Is there a way to search by Street Address, City and State Proximity?

I want to search by only street, city and state proximity, not Zip code/postal code and distance by. Something like this image. How can I search a web app proximity only by a person's street address?

As far as I can tell you can no longer search your devices library , only your past iTunes purchases
Works fine here.
Select your device in iTunes and search away.
I have no problem with the cloud , but I have a problem with
Taking away from the iPod function I used to have
Then you have no problem.
As a work around , ( a very timely and tiresome work around ) I simply create
A playlist with all the songs I have on my device
Actually, that is a much, much easier solution to select what you want on your iDevice.
Sycn selected playlists and select this (and other) playlists as you want.
Don't need iPhone plugged in or connected to add/remove from playlist. Change it whenever you want then simply sync yrou iphone.
You can use smart playlists to help find what is not on iPhone (Playlist is not my iPhone playlist).

Is there any way to tell which formulas a particular cell is in, reverse look-up style? That is, is there a way to search somehow for which formulas in a sheet contain a particular cell in them without opening all of them up? If not, it would be nice.
I'm fixing a Numbers document that I use in business daily that's become overly complicated, but while I want to clear/delete a number of cells in it to clean it up, I'm not sure if those cells are being used as source for other formulas on the page. I don't have to open all my formulas one by one to see if that cell is in there, do I?! That'd be a huge amount of work if I wanted to eliminate say 10 cells to search each formula on the page to see if it is in there or watch all the cells when I delete that cell to see if the numbers change! There's got to be an easier way! Right click doesn't seem to be any help.
I don't want to damage my daily tool to make it cleaner and reorganize it. Is there really no way to do a reverse look-up of which formulas a particular cell is in?! Any time I click on a formula it highlights all the CELLS in that formula. Why can't I (or can I?) do the reverse and see all the FORMULAS that contain a particular cell?
As a Numbers document ages or gets used frequently, you can sometimes forget which cells are tied to which formulas. You just look for the results of your formulas. Would be a nice thing to be able to do. Thoughts? Work-arounds? Answers?

Answer would be no unless application provided such feature. Numbers does not as far as I know.
Note that even if you have complete list of formulae used in a table, identifying formulae referencing any given cell is not simple.
E.g., cell T20 is referenced not only in
    =T20+1
    but also in
    =SUM(T)
    =SUM(20:20)
    =SUM(S19:U22)
    =OFFSET(S1,19,1,1,1)
    =INDIRECT("T"&(10*2))
In order to identify such formula, we have to actually evaluate it to see if it references the given cell. Especially such formula as OFFSET() and INDIRECT() may not be found by static parser because their parameters can be dynamic.
Sorry to be the bearer of bad tidings.

  • Is there a way to search contact list by keyboard

is there a way to search the contacts list with the keyboard rather than scrolling down via letters? i have like 2000 contacts and some letters are really long. would be much better if there was a search box (like that for SMS) where I could input letters via the keyboard.
does that exist? have i missed it?

    That feature is not available

  • Is there a way to search several keywords at a time on the top right search box?

    Hello.
Let's say I want all the images to appear that have any of these keywords:  "sky, mountain, water".  The only way I have figured out it takes too long and it's tedious.  I open the "find" window and manually add search variables to look for several keywords and file names for the values that I am looking for.
Isn't there a way to search for files that have any of the keywords I write on the search box by dividing these keywords with commas or any other puntuation? Or am I stuck opening the "find" window and add rows of variables that I want to search?

I really do hope you are part of the development team for the Bridge.
    If only…
I'm just a user like you and almost all other participants. Steve (SG) is one of the very helpful Adobe Engineers who occasionally hang around every now and then but they do so out of personal interest and kindness. They also try to be a shortcut to the Bridge engineers, it is no company policy to interact directly with developers on this user to user forum...
But if I was responsible for resources for the Bridge development team they already would have had loads of money to realize my perfect Bridge and this process would have started from CS3 and above…. but as said, I'm just a humble photographer with no knowledge at all in programming applications and by far not enough money to realize this dream app
Regarding your Find comments, I do realize there are some extra actions needed and the less you can make the better it would be. However as said, I don't know of any DAM application capable of what you want.
It is kind of looking into a database and that needs separate criteria to my knowledge. If I had to use the search function that much I would look for a dedicated Digital Asset Manager to do this tasks.
I'm not very deep in to knowledge about DAM but I use Canto Cumulus Single user for my Archive which is much faster then Bridge (Bridge is much better in other tasks so I need both).
In Canto you can create a query to customize your own search needs in a better way but this needs some extra knowledge and study, I have only 65 K of files in my archive and searching is not that difficult using the normal route of quick find.
And to comfort you a little, both Bridge and Canto do reopen the find menu with the last settings which is still not ideal but saves a bit of moves. Having the option to save templates like in batch rename would be a big plus but it is not an option yet.
And of course, you can also put in a feature request for this:

  • Is there any way to search for a term using the Firefox search field, and have the results automatically open in a new tab?

Is there any way to search for a term using the Firefox search field, and have the results automatically open in a new tab? When there was support for Google Toolbar, I was able to do this; now, whenever I want to search for something, I have to open a new tab to do it, and cut-and-paste my search into the search field in the new tab. I used to be able to highlight, drag, and drop something into the search field and have it automatically open in a new tab. This is enough for me to switch to Chrome . . .

Set a preference to have searches from the Search Bar (upper right) automatically open all searches in a new tab
#type '''about:config''' in the URL/Location/Address bar and press the Enter key
#if you see a warning, accept it (promise to be careful)
    #Filter = '''browser.search.openintab'''
#in the lower panel, double click the item (or right-click and choose "Toggle") to change the value to "true"
#close the about:config tab and test
    #See:

    About Google toolbar............
Google decided that they will no longer produce the Google Toolbar for Firefox 5 and newer version. It is best to move on to other alternatives than to try any "hacks" to the toolbar that may or may not perform in the future. Future versions of Google toolbar will only work with IE7-9. Google Toolbar is not available on any other browser, even Google's own browser.

  • Is there a way to search Numbers for UNCHECKED checkboxes?

    Hi,
I'm attempt to build a spreadsheet to track incoming payments from various sources.  I'm using checkboxes to confirm when a payment has been received.  The question is:  is there a way to search for unchecked checkboxes so that I can find instances where a payment has not been received?
Any tips or ideas would be greatly appreciated.

    Hi Wyatt,
I agree with Jerry's suggestion that entering the date of payment rather than checking a checkbox is a better means of tracking the payments.
For either entry method, you can use conditional formatting to highlight unpaid rows.
For checkboxes, use Text is FALSE for the rule.
For dates, use Text does not contain 2013.
Examples are shown for both types of payment record:

  • Is there a way to search cookies in "exceptions" as there is with "show cookies" in Preferences Privacy?

I have a problem with Firefox when trying to view an embedded YouTube video - I always get an error message. I thought I should check to see if I had cookies in the exceptions - either blocked, or allow for session - that I should delete to see if that would fix the problem.
It takes me forever to search through my "exceptions" cookies. Is there a way to search them like you can in "show cookies"? If not, it would sure be fantastic if someone could do that.
    Thank you.

You can start typing the first letters of the site's URL after you have set focus to the area with the site names with a mouse click.<br />
For the current site you can see all permissions in Tools > Page Info > Permissions<br />
This won't help for third-party cookies, but should work for the current server.
What is the default setting for cookies?<br />
Are you blocking all cookies and only allow some?

  • Is there a way to search for photographs that are missing?

I have discovered that some shots that I thought had been imported from iphoto are in fact missing (when I go to open them there is a badge with the yield sign and an exclamation point in it)
I don't think this is the end of the world as I have the original files in various places and can import them (I guess)
but is there a way to search to find all the shots that are missing?
right now I'm having to scroll through the whole database in the list format and I have a lot of shots. can't seem to figure out how to do a search for missing shots…
    m

    1. Create a smart album and in the drop down in the top right corner select file status
    2. Check mark the file status box and select 'Offline'
Now you should have all your 'Offline' (Yellow Exclamation and/or Red Slash) files.
    To reconnect..
    1. Select the missing files.
    2. Go to File and scroll to Manage Referenced Files
The dialog box will have one of the photos selected
    3. Select the drive and folder that contains the referenced file and select it
    4. Click 'Reconnect All'
This might not reconnect all of them, but the dialog box will still be open and you can reconnect the ones left.

  • Would crtl+f work or is there another way to search or quickly hyperlink to different sections on the page?

We have a very long extended data tab full of custom sections and we would like to be able to give a user a way to search the page quickly.
Would crtl+f work or is there another way to search or quickly hyperlink to different sections on the page?

I don't know enough about your use case to provide specific direction but you may be able to use the 6.1.1 UI extensibility point.  For example, you could add an anchor link collection control that scrolls the page to the top of each section when selected.

  • Is there a way to search for and install all uninstalled fonts? I'm getting bored of opening all the files up.

I've got a file of about 100 typefaces, which is 1000s of fonts. I want to install them all but I dont want to have to open each file and install them all individually (or in small groups).
So is there a way to search for and install ALL uninstalled fonts in one hit?
    Cheers.

The best solution I've come across so far is to dump all movies into a shareware app called iVI. It'll show whether each movie has subtitles or not.

  • I have a ton of cookie exceptions, and sometimes I need to change one from "blocked" to "allow". Is there a way to "search" this file?

Paging through the large set of cookie exceptions, to find the one that is causing me not to be able to access a site is getting to be impossible. For example, I want to use ESPN's fantasy football site, but at some point, I must have decided to "block" one of the many cookies that they wanted to set. Now, I cannot get into the site, and I have no luck finding the offending cookie. Is there a way to search this exceptions (or permissions) file so I can find the cookie faster?

The about:permissions was just what I was looking for! Perfect.
Thanks jshcer2000 for the prompt response.

  • Is there a way to search for audiobooks or books in different languages?

Hi well my question is very simple. My native language is Spanish but I am a German citizen and I would like to read one or the other book in Spanish or listen to audiobooks in Spanish. But if I want to search for these products in my German iTunes-Store I will only get the newest German books or German audiobooks. Is there a way to search for an audio book or a book in Spanish or other languages? Thank you very much!!!

Exactly that -- the procedure is described in the online Help: InDesign Help | Text variables
Now every time you insert the variable named "# of potatoes", you'll see the text "50" appear (with a minimal rectangular marker to indicate it's a variable), and when you want another number of potatoes, all you have to do is adjust the text in the Variables dialog.

I know if you look at any individual movie, it will say CC and below that, it will tell you if closed captioning is available in English or another language. I'm just wondering if there is some way to search for all the movies that have this available since many of them don't.

Check the drive health with the free demo of SMART Utility.

Reformatting and zeroing out might keep a drive going a bit longer, but once bad blocks become noticeable, it's not a drive you should trust any longer.
