Is there a way to see Mail in Finder with Mountain Lion?
I've got my mail synced to Gmail and sometimes I click on All Mail, so the computer procedes to try to download everything I've got.
I really would like to go into Mail in the Finder & delete the contents of that folder, which I'd done in Leopard, Snow Leopard, and Lion.
Anybody know if it's gone or if I just can't find it?
Thanks!

Tuttle- for some reason, when I try that Go-> (my username)/Library/Mail/V2/, the Finder says that folder doesn't exist. That was where it USED to be in Lion & Leopard, or at least in Library/Mail, but that folder no longer seems to be available to me.
I may just have to go to the darn Genius Bar and ask them what's going on.
You did click Go while holding the option key down, didn't you?
One more thing, check the Gmail account setup, if it is Imap DO NOT delete the content of the All Mail folder !!!!!!!!!!!!!

Control-click the Dock icon and choose to open it.

Mail Server problems with Mountain Lion Server
Well, I don't see a section here for Mountain Lion yet so I'll ask here. I installed Mountain Lion Server and for the most part everything is working well. I am have issues with the Mail Server though. As long as I dissable everthing but the Blacklist filter all works fine. If I enable Junk Mail or Virus filters I get this:
postfix/smtp[52062]: connect to 127.0.0.1[127.0.0.1]:10024: Connection refused
From doing some serching it seems to have something to do with amavisd but I don't think it is installed on my system. If it is I can't seem to find it. Should it be installed with the Server Software?
I'm really lost here so any help would be great.
Thanks,

The title speaks for itself. It's very anoying opening a message on the iphone and when you get to the mac all the messages you read allready on the iphone are not opened yet. Is there any way of syncing them so if you open a mail in iphone its marked 'read' in mac?
Thanks in advanceSuch behavior requires an IMAP or Exchange account. Sounds like you have a POP account & that's the way that POP accounts work. POP was designed for an age when users had only one device...a computer, thus POP doesn't play well in the modern world where users have multiple devices.

Is there a way to delete mail listing associated with a Wiki page?
There seems to be no way to delete mailed in entries to a wiki page. In other words when I e-mail to a wiki mail list such as [email protected], the resulting entry can't be deleted. Is there a way to do this?
You can do it if you know your way around the command line. Here's a quick article on it:

HT4753 Is there a way to disable autosave and version in Mountain Lion
Hi,
Is there a simple way to specify to witch app we want it enabled or disabled, instead of using command lines in terminal.
Or disable it permenantly using preferences ?
If it it possible, I have the same question for Lion.
Thanks to all. Thanks a lot for your suggestion to report with Apple. In fact, this would be so easy to enable or disable it globaky from the system preferences, and or make it available from within the application preferences. In that way, each of us would be able to manage witch app is doing what.
If this is it, maybe we could ask Apple to give us some more room to manage our files.
Thank again.

Is there a way to merge Mail account A on my desktop with Mail account A from separate hard disks? I lost all my old messages (thousands of them) in July, but most of them are safe elsewhere. I'd really like to put them all in one place, though!
The desktop (iMac) now has messages from July 2012 onward.
My separate hard disk backup has old messages up to June 2012.
Most of the ones between June and July are on a MacBook Pro which I bought about that time.
Is there a relatively easy and safe way to put these messages back together in Mail account A on my desktop again?
Many thanks!
SqVerkaWell, your profile info says 10.4.11, and you are posting your question in the iMac (PPC) category. If you are running Snow Leopard, it must be a fairly recent Intel iMac.
In that case, you should definitely post your question here
https://discussions.apple.com/community/mac_os/mac_os_x_v10.6_snow_leopard
where other Snow Leopard users can see your question. Restate the problem, what error messages you get, and what you have tried already (for trouble-shooting). -
Ping - Is there a way to see sent invites?
I tried to send a few invites to friends to join/follow me on Ping (manually entered email addresses - ugh). However, I don't see any "sent invites" sort of tab.
Is there any way of seeing who I invited/which invites are pending?
Also, I sent an invite to my spam email over an hour ago to see if it was working - but the invite hasn't shown up yet. what's up with that?I am so sorry, I have figured this out.

Is there a way to see Sent messages and received messages in a thread?
Hello, don't know if I am using the right terminology, but when I open up an email, I can see all their previous messages to me on that topic, but not my replies to them. Is there a way of seeing it as a conversation? thanks
I am so sorry, I have figured this out.

Say there's 300 messages in my inbox but when I look at my inbox on my Ipad it will only show 200 of the most recent emails. Is there a way to see all 300?
Not sure whether you are saying that you have more than 200 emails in your Inbox, or that 200 are in the Inbox and the others are in other folders. If the first then (I don't have more than 200 emails in my Inbox) but if you do and want to load more then do you not get a Load More Messages option if you scroll down to the bottom of your Inbox ?
If you want to be able to search multiple email folders then I don't think that you can do it within the Mail app itself, but the spotlight search screen (swipe your first homescreen to the right) can - you can control what is searched by spotlight via Settings > General > Spotlight Search -
In ICal is there a way to see all of the text in all day events on the month view of the calendar? Seems to wrap text only if there is a time on the event
The paths won't agree on the two OSs so a simple XML import isn't likely to work.
See Sync iPod/iPad/iPhone with two computers and, if needed, Make a split library portable. The techniques in the first link will work when moving the library between Windows and OS X as long as the library is "portable", but iTunes takes quite some time checking the database when the library is opened under a different OS.

Is there any way to make Mail open next message?
Is there any way to make Mail open the next message on the inbox automatically after deleting, forwarding o saving a message?
I mean, is there any way to, after reading a message, going to the next or previous message without double clicking the main inbox window?
I used (on windows) to read mail on outlook, or even on entourage for mac, and after I read a message, even if I deleted it, forward it, replied it, or even saving it on a folder, automatically the program (outlook, entourage, hotmail, etc) opened the next message on the inbox, but I am not able to find any way to make Mail do that.
Is there a way to it? Or should I provide suggestions to Apple?
By the way, no meant to prefer microsoft for this, I just think this is a cool feature for reading several messages one after another without going back to the main inbox page and double clicking the message to read...
Thanks for any helpDown-arrow, Return. Return opens the selected message. I read through hundreds of messages without ever touching the mouse. Once you get used to the keystrokes, Mail is extremely efficient.
