Is there a way to recover a picture
My daughter just got an Iphone 4S. She took pictures this evening. Tried to sync her apps from her Ipod to her phone and seemed to loose everything. Then she tried a recovery, but everything is still gone. Pictures, contacts, etc. Please help me recover her pictures.
What do you mean by "she tried a recovery"?

Is there a way to recover deleted pictures taken with my iPhone and deleted from PhotoStream
is there a way to recover deleted pictures taken with my iPhone and deleted from PhotoStream on the same iPhone?
Here's general advice:
You should be importing all pics taken with the iphone to your computer regularly as you would with any digital camera.
iOS: Importing personal photos and videos from iOS devices to your computer -

My iPad is now like it has been wiped clean - none of my photos, contacts, etc. are coming up - Is there a way to recover this?
Then I'm sorry. If your iPad is wiped clean and you have no backup, there is nothing to help you.......Of course you can redownload your apps, even paid for ones, as long you use the same Apple ID you purchased them with. As for pics, music, etc., you can sync them back to your iPad via iTunes and your computer. You can set up your mailboxes again, but there's no magic bullet to get your iPad back easily. Let this be a lesson and once you've got your iPad set up again, BACK IT UP.

Is there a way to recover my pictures on Iphoto?
I went to look at my pictures on I photo and they were all gone. Is there an old backup ?
Only know that - do you make regular backups?
FOr more hlep details are necessary - version of iPhoto? Of the OS? that has recently changed? Error messages? what "all gone" means?

Is there a way to recover pictures that were deleted on the i Pad 2 ??
Is there a way to recover pictures that were deleted on the i Pad 2 ?
Only if you have a copy of them e.g. if they were on your iPad when you last backed then you can try restoring to that backup. But unlike on a computer there is no trashcan or recycle bin on an iPad, once they are deleted from an iPad then they are gone from it.

I have downloaded an update for my ipod 4th, and after that all my songs, pictures and apps have been erased, Is there some way to recover all my information without have done a security copy?
I supsect you did the update on other than your syncing computer. If yu did the app, music and synced photo will not be on the iPod after the update since those items are not in the backup that iTunes makes. See:
iOS 5: Updating your device to iOS 5
The above applies to all updates performedvia USB on a computer. To get stuff back, restore from backup on the syncing computer.
The above in my educated guess since you provided litle information about how you did the update.
You can redownload many iTunes purchases by:
Downloading past purchases from the App Store, iBookstore, and iTunes Store -
Hello,
I went vacation and in the middle of this, in the hotel pc, i put my pictures on the ipad in order to empty my camera card. When I came back I`ve put the Ipad to sync with my home pc and the ipad deleted all the pictures. Is there a way to recover it? Before the delete process the Ipad made a backup with itunes, but I can`t find these pictures anywhere. Please help, this is really important to me.Photos in the Camera Roll are not included with the iTunes sync process except for being included with your iPad's backup which is updated by iTunes as the first step during the iTunes sync process. The Camera Roll is not touched and can't be deleted with the iTunes sync process.
One way photos in the Camera Roll can be removed is by importing the photos with your computer as with any other digital camera followed by deleting the photos from the Camera Roll after the import process is complete, but then the photos would be available on your computer. iTunes does not handle the import of photos from any digital camera including from the iPad's Camera Roll.
Another way is by restoring the iPad with iTunes as a new iPad or not from the iPad's backup.
Another way is by transferring the backup from another iPad to a new iPad the first time a new iPad is connected to iTunes on the computer used for syncing with another iPad.
None of the ways to remove photos from the Camera Roll involve syncing with iTunes only. -
My daughter just synched her new iphone with her itunes account and it wiped out her contacts and pictures. Is there any way to recover them?
Sorry, unless she backup up the new phone before or is using iCloud to save the photos, the photos are gone.

Re: camera connection kit- I uploaded pictures using the sandisk connection, clicked on 10 pics to delete and ALL of my files were deleted from the sandisk! Is there any way to recover these pics?
Kevin-
You say you uploaded the pictures to the iPad? Then they should still be there, and you can copy them to your computer through iTunes.
There are utility programs for a computer that can recover deleted files from hard drives, and they may work for camera memory cards as well. I've used DiskWarrior for Macintosh to recover pictures from an SD card before.

Only an exclamation point shows up when I click a thumbnail in my iphoto folder. Is there any way to recover these photos by using the thumbnails? Please help. Thanks!
That exclamation mark is displayed when iPhoto cannot link to the original file. First make sure you are running a "managed" library by checking iPhoto's Advanced preference pane to make sure the checkbox to copy files into the library during import is checked.
If it is checked you can try the following: make a temporary, duplicate copy of the library and apply the two fixes below in order as needed:
Fix #1
Launch iPhoto with the Command+Option keys held down and rebuild the library.
Select the options identified in the screenshot.
Fix #2
Using iPhoto Library Manager to Rebuild Your iPhoto Library
Download iPhoto Library Manager and launch.
Click on the Add Library button, navigate to your Home/Pictures folder and select your iPhoto Library folder.
Now that the library is listed in the left hand pane of iPLM, click on your library and go to the File ➙ Rebuild Library menu option
In the next window name the new library and select the location you want it to be placed.
Click on the Create button.
Note: This creates a new library based on the LIbraryData.xml file in the library and will recover Events, Albums, keywords, titles and comments but not books, calendars or slideshows. The original library will be left untouched for further attempts at fixing the problem or in case the rebuilt library is not satisfactory.

Is there any way to recover a .tif I was just working with?
The Facts
System: PC
Program: Photoshop CS5
Version: 12.0.4
The Situation
I am working with a .tif file (1000 cm x 1000 cm at 72 dpi). I have been copying and pasting images from other .tif files into it in order to see all images at once, so I can then move them around and try to fit certain images together. I have been saving it as a .tif with no compression over the last few days. The file is now 2.61 GB with 119 images.
The Problem
Before going to lunch, I saved it as I always do and left. When I returned, Photoshop told me it could not open because it did not recognize the file type.
My Questions
1. Is there any way to recover my file?
2. It is imperative that the files I am adding to this .tif remain their actual size. That said, what is the best image compression option that I should use?
The File
Microsoft OneDrive - Access files anywhere. Create docs with free Office Online.I do not know if your file can be recovered. But I may be able help you to recreate it with ease. If you will settle for a composite where all image are re-sized for a particular tile size and virtually cropped to its aspect ratio. However all source image need be gathered into a folder to use my script process. Paste Image Roll Script and Picture Package Support Link http://www.mouseprints.net/old/dpr/PasteImageRoll.jsx

The Lion upgrade does not touch iPhoto. However, you may need to purchase an iPhoto upgrade.
Look in your /Home/Pictures/ folder for the iPhoto Library file. -
