Is there a way to recover your files that are gone if you purchased them?
lost all music from iphone and computer, is there a way to recover it? I went to purchase something and itunes store still acknowledges that I purchased it, is there a way to re-download it?
You buy one and only one download, just as you buy one copy of a cd from a store. It is your responsibility to backup/move/copy your music.
It has always been very basic to always maintain a backup copy of your computer. Use this to put everything back.

Is there a way to recover your files from a computer that won't work anymore?
if my computer stops working, is there a way to recover the files?
I've been in the same situation once.
Here's what I did:
Went to Staples and bought an external hard drive enclosure.
Took the hard drive out of the dead computer then installed it in the enclosure.
From there I hooked it up to a working computer via usb port then copied the files that I needed from it.
Assuming that your hard drive is not dead/toasted, then you can recover the data you need through this procedure.
Hope that helps. -
Is there a way to recover a file that was sent to trash
I moved some files and then sent some files to trash, appently i sent to trash valuable to files. I went into time machine, and apparently my files have grown too large for my 3 terabit back up drive, and when i went in there was only one back up. it is dated at a period after i sent a file to trash but before i cleaned out the trash.
I have been told that time machine does not back up trash so that is a dead end.
My next thought was to consider looking at the file from where i the trashed files lived before i sent them to Trash. In my PC prior life there was an undelete function, i have been told by Apple support there is no similar function.
Any ideas how i can recover 2,000 photos that i have been working on?If the files are in the Trash the locate them in Trash and right click them and select Put Back. If you haven't been backing up and you really did lose them then you are able to learn why backing up is vital. Time Machine does not backup the Trash however you can easily use Time Machine to navigate to where the files where prior to being trashed and restore them. If you have Time Machine do that.
BTW you may also benefit from using redundant backup. Many of us on these forums will use a redundant system. For example I use both Time Machine and on another external HD I create a bootable clone using SuperDuper. This is valuable because backups can fail too and Time Machine isn't bootable. I have been working on a piece of art for the last month and all of a sudden when I went to open it this evening the app was unable to open the file. Please Help!
Not good as that usually means the project itself was corrupt.
Any chance you sync'd to Creative Cloud? That's the only way I know of that backs up your PS Touch (PSDX) files. -
Is there a way to recover my files after resetting my computer?
I had forgotten my password, so I did the reset with the original software CD, and I did not realize it would wipe away all my files. I am wondering if anyone knows of a way to recover my files that were on my hard drive?
Welcome to Apple Support Communities
Did you erase the hard drive? If not, your data should still be in your hard drive.
If you erased the hard drive, it's difficult to recover your files. An application like DiskWarrior may do the trick but it sometimes doesn't work. The best option is to take the hard drive to a company that recovers files, so there are more possibilities of getting the files recovered.
Also, make backups of your files. It's important to make them in order to prevent these cases -
I put my ibook author file in the trash and then accidentally emptied my trash. Is there a way to recover the file? Does iBooks Author have a backup?
if you use time machine, you should be able to get it back that way. Although IBA saves changes on an ongoing basis, it doesn't create a back up or supplemental copy elsewhere on your drive.

Is there a way to recover a file from deleted trash files
Once the trash is emptied only professional $$$ Applications will perform this feat and only if the filespace hasn't been overwritten yet.

Is there a way to recover deleted files from months ago?
Is there a way to recover deleted files from months ago?
Extremely unlikely, as they will have been over-written several times.
Possibly a professional data rescue firm can try, but that will cost you a four-figure sum. -

Is there a way to combine multiple files that were scanned individually into one?*
Is there a way to combine multiple files that were scanned individually into one?*
Assuming the scans are all PDFs, here is one easy way:
Open the first PDF in Preview.
Duplicate (File > Duplicate) if you want to preserve the original.
Choose View > Contact Sheet.
Drag and drop the other files from the Finder into the Contact Sheet window. You can select the files one at a time or multiple files at once.
Arrange the contact sheet icons in the desired order.
Save. -
Step 4: I did this to backup the music already on my computer, but it didn't work. Is there any way to recover it now that I have copied my new music?
A better way is to select the photos in iPhoto and export to a desk top folder, right click on it and burn to disk

Is there a way to back your phone up to iCloud if you cannot access your device? My screen is completely shot and will not me let unlock my phone to access anything!
If you think your phone is working even though the screen is broken, you might try backing it up to iTunes on your computer.
If you can't do this you could take it to an Apple store and see if they can back it up for you. -
