Is there a way to select multiple sequences and batch export them using the same settings in CS6?

I am a current Final Cut Pro7 user and looking to switch over to Premiere Pro CS6. We edit approx. 100 short (15 sec.) videos daily, and then select them all at the end of the day and batch export them over night using the same export recipe for all. I have having trouble finding an easy way to do this in Premiere pro CS6, as command +E is grayed out if i select more than one sequence at a time.
so far, it appears that i have to select each video individually and manually set encoding recipe and export location for each.... Not only would this be terribly time consuming, but it leaves a lot of room for error and missed videos. I thought i would be able to send all of the sequences to Adobe Media Encoder, but i dont see that option either.
Any suggestions/

Open Media Encoder and add your Sequences:
File > Add Premiere Pro Sequence
Navigate to your Premiere Project and select it in the list.
You can then select multiple Sequences from the Project (Ctrl+Click)
and load them all at once into Media Encoder and apply
the same encoding preset to all Sequences at the same time.

You should definitely be able to upload multiple files by Shift-clicking or Ctrl-clicking the files you want to upload. Just to make sure you don't have an old version of the service cached, please clear the browser cache and then log in to https://cloud.acrobat.com/files. After clicking the File Upload icon in the upper-right corner, you should be able so select multiple files for upload.

You could use Automator to do this - take a look at the article at http://www.wikihow.com/Batch-Rename-Files-in-Mac-OS-X-Using-Automator to see how this might be done.

To select consecutive images click and drag the cursor over multiple thumbnails to select all at once.
To select multiple images that are randomly located hold down the Command(⌘) key and click on those images you want to select.
Or to select consecutive images from a list of images that are together hold down the Shift key and and click on the first photo you want to select and the on the last photo you want in the list.

Is there a way of shifting purchases from one account to another with the same billing information, so that I don't lose purchases made by my iPhone when I sync?

The AOL address I was using for my iTunes account has been deleted due to me not signing in for awhile and I'm afraid that I will lose all of my purchases made from my iphone when I sync it into iTunes for a much needed update and so that I can (hopefully) transfer its data to my new iPhone 4...
The only time I have synced my current iPhone was when I activated it but since then I have not been able to sync with my computer and now have a new one.

You don't need to access your e-mail account, just get into your Apple account and change the e-mail address. If you can't access your Apple account, then you have a bigger issue to contend with.

Is there NO way to select multiple songs to go into a Music Playlist at once, vs doing it one by one?!

Argh. So irritating how something that should be very simple and intuitive results in useless calls to Sprint (my carrier) and BB. with endless holds, transfers, pasing the buck,and still no results. Then I'm suggested to go to the Forums...you know...where other paying BB customers can try tp provide the IT support that BB apparetnly could care less to do for its paying customers?
Anyway, I want to have multiple playlists in my BB Music so that when I host parties, I can play a particular type of music by selecting one of the playlists. I was able to move songs to my BB but they only seem to move to the general Music Library (All Songs). I was able to create Playlists, but it seems you can only move songs to the Playlist ONE AT A TIME. There is apparently no way to select multiple songs to go to a playlist? No way to move an entire folder of music from my PC to my BB songs, as its own separate sub-folder (i.e., Playlist)?
I know I've been able to do this with other devices in the past.
Otherwise the BB Music Playlist options seems totally pointless.

Is there a way to have all folders and files line up all the time by default?

I was wondering if there was a way to get all files and folders on the desktop and within locations like Downloads and Documents to automatically align to grid by default without user intervention.
If so, how can I do this?

Mario's post explains, how to arrange in colums in Finder windows.
You can use the same method to arrange the items on the Desktop:
Click on the empty Desktop to select it and to bring the Finder forward, press the key combination ⌘J.
Select "Snap to Grid" and set the spacing and icon size.
Select an option how you want to sort them, e.g. by kind.

Is there a way to order more than one type of card at the same time from iPhoto?

I would like to order a number of personalized cards from iPhoto, but I don't see a way of ordering them at the same time. It looks like they will all have to be separate orders. Is this the case or am I missing something? Otherwise, I pay more for shipping than I am for the card...in which case, I will just look elsewhere.

Is there a way to select multiple clips in FCP 7 and make all of them stereo pair at the same time?

I know,.... I'm still using FCP 7, but since there are no forums for this aaplication anymore, I figured I ask it here.
I want to select multiple clips on the timeline and make them all stereo pair. I pressed "Option L", but that does not work. Is there a way to do this?

Is there a way to select multiple track sections from different tracks and join them to make the chorus on iPhone?

I am currently using the iPhone to record my vocals on top of professional beats, or riddims as they are called in the dancehall world. Is there a way for me to select multipe voice sections from different tracks, copy them and then paste them later in the project. I don't want to record the chorus more than once. Normally what I do is sync the project to my wife MacBook Air and then from there edit it but I would like to avoid this. Also, I use the earpods microphone to record my voice and of course it doesn't come out professional quality but it is decent. Do you recommend a microphone that plugs to the iPhone or should I get an interface? Thanks for the help.

You can either copy and paste single regions or duplicate sections, if you want to copy regions
from different tracks in parallel.

Adjust the length of your sections in a way, that the regions you want to copy from different tracks are together in a section of your song.
Add a copy of a section:
Open the song section controls, choose the section you want to copy, then tap Duplicate.The copy is added after the last section.
Tap Done to close the song section controls.
After copying the section, move the new section to the end of the song:
Change the order of sections:
Open the song section controls, then tap Edit.
Drag a section up or down in the list by the handle on its right edge.
When you are finished, tap Done.
Tap Done to close the song section controls.

HT5517 Is there a way to select multiple speakers from my ATV3?

I have ATV3, an iPad2, a Sony Vaio laptop and another audio system connected to my WiFi network via an Airport Express.
Via ATV I can only select one speaker / output at a time (i.e. EITHER Airport Express OR ATV). When I have a party in the house (for example) I'd like to be able to select both to play the same music.
I know you I can select multiple speakers if I fire up the laptop and run iTunes (I then actually use the "Remote" app on the iPad, select my music library as the source and I can select mulitple speakers) but it doesn't seem possible with just ATV. Why not? I can see both outputs on ATV, I just want the option to be able to select both.
If my wife takes the laptop with her somewhere, I can't listen to my music throughout the whole house.
Seems a pretty big oversight - surely it'd be dead easy for Apple to do?

I beleive multi speaker output is strictly a function of iTunes. ATV1 was the hobby or beta environment and was a mix of OSX 10.4 (iTunes) and their developement of iOS. The multi speaker out was not a part of the further or current developement of iOS.
Still have an original atv out in the studio serving up music to the rest of the house... including the new appleTV2 in the living room

I selected multiple tracks, pressed "option L" but was not able to make multiple clips stereo pair at the same time.

If I remember correctly it is not possible modify a group of selected clips on the timeline with the Stereo Pair command - unless all the selected clips have exactly the same properties - such as being linked to video clips, etc. So you have to manually go through and select the dual mono tracks you want to pair individually or in smaller groups to be able to apply the Stereo Pair command.
If you select a bunch (a couple) of clips, and go to the menu Modify, you will see if Stereo Pair is grayed out or not. If it is grayed out, then you can't apply it to those clips as a group, but you probably will be able to apply it if you make smaller selections of clips.

Doing one variable at a time can be tedious. It's hard to believe there wouldn't be a solution for this.

I agree with tbd that there is rarelynever a reason for ton's of local variables.
Even if you feel you need many, it does not take much time to configure each right after creation and I see little use to globally change many from read to write or vice versa at a later point. An overuse of Local variable tend to make code hard to read and can easily cause race conditions. To make a new local variable, I typically ctrl+drag an existing one (read or write as needed) and "right-click..select item" to assign the desired control/indicator.

Is there a way to do multiple indexes and ToCs?

I have InDesign, CS2. I am wondering, is it possible to do multiple indexes? For example, an index of names, a separate index for places. Similarly, is it possible to make multiple Tables of Contents? What I really want is a Table of Contents, a list of illustrations, a list of charts, and a list of maps. What is the best way to go about this? I realize I can make a table of contents, copy the text and use it, then change the toc settings to make a new one. So my main concern is the indexes, but I am curious if there is a better way for the tocs.

The way you can do multiple indexes is by using the Symbol area of the
index topics and creating a separate index under different symbols.
You can set the alphabetic order manually. When you build the index,
you'll end up with separate sequences for each symbol and you then
just lay out each section where you need it.
Not intuitive, but it works...
