Is there a way to revert your Droid back to the previous version of the Android OS?

Since updating my OS recently, my phone will "seize" periodically requiring that power off the handset to regain control.  My phone did not experience this issue with the "phone" system prior to this update.

there is a way but it would void your warranty.

Is there a way to remove your sim card if you don't have the tool that came with your phone? I wanted to see if I could upload my old information to the iCloud, by putting the new sim card into the old phone, since I didn't before I updated my new phone.

Any metal clip will do. Insert the tip in the little hole next to the Sim Card and press FIRMLY. The SIM drawer will pop out.

Is Aperture not launching at all? Then update Aperture like Ernie recommended. You'll need version 3.5.1, or 3.4.5 with Mavericks. If you have any Aperture 3 version, you should be able to update for free.
After updating Aperture, make sure you have a backup copy of your Aperture library, before opening it in the new version.  Click the Aperture library, to open Aperture on your library.
Or, is the problem, that Aperture opened on an empty library? Then check the file system on the drive with your Aperture library. It may have the wrong formatting. Then move your Aperture library to a drive formatted MacOS Extended (Journaled). Click the

my iphone 5 has restored to an old backup after updating to ios 7 is there any way of getting my stuff back as this has now become the most recent back up?
also since the update it keeps resetting itself? i had a lot of stuff on there that i really wanted and alot of important info lost? please help!!

You might be able to remove the recent backup from the backups folder and the old one should be usable at that point
USE EXTREAME CAUTION WHEN ACCESS THE FILES AND DO NOT DELETE ANYTHING
    Mac: ~/Library/Application Support/MobileSync/Backup/
Note: The "~" represents your Home folder. If you don't see Library in your home folder, Option-click the Go menu.
    Windows XP: \Documents and Settings\(username)\Application Data\Apple Computer\MobileSync\Backup\
Note: To quickly access the Application Data folder, click Start, and choose Run. Type %appdata% and click OK.
    Windows Vista, Windows 7, and Windows 8: \Users\(username)\AppData\Roaming\Apple Computer\MobileSync\Backup\

I updated vietmobile remote files app. this app is broken on iOS 5.1.1 I do not have a backup of the previous version of the (paid) app, how can I roll back to the previous version? Is there a repository of previous versions? Am I boned?
Seems silly to not allow a rollback from a file repository of previous app versions.

    >All apps are tied to the account that downloaded it, so to be able to sync back the previous version you would need to still have your copy of that version
I'm not sure I follow, I have not sync'd the ipad with my computer. I just saw an update in the app store and took it.
I tried to del and install the app from the purchased tab in the app store, that reinstalled v2.1 of the app. This also fails to launch.
I have made two service requests to the developer, no response at this time.
Is there somewhere I can download and install Remote Files version 2 file? I can only find the new version 2.1 in the app store.

  • Is there a way to revert to the previous version of the podcast app?

I really hate the new podcast app version 1.2.1. There has to be a way to revert to the previous version. Don't know why Apple doesn't offer it's users the option of staying with the version that we prefer. We're asked to update without knowing if we'll like the new version. No trial period - just take a chance. I did, and I regret it. I will never click on an update again. I went from loving Apple to hating them overnight.
There must be a work-around somewhere. Please help if you can.

Thanks for the response. Not sure if it's backed up, and not sure how to locate if it is. I downloaded the update directly onto ipod touch - and when I re-synched apps from itunes library to try to install previous ver.  it changed to the new podcast ver. 1.2.1. Several moths ago I reverted to an older v. of itunes library(10.0?) through a folder called "previous itunes libraries" in my itunes folder - but I don't remember what I did - someone instructed me. Any chance of that containing older podcast v?
Unfortunately I'm not too tech savvy

  • Any idea when a plugin will be available for the google toolbar? Also, until there is a plugin available, is there a way to import bookmarks from google toolbar on previous version of firefox?

Any idea when a google toolbar plugin may be available? Until then, is there a way to import my bookmarks from google toolbar from the previous version of firefox? If not, can I go back to the previous version of firefox until the plugin is added?

It will be baked into iOS 6 when it's released this fall.

    It's called "Do Not Disturb".
3rd party apps don't have access to the functions necessary to do this.

  • Is there a way to revert my 6th generation iPod Nano to version 1.0?

I updated my iPod Nano (6th gen) to version 1.1 when it became available, what, well over a year ago so, it may be too late.
I was estatic when I received my iPod nano and used it all the time...until Apple issued software update 1.1.  Now the thing is worthless to me.  It's a pain to navigate, I cannot put the icons where I want to.  The list goes on.  It sits on my desk gathering dust.
Is there any way, after a year or more and a switch to a different computer, that I can revert this back to version 1.0?

Nevermind.  Apparently, if you have too much music on the device, the iOS doesn't function correctly.  Ran a restore and reloaded the thing with much less music and it works as it should now.

  • Is there any way to revert ilife 08 back to ilife 06???

    Hi there-
Bought the family pack of ilife 08. I installed it on my computer and my dad's computer. I personally love the newer version but my dad is less than pleased. He is just really set in his ways and isn't patient enough to learn the new version. Can I downgrade to the older version by using the install dvd for ilife 06? Fortunately I did backup his entire iphoto library folder BEFORE updating to ilife 08 so I do have a copy on an external hard drive. I just don't want to mess anything up so that my dad is even more upset with me......
    Thanks,
    amy

    Angelo
If you back up the entire iPhoto Library Folder (in v6 or earlier) or the iPhoto Library in v7, then you back up everything - Original Pics, Modified Pics, Thumbnails and - most importantly - the database that tracks all of that, plus your Albums, Slideshows books etc.
    Regards

  • Is there a way to get your money back if a downloaded app was completely misrepresented?

There's a Microsoft Word app in the market that claims to be capable of creating, saving, and changing Word documents, but is actually just a tutorial. As i was looking through the app store on my iPod, the comments did not show up and the app seemed legitimate. When I opened the app after downloading, it proved to be a series of tutorials on how to use Word. I did not need that. It is not what i was lead to believe i was buying. And it would be great to be reimbursed or at least have the makers of the app correct their comments. Just a disclaimer like "This app contains tutorial videos, not the Word processor software."

You can use Express Lane to contact the iTunes Store people and ask them for a refund.
Just choose iTunes > iTunes Store > Purchases, Billing & Redemption > Quality of purchased content.
