Is there a way to remove an app from the list of previously installed app?
The list that comes up when you click on the Purchased icon when updating apps.
The list is becoming quite large after I installed and tried out a few apps.

Let me explain:
In the clock app for ios 6.0.2 I am a little confused. It allows you to go into your music library, and create a ringtone using any songs you choose. However, I cannot find a way to remove a song from this list, just like I cannot delete one of the preset ringtones (which I'm not trying to do, but just as an example)

I believe you just are able to delete them from iTunes.

You may certainly remove all profile data by leaving those settings as "blank" or "not specified." I find the easiest way to do this is to open the profile settings from within the Skype "client" software.
Removing/deleting an account name from the Skype search directory closes the account. More details about this can be found here: 'Can I delete my Skype account?'

i moved a bunch of file that was on two external drives to a larger single external... is there a way to get rid of the backups from the two original externals and free up some space on backup drive?

Enter Time Machine, navigate to the files you want to delete, select them, click the gear button, and then click "Remove all backups of...".

I have a 2 minute clip. My subject is sitting in front of a poster. Is there a way to mask one line of text on the poster throughout the clip?

A third-party plugin would have done it, but alas, iMovie 08 does not support plug-ins.
There are several workarounds.
1. See if you can use an underscore character in a title
2. Zoom in and crop out the line from out of sight
3. Find someone with Final Cut to blur it out.
Since I cannot see a frame of the film, it is hard to see just what has to be blurred out.

Arrow in bottom left allows you to multi select. After you choose your photos, you can hit the delete button that appears in the bottom right hand corner. Or, you can hit the cancel button in the rop right and not delete them

Yes, if you have iCloud set up on your phone and computer, then reminders will be synced through iCal.

Thanks but have tried that - When I try to restore I get a -50 error and into a loop of taking another back up. I took a copy of the back up before the IOS upgrade and have it stored on my desk top but I cannot get Itunes to restore to that back up
