Is there a way to save all my screenames and passwords I have stored in firefox 2 a cd/dvd?

I have to reformat my computer. My wife and son also use this computer. Is there a way i can save or copy our screen names and passwords on to a cd/dvd or jump drive?

This is actually pretty easy. Just take a look at the Knowledge Base article [[Backing up your information]]. It will give you steps on backing up everything to a USB drive or CD.

Why are you changing your ID?
iTunes/app purchases are locked to the account that purchased them. For some actions like updating apps you have to sign into the account that purchased them. Just changing the ID does not not delete any media from the iPod.
When you delete the iCloud account for the iPod should should be offered the option to leave contacts on the iPod. See:

I get lots of mail, and most of it I don't keep, or keep over on my MacBook. Is there a way to select all the Mail messages and delete them, or do I need to go through them one at a time?

In your inbox in the phone you can mark the mails one by one and then tab delete.
In Trash you can delete all with one tab.

I need to send all my contacts to my work phone which is an android HTC EVO with sprint id like to be able to sign into my gmail account on the android and access all my iphone contacts. If that is completely impossible I would be fine with a syncing option. I have the mac noteboook if there is anyway to save iphone contacts to the computer then transfer them to my android. I have been searching the intrenet but have not found a simple way to do this. My biggest concern is that I do not have to do this all manually . If you know of any good back up apps or any advice please let me know.

There's no way to set the 'Redaction' pattern for all pages in a pdf.
You have to do it manually.

Is there a way to copy all of the saved passwords in FF ?

Whenever I update FF to a newer version I lose all of my saved passwords. I would like to use the latest version but hesitate because of password issue. copy and paste doesn't work. I really don't want to have to write down every single site login & password> I do have use Roboform but I haven't stored ALL my passwords on it.

Cannot access iCloud because I don't have the primary email and password I originally set it up with. Is there any way to remove this primary username and password without either the email address and the password?

How do I delete an old iCloud username and password. I have neither of them anymore and cannot access icloud to change settings. Set up a second username and password but icloud still won't rcognize the my birthdate and security questions answers I've answed. hope somebody else has had this problem. Thanks

If you are unable to remember your password, security questions, don’t have access to your rescue address or are unable to reset your password for whatever reason, your only option is to contact Apple ID Support, upon speaking to an operator you should explain that your problem is related to your Apple ID, this way you will not be charged for assistance, even if you don’t have an AppleCare plan.
The operator will take you through some steps you may have already tried, however they need to be sure they have exhausted all usual approaches before trying to reset your account, so you should try to be helpful and show patience with the procedure.
The operator will need to verify they are speaking to the account holder and may ask you some questions that only the account holder could know, and you will need to answer them if the process is to proceed.
Once the operator has verified your identity they will send a message through to your device which contains an alpha numeric code, which you will need to read back to them.
Once this has been completed they will send an email to your iCloud email address after a period of 24 hours, so you should check that mail is enabled in your devices iCloud settings.
Upon receipt of the email, use the reset link provided to reset your password, after which you should be able to make the adjustments to iCloud that you wish to do.

Recently, one of my hard drives crashed, taking along many months of bookmarks. Before it happens again I want to save them on a flash drive if possible. and I have had an unusual amount of crashes on firefox using xp.

Under 10.6.8, as fruhulda wrote, this feature is unavailable.
Under 10.7.x, every document which was saved at least once is closed/saved automatically when we quit the application.

Is there a way to block all video's and add's from youtube?

Hello Apple Support Communities!
I would like to watch youtube without the add's and all the other clutter around the video's. Now there is a really nice extension for Safari which can do that for you: clea.nr videos. Does a really nice job (see picture) - try it.
However the video add's which probably are the most annoying especially when they are dutch still show up despite having installed adblock. I noticed that there is no such thing as Adblockplus for safari (in chome and firefox it solves this problem). Is there a fix for this problem in safari? Or it's chosing between clea.nr video's with video add's or for chrome which I don't like.
I'm using a macbook air with 10.8.5 and safari 6.0.5.

Using http://clicktoflash.com/ or similar extensions allows viewing HTML5 video instead of Flash for most youtube pages, and here, on the few pages that I see, anyway... means that no video ads are shown before the main one.
Glimmerblocker can be set up to block the ads in Youtube/ Flash (or still could recently, when I tried it)

If you have the drive formatted FAT or exFAt then the Mac can read and write to it. But before formatting, remove the data as it's erased, and format it on the PC as it's easier. Right click on Windows and Format.

Moving your personal data via the external drive is likley the best option, there are other methods like Migration, but they are problematic and take a long time, a drive is simple, fast and direct.

Yes, if you just need to kill the running application, you can use an event structure in a parallel loop. (See attached code image). Pressing the stop button stops everything! :-)
(Alternatively, you could even call "quit labview".)
