it seem to get an answer to my question, I must know the model of my iPad. My iPad is encased in a protective unit that Sampson couldn't break and one that I can't figure out how to remove. - and the Apple (so called) "support" site only gives pretty pictures for me to compare to my iPad. And I'm supposed to conduct this comparison of pictures on the screen to the back of my iPad (that needs to be turned upside down!!!). And just how am I supposed to see the screen with the iPad turned over?!? WAY TO GO, APPLE! Surely there is a better way to find the model Information!   If one looks in Settings, one finds Everything about the iPad -Except the model! Aargh! Does Anyone know of a better way to discover the iPad model?

   i updated my iPad and three things happened; a blank gray panel now covers 1/3 of my iPad screen in the landscape view; I lost all my site Bookmarks and everything on my Reading List! So,

You would have to import them to iPhoto, iPhoto cannot work with images that are not in its library.
You might try some of the other viewers out there.

I hate that with ios 7 my bookmarks show up on the safari home screen. Is there a way to remove the icons from the screen without deleting my bookmarks completely?

I have recently updated to ios 7. On my safari home screen there are my favorites listed. I absolutely hate it. On your safaris home screen is a square icons consisting of your favorites and the IOS 7 favorites ( Disney,Apple,Yahoo,Etc) and I knew I wouldn't use these so I wanted to learn how to delete them. So, after messing around a few times with them, I realized how easy it was to delete them. All you have to do is go to the top right corner of your homepage and click on the book icon (found left of the cloud icon). Once you click on it, your history for safaris searches should come up. On the top left corner above your history should be " <Bookmarks " written in blue. Click on that and a list consisting of these should come up ( top to bottom of list ) FAVORITES / HISTORY / GOOGLE /BING / IPAD USER GUIDE. Click on FAVORITES. Your list on the favorites on your home screen should come up. Simply slide over the item to your left (EX.. Yahoo) and a DELETE button in red should come up. Click delete and your done, the icons should disappear on your home screen. Only bad is that you have to delete them from your favorites too.

Is there a way to know what report is being processed ?

In XI R2 / Webi Report Server, or XI 3.x / Webi Processing Server, is there a way to know what object is being processed ?
For example currently, I can see thru system tool like "Process Explorer" that "wireportserver.exe" has been using a lot of CPU and increasing memory for several minutes. I feel that a report is too large or complicated, but which one ?
In audit database, I can only see events like "document read", but no "begin of refresh process".
So, do I have to wait for the process to be finished to find a "document refreshed" and know what was going on ?
Moreover, at least in R2, if user cancels his refresh request (by closing his browser for example), of if request takes too much time and reaches timeout, no audit event corresponding to this refresh request will ever be recorded. In this case, I have no information at all about what report was making the report server taking so much CPU and RAM. It has just a "read" event, but so have a lot of other reports having been read during the same period of time.
Ideally, I would just have to select the latest "begin of refresh" events without "end of refresh" to know which report are currently being processed. But unfortunately the first one doesn't exist.
Has anyone an idea to get this information anyway ?

I was aware of this instance manager in 3.x.
In R2, I was also able to do the same with a request thru the query manager.
Unfortunately in both versions , I haven't found yet how to find informations on report being refreshed by users directly, and not by job server.
I anyone has an idea...
In R2 I have tested the -trace option of report server : it generates a big amount of lines in trace files, but that seem completely useless : no information on what report is being processed..
I don't understant why this information is so complicated to get. It could be so helpfull...

Is there a way to record just the arpeggios and not the notes being played?

I am recording the Arpeggios from my Motif rack ES into Logic Pro 7.2 in midi format but when I try to do this, the notes that I play on the keyboard also get recorded along with the arpeggios? Is there a way to record just what's coming out of the midi out (of motif rack es) and not the keys that you are pressing to kick off the arpeggio?

Either check your Motif's owners manual to see if you can disable the keys or make sure the keys are out of the arpeggio's range and use a transform object in the environment to filter out the unwanted notes.

Is There a Way To Show What I've Listened To Recently?

Is there a way to see what I've listened to say in the lat week? I can go to Controls and see recent, I can change my views and see (and sort) when songs were "last played" and I can see the top 25 songs in all history played from my library.
What I'd like to see is what I played in the last week -- what songs I listened to once and which I played over and over. Like the "Top 25 Most Played" but rather "Top 25 Most Played This Week."
Any suggestions?

So-called IMAP email accounts have synchronization in both directions, meaning that if you open an email on one device, it will show open on all other devices as well. By contrast, so-called POP email accounts do not have this two-way sync and result in the results you are seeing, e.g., emails on multiple devices but only showing opened on one device at a time.

Is there a way to tell what is actually being passed to DB from PreparedStatement? What I mean by that is that I have a PreparedStatement that is a simple

I precompile this, and later, when there is a connection I call set all the variables
prepstmt.setInt(1, someint); prepstmt.setString(2, "\\'" + somestring + "\\'"); etc... prepstmt.executeUpdate();
I get back an exception thrown by Oracle complaining that one of my values is too large for the column (but doesn't say what column/value).
So I made a string that contains what ought to be the same query
String debug = "Insert into table (col1, col2, col3, .... colx) values (someint,'somestring',etc....someotherint)"; System.out.println(debug);
I give the printed out line directly to Oracle through SQLScratchpad and it works just fine in there and I can confirm the row has been inserted. Nothing is too big.

Hrm, I'm suspecting that perhaps it has to do something with setting CHAR fields. Some of the fields in this table are CHAR but I don't see a call in my PreparedStatement that can set a char, only a String, so that's what I've been using, but it may be that that's not the right thing to do. I'm running Java 1.5.10, and looking through the API there doesn't seem to be anything specifically for char.

I know about closing apps open in the HUB, but is there a way to see what processes or programs are running on a Q10? I am watching one of our phones drain slowly just from sitting. Only thing running is our phone network. Maybe its syncing too often with our server? I am not sure how to see that to check. Other than that, the phone is passive. Any suggestions?

I inadvertently deleted 6 folders from picasa which also deleted them from my Mac. i have so many items in my trash that I do not know which they were....is there any way to track what items I placed in my trash only on today's date? since I have no clue what they were specifically.

By the way, the items are not deleted until you empty the trash - which you should do occasionally because they all take up room on your hard drive. I don't know of a way to do exactly what you want - you can try looking at your trash in column view and it will show you the last time you modified or opened a file - that might give you an idea.
