Is there a way to recover my purchased music?
my external HD died recently, is there a way to recover my purchased music from Itunes. There should be a history of my purchases.

Purchase an external hard drive and use the backup software that comes with it to backup files from your computer.
Buy TouchCopy and install it on your new computer, connect your old iPod and transfer your songs to your computer. -
I've recently lost lots of data and purchases due to Iphone 4 crashing... Surely there is a way to recover "lost" music, apps, and audiobooks which I PURCHASED from ITunes in the last 1.5 months...? Greatly appreciate any suggestions or direction in this matter!

My macbook pro's hard drive had to be completely replaced and none of my data could be recovered. Is there any way that is 100% sure to not erase all the music off my ipod touch and get all of it (purchased and not purchased) back onto my computer without any software?

The iPod doesn't actually support that. But good news: With the latest version of iTunes, you can re-download all your purchased music for free. Just open the iTunes store and click on Purchased on the right hand side.
As for the rest, a quick Google search shows there is no Apple supported solution. -
Is there a way to transfer already purchased music from bearshare to itunes
My dad wants to buy an iPod, but has already purchased a lot of music from Bearshare. Is there a way for him to transfer that music to iTunes? Or will he have to re-purchase that same music from iTunes?
Thanks!I would have to say that is not completely true. I have had music already riped to Microsoft Media and instead of doing it over again and saving to iTunes, I just copied the file through iTunes and saved. You have to click yes on save in different format but it does work. I will have to agree that the sound quality is lacking. I think possibly from the format change alone. Sometimes iTunes can't seem to get their built-in equalizer working properly. Hope it helps.

Is there a way to download all my purchased music onto a different computer I authorize? my last computer bit the dust and i was unable to deauthorize it and I would like to download the music I bought on to the computer I am able to use. Also, is there a way to link accounts, I have 2 itunes user names and would like to link them.

Computer Crashed... Is there a way to get back purchased music?

does anyone know if it is possible to get music that was purchased thought the itunes store back without having to pay for it again. My hard drive got destroyed. What do you mean it just won't let you?
When you hook you phone up to your computer and click on the Device, and then Click on the Music tab, do you have the new music you want sync'd checked to sync?

Was your backuip copy of your computer stolen as well?
If not, then use it to put everything back.
If it was stolen as well, then you can try contacting itunes support and asking for and exception to the one download. They are under no obligation to allow this, but it is worth a shot.

The hard drive on our computer died and we lost all of our purchases in the account. Is there a way to recover the songs we have paid for? If we plug in our iPod to a new account, won't it erase everything during the synch process? Help!
If for some reason you have failed to maintain a backup copy of your computer ( not good), then transfer purchases form your ipod.

You buy one and only one download, just as you buy one copy of a cd from a store. It is your responsibility to backup/move/copy your music.
It has always been very basic to always maintain a backup copy of your computer. Use this to put everything back. -

Go to the iTunes Store, log into your account, and click the Purchases link under the Quick Links. From there you should be able to re-download some or all of your purchased content. Note that not all content has been licensed for re-downloading in all countries at this time; you can see what content you can download here:

Then I'm sorry. If your iPad is wiped clean and you have no backup, there is nothing to help you.......Of course you can redownload your apps, even paid for ones, as long you use the same Apple ID you purchased them with. As for pics, music, etc., you can sync them back to your iPad via iTunes and your computer. You can set up your mailboxes again, but there's no magic bullet to get your iPad back easily. Let this be a lesson and once you've got your iPad set up again, BACK IT UP.
