Is there a way to restore my itunes account since I had to get a new harddrive for the computer?

I had to get a new hard drive for the computer and could not transfer the itunes library. Is there a way to restore old library or upload the songs from the ipod nano?

You could use your external backup of your computer, but I'm guessing you do not have one, which is leading to my second guess, you have a PC and not a Mac.
You can use this: http://www.yamipod.com/main/modules/home/

I need to know if i just downloaded itunes to my new computer and synced it with my ipod touch if all me songs would transfer over?

No, they won't transfer over, however, there are third party PC/Mac programs which will transfer the content of your iPod to your computer. Just do a Google search on this topic and you will find them (e.g. senuti)

    Hi JkeeneSoldano,
Thank you for visiting Apple Support Communities.
To regain access to your Apple ID, try to reset your password using one of these methods:
Answer your security questions. Use these steps if you know the answers to your security questions.
Use email authentication. We'll send you an email that you can use to change your password.
Use two-step verification. If you set up two-step verification, you can use it to change your password. You just need your recovery key and a trusted device.

If you need to use the email verification method but don't receive the reset email, see this link for more help:

  • Is there a way to combine two iTunes account?

I would like to combine my iTunes account with my husbands account. Is there a way to do this?

It's not currently possible to combine iTunes accounts or to transfer content from one account to another account. You should be able to have both accounts authorised on the computer's iTunes that you sync to (via the Store > Authorise This Computer menu option) - but the apps will remain tied to the account that originally bought/downloaded it, so only that account will be able to download updates to those apps.
Also note that using iTunes match, using automatic downloads or re-downloading past purchases will risk tying that computer (or device) to that account for 90 days : http://support.apple.com/kb/HT4627

Is there a way to combine two seperate itunes accounts into one?  My husband and I both have itunes accounts and we want to combine into one.  Is this possible yet?  How do I do this?  Thanks!

  • Is there any way to find my itunes music if I never saved them to a cloud and my computer was stolen?

I am trying to put my already purchased music from ITunes on my new shuffle. Is there a way to do this if I have never saved my music to the cloud? My computer that it was originally purchased on was stolen.
    Please advise.
    Thanks!

Hm, good suggestion, but I've actually already done this (and I've had a friend go through the steps with me). There is just NOTHING that is showing up under any of the categories in the cloud for downloading. The thing is, I'm just not sure if I enabled cloud-sharing or not on my iphone (although I know I've backed up my data through cloud on my iphone at some point).
    Any other suggestions?

  • HT1918 Is there a way to merge multiple itunes accounts? My original itunes account (for my 1st gen ipod touch) has all of my purchases but it is not compatible with the icloud account.

I had an ipod before the icloud was introduced.  All of my apps and music were purchased using this account.  In order to use icloud services, a me.com had to be created.  My purchases and apps are in the original account and my email, contacts, calendar and notes are in the new account.  Is there a way to merge them?

    You cannot merge accounts.

  • Is there a way to share an iTunes account with 2 users?

I just sold my computer with my iTunes stuff on it (kept a backup on an external HD). My son and I share a Macbook that has his iTunes stuff on the internal HD. Until I get a new computer and re-load my iTunes library to it, can I create a separate account full of my stuff and vwhen I sync, I get my stuff and not his?
    Thanks.

Just a word of caution: I have experimented recently with having 2 iTunes accounts on my MacBook Pro, in order to see if I could make a separate library with only lossless files. I encountered the following problems:
    1) When I changed the library name for one library both were changed
    2) When I changed the media location in one library both were changed.
I don't know if I did something wrong, but I would proceed carefully, and test the solution before putting it to use.

  • HT3819 is there any way to combine two itunes accounts

I need help combining my mothers itunes account with mine on my new computer. I would like to just use hers instead of having two seperate accounts.

It is not possible to combine Apple ID's.
It is possible to add media from multiple Apple IDs to a single iTunes library.

  • I bought my kids an itouch...however, it snyced to my account.  Is there a way to create a separate account from them and remove all of my information from the touch?

if i give my itouch to my son, how can i start from scratch with none of my info on it?  Additionally, i would like for him to have his own account but he isn't  old enoughby apple's rules, is there a way for him to have a sub account from mine?

Hopefully you moved the entire iTunes Media (or iTunes Music) folder to a new path on your external drive. Copy your iTunes library folder out to the root of the external drive, e.g. X:\iTunes (where X: is your external drive), then move the media folder inside it. Hold down shift as you start iTUnes and keep holding untila asked to choose or create a library. Choose the library at X:\iTunes\iTunes Library.itl. Should all be good.
Failing that, download and run my FindTracks script and point it at the new location of your media folder.

  • Is there a way to import a Motion template in FCPX, IF you DON'T have Motion on the computer.

I am working with another editor that has FCPX, but not Motion. I created some lower 3rd templates in Motion that I would like him to use. Is there any way to import motion5 templates in to FCPX if the user does not have the Motion application?

The titles you made in Motion are located in your movies folder. the path is ~/user/movies/Motion Templates/Titles. Your other editor needs to create that file path in his machine and then drop your titles in the Titles folder and FCPX will see them. ie He needs to create a Motion Templates folder and a Titles folder inside of it and then drop in your title folders. Make sure the folders are correctly named and I believe they are case sensitive. Just duplicate what you see in your movies folder.

  • I need to set up a new iTunes account. How can I get all my music from the old account on to the new one??? Thanks../

I have just bought an ipad 2 and wish to set up a new account as now I won't have to share with my sister. I want to get all the music off my current iTunes account & put it on to the ipad/new iTunes account. I'm not too sure how to do this though.... Please help lol :-) x

If you mean iTunes libraries or computer user accounts, just create one. To make a new iTunes library on Windows, launch iTunes with the Shift key held down and choose Create Library.
If you mean iTunes Store accounts, click here and request assistance.
