Is there a way to send a copy of a text message to my google email?

Hello,
Is there a way to send a text message from someone to my google email account? if not, is there a way to save a text message permanently?
(Many thanks in advance!)

Yes just open message thread for user (Shows all messages for that user) and tap the rim of message window you want to send and select forward and the type email address in to field and send...

  • Is there any way to send an event invitation to multiple people, but hide invitees' email addresses from recipients? I need to keep their details private...

    Hi,
I'm creating a series of events in Lightning, and sending invitations to all my adult class students. Legally, and ethically, I have to keep their personal details private. This includes their email addresses. I can't find a way to send invitations to a dozen people, without them seeing everyone's email addresses. I need something like a bcc option really. Is there a way please? Google calendar seems to be able to do it, but I don't want to use that, I far prefer TB/Lightning - largely because I can then send invitations from my business address instead of Gmail.
    Thanks very much,
    Melanie

The following is intended as general guidance about changing the to: designation in Thunderbird. I must admit I'm not sure how it works with calendar event invitations. I need to check. Of course, amongst colleagues and in the workplace generally, it's not required to hide addresses, and as that's pretty much the only context I have used automatically generated invitation emails, I hadn't found any need to use bcc:.
Thunderbird has bcc. Click on to: to change it.
Tip: change it when you add the first address, then each address you subsequently add will be set to bcc: automatically.
If you're using a Mailing List, bcc: will apply to each address in the list too.
And try F9 to see a Contacts Sidebar in the Compose window. This has explicit "Add to..." buttons.

  • I there a way to send a video in a text with the new ios 5.0 from the video folder?

I just upgraded to ios 5.0 on iphone 4s and videos are now in a new folder. Is there any way to text or email these videos from the folder?

There is no "out of box" tool per se that does this type of task, but you could probably script it with an Action that uses JavaScript.  If you are not familiar with Acrobat JavaScript then you will need to find someone who is familiar with it to assist you in building it.

  • Is there a way to hear voice mail and see text messages online?

My Stratosphere fell to the floor last night, and I can no longer see the display. Nothing I or the Verizon support guy could do today restored the display. The phone has rung but touching the screen to answer it does not work. I have purchased a new Stratosphere on e-Bay - I don't trust the locals to repair the phone properly - but there'll be a few days until I can get phone service again. Is there any way to access voice mail and text messages through the Verizon website or another phone during this period?

If there are people with whom you are expecting to exchange text messages, you can contact them to let them know of your plight by sending an e-mail to their text message address. For instance, [email protected] or [email protected] Of course you have to limit the message to text-message length.

  • Any way to send pictures in an SMS text message?

  • Is there a way to see the time of each text message, time it has been sent?

I'm trying to prove  a point to someone. I sure you used to be able to see what time someone sent you text messages it used to appear under the message or something. why is is not there anymore?
Is there a way to put it back in in settings?
I really wanna know im trying to prove a point to someone

    Hi Oiee,
Yes there is. When you're in the Messages app, swipe your finger across the screen towards the left and the time stamps will appear. When you let go, they go again.

  • Is there any way to tell to whom a group text message has actually been delivered.

How can you tell to whom a group text message has actually been delivered?

I use Verizon's Messages+ app; when I send a group text, then long press the message, I get a menu and one of the selections is Message info.  That will show me the contacts I sent the message to.  It doesn't always tell me who got it though - for example, I recently sent a group message to my four kids.  The status shows:
Child 1 - Delivered (On Verizon, separate plan/account)
Child 2 - Delivered (On my More Everything plan)
    Child 3 - Delivered (On AT & T)
    Child 4 - Sent (On T-Mobile)
I got replies from Child 1, 3, 4 - and all the replies all were sent to all in the group.  So I know Child 4 got the message and replied to the group, even though it doesn't say delivered.
I guess if it says "Sent" or "Delivered" you can assume it was delivered to the recipients phone.  If it did not get sent, it will say it failed to send or something.  Whether the recipient has READ it or not can't be determined, unless, of course, they reply. In that case you know they got it and read it.

  • Is there a way to put a signature on your text messages, Is there a way to put a signature on your text messages

Can I put a signature on the iPhone 4?

Except type it in, no, not with the stock app. The only signature setting is for email, and it only allows one for all accounts. I have heard there is an app in the app store that does something with SMS signature. You can try and search there.

  • Is there a way to put a password on my text messages?

i dont want to lock my whole phone all the time. i just want to lock my messages so my little brother and boyfriend cant get into them when they have my phone.

    No, it's not possible.
Your text messages are not the only thing protected by a passcode lock on the whole phone. Presumably, you wouldn't want anyone (especially a thief) making calls, reading your e-mail etc.?

  • HT1766 I'll be getting the Iphone 5 when it's released, either Friday or Saturday - depending when I have the day off of work...  Is there a way I can transfer my previous conversations/text messages from my Iphone 4 to my Iphone 5?

Is it possible/how can I transfew all of my text messages I currently have on the iphone 4 to the iphone 5 when I get the new Iphone?
For example, let's say I'm having a text message conversation with you over a 3 day period.  I never delete the text message/our conversation from my Iphone 4...  Can I have that (and all other text message conversations) transfered over to the new Iphone so I can resume the conversation where it was left off??  Please help.  Thank you very much!!  PS:  I'm not exactly computer savvy.

    It is explained here http://support.apple.com/kb/HT4946
Under "iTunes will back up the following information"
Messages (iMessage and carrier SMS or MMS pictures and videos).
P.S. I would call before you drive too.  I live within a half hour drive of two Apple Stores, several AT&T and Verizon Corp. stores, several BestBuys and a couple of Sprint Stores.  When the iPhone 4s came out, the local news reported that every single source was sold out within an hour of opening the doors on release day.  For that first week or so, stock arriving in the morning was sold out by noon - it was literally not worth even trying to buy in store for that first week or so, it was sheer bedlam.

  • Is there a way to send a folder without zipping it first?

Is there a way to send a folder without zipping it first? YouSendIt.com has a feature that zips the folder with the contents for you. Would love to see this added if it's not there already.

Not with the most common email systems - webmail, POP, SMTP or IMAP.
The only email system I know of that can prevent forwarding (or copying or printing) is Lotus Notes (now called IBM Notes).  I believe it can technically be done within an MS Exchange environment, but I have never actually seen it implemented in one.

Are you talking about extracting a txt conversation and exporting that to email?
    http://deciphertools.com/tm-mac.html
or you talking about sending a txt using your email?
Each carrier has a different email address:
    AT&T – [email protected]
    Verizon – [email protected]  ???
Verizon - [email protected]    pictures too
    T-Mobile – [email protected]
    Sprint PCS - [email protected]
    Virgin Mobile – [email protected]
    US Cellular – [email protected]
    Nextel - [email protected]
    Boost - [email protected]
    Alltel – [email protected]
If you are talking about txting to an email address,  not so much??
Copy your txt and paste it in a new email to send to an email address.

  • Is there a way to transfer or copy all my apps to another iPad with a different account? I was required in my job to use the one at work, but I would like to also see my current set ups and apps as in my personal one. Thank you so much!

What I suggest is that you try to pair your apple ID with you company ipad and see if it works.
    Here is why::
I believe that the Apple rules let you. They are something like:
-- for a shared iDevice, you may put the app on one device
-- for a device you use exclisively, you may put the app on five (or some number) of iDevices
I'm not lawyer, so how you interpred this is a question.
Now, you need to figure out how to do this.
In the past at least, apple used this terminalogy.
        Personal
        Institution
        Layered. combines personal & institution.
It depends on how your company has configured the iPad.
I have read where you can have upto three apple id per device.
