I do my time sheet iCal and was wondering if there is a way to send the calendar to mail to be emailed. When I'm on a specific calendar and try going into edit, the program won't let me access the cut, copy or paste function. Is there a specific way to email a calendar to someone?

I tried that and I get it, however my boss has a pc. Will she be able to open the attachment? I think she is running xp. Is there a way to copy the calendar and drop it into Bean so that I can send it without it being an attachment. When I try this, I get the list of the calendar stats, but no physical calendar. Normally I record my time sheet on a Bean document, then copy and paste it in mail. I tried sending her an attachment a long time ago, and I don't think her computer can open the attachments. I'm not overly techy(nor is my boss), so this has been my easiest route so far. I hope this makes sense.

I don't know if you could get away with using LrHttp to open a mailto link.
The only other option I know is to send data to your web server and have it send SMTP.

Is there a way to stop the calendar from linking to keywords in text messages in IOS 7?

With the new upgrade to IOS 7, I've noticed that certain keywords such as "tonight," "tomorrow," or times like "9:15" all underline and form a link to the calendar in text messaging. Is there a way to turn this feature off? It's quite annoying as I don't create events from my messages.

I find this annoying as well, and cannot fathom why there isn't an option to disable it for those of us that find it irritating.

I am using iMovie 11 and a new ATV. I would love to publish my home movies to iTunes to play through ATV but the only file choice is large. Is there no way to play HD versions on the TV? I can play them on my computer apparently.

If you want them to display on the TV then you need to export from iMovie and store in iTunes. If storage space is the issue you can store them on an external drive and point them to iTunes.

I would like to be able to send email using either an Applescript or a shell script that would send email without opening Mail.app. The ideal solution would be using an account and settings (such SSL encryption of my password) that are stored in mail.app. However, if that is not possible, I could set up another email account to be used just for the purpose I have in mind so I don't have to worry about my password being exposed in clear text.
I've seen Applescripts that open Mail.app and then hide it in the background but the key requirement for my particular need is that Mail.app never open during the send process. I synchronize my email between my iMac and my Powerbook using Chronosync so it is critical that none of the files that store or index the actual mail in Mail.app be opened so as not to alter their modification dates.

If you upgrade to 10.4 there is a widget that will let you compose and send mail without opening Mail.
Here's two other options.
1. Does your isp have a web based email?
2. Download a program like thunderbird for email. When you configure it end phony information for incoming mail and only fill in the correct infor for outgoing mail.

My iPhone 4S could send video to my Audi MMI, and control it within the car It WAS PERFECT, I could get my GPS to show in the car without ANY hack! everything legal. iPhone 5 with Lightning Adapter just wont. Please help me with a work around.
This way, I can get Waze to show up on my car Screen. It would be great when Apple gets IOS in the car. But now, I only found that it is possible with a Lightning to VGA or HDMI cable and and Audi AMI cable with those imputs, but that way it is impossible to control the iPhone from the car/wheel.

The 2005 iMac iTunes says it's 10.6.1 and I don't think that model will upgrade to any newer version of the OS or of the iTunes. Everytime I try to send a message to a person that does not have an Apple product ( Iphone or Ipad ) it comes up saying contact is not registered for iMessage and wont send it. I can only send them a message from my iPhone 4 instead. Do I have to install a new App from the App store to send these non iMessage cell users a message?

Have your brother create a contact in his phone for himself. Inside his own contact, have him add his phone number and his iCloud address.
Settings > Messages > Send & Receive Have your brother select both his phone number and email addresses where he would like to receive iMessages.

Hello userlarry, do you have Mobile Me? You could use that. Or you could compress them, you would still need to send them in an email, but it would help with size limitations of emails.
To compress them, put them in a folder and right click on the folder. You should see a Compress option. Then just drag the .zip file into your mail.
