I want to reset my entire macbook, to clean everything up and start new. Is there any way I can do this ?

Boot from the Snow Leopard Installer Disc One that came with the computer. After the installer loads select your language and click on the Continue button. When the menu bar appears select Disk Utility from the Utilities menu. After DU loads select the startup volume from the left side list then click on the Erase tab. Set the format type to Mac OS Extended (Journaled) then click on the Options button. Select the one pass Zero Data option and click on the OK button. Then click on the Erase button.
Note: You can skip the Zero Data option if you are not concerned about removing sensitive personal data from the hard drive. If you choose to skip this part of the process then it is possible for others to recover data from the hard drive. The Zero Data procedure will prevent others from getting access to your personal information.
This process will take 30 minutes to several hours depending upon the size of the hard drive. After formatting has completed quit DU and return to the installer. Now complete the OS X installation.

If you have a rescue email address set up on your account then you can try going to https://appleid.apple.com/ and click 'Manage your Apple ID' on the right-hand side of that page and log into your account. Then click on 'Password and Security' on the left-hand side of that page and on the right-hand side you might see an option to send security question reset info to your rescue email address.
If you don't have a rescue email address set up then go to Express Lane and select 'iTunes' from the list of 'products' in the middle of the screen.
Then select 'iTunes Store', and on the next screen select 'Account Management'
Next choose 'iTunes Store Account Security' and fill in that you'd like your security questions/answers reset.
You should get an email reply within, I think, about 24 to 48 hours (and check your Spam folder as well as your Inbox)

You can restore the zoom feature by changing the values of the related prefs on the about:config page.

To open the about:config page, type about:config in the location (address) bar and press the "Enter" key, just like you type the url of a website to open a website. 
If you see a warning then you can confirm that you want to access that page.

I have used the Disk Utility to rparir files and rest Safari. I have deleated Firefox then downloaded a fresh version, still the same error messages ! Please help it's driving me nutts.

You do not need any "Cleaner" app for Macs. I would not be at all surprised if that didn't actually damage your Mac, especially if it were MacDefender. Applejack is OK, but I'm not sure what it erased. Do you know?
You also don't need any Virus Barrier. That could also mess things up.
The fact that all of your browsers are now messed up indicates that it is not a Safari problem, but more system-wide.

Basic troubleshooting from the User's Guide is reset, restart, restore (first from backup then as new). Try each of these steps in order until the issue is resolved.

Whenever the development servers are refreshed with production data, it's required to reset the passwords for the all the entries. The only simpler way I know is to export to ldif, use sed or another editor and re-import the ldif file.
Probably faster as well, depending on the number of entries.

Is there ANY way to reset this phone if the screen...

My phone completely froze about a week ago. I tried several 2 and 3 key soft reboots but nothing. Waited two days for phone battery to die so I could recharge and try again.... still nothing. So decided that I would try the hard reboot but.... the first step says to switch off the phone (after making sure the damn thing is charged over 50%) but I can't "slide to power off" cuz the screen does not resond to touch. I do not want to wait another 2 or 3 days for the damn battery to die again. I have already been without my phone all week. I do the volume down + power button to switch off the phone, but everytime I do, it vibrates and turns itself back on immediately! Is there ANYTHING I can do???

The preferences files generated by the Preferences API are namedcom.apple.java.util.prefs. The user’s preferences file is stored in their home directory (~/Library/Preferences/). Dropbox is a "cloud" application that allows you to share files or folders of files with others.
Adobe Reader is a "reader" application that lets you view a PDF file.
Why are you trying to stop people from viewing a PDF in Reader? What's your workflow?
