Is there a way to send errors to Apple Maps on the computer?

Everyone's complaining about it, so I decided to start adding points of interest in my town, but entering all the information is sloooow on the touchscreen. I'll volunteer some time if I can use my good ol' QWERTY. So... is there a way to access Apple Maps on a full-size computer?

Hi, Santosh..., and welcome to the Community,
I would recommend testing the SMS reply forwarding to your mobile number. Depending upon the results and if this works for you, you could then contact Skype Customer Service to cancel and request a refund.
In other words, SMS will be received via your mobile number, not via your Skype Number.

The first variant is to add many parameters to event.
The second variant is to extend calling callback functions.
For example,

Sorry for insulting Apple. This whole thing has me frustrated. You would think that this is an easy thing...which it is after downloading the third party software and all.
I am just a bit edgy after talking to 3 customer support folks for almost 2 hours, who I could barely understand and then having them just tell me to download the files again. 3500+ songs...jumping out the window was looking more pleasant (jk). Now I have to explain to the wife why the phone is busted in-two...lol.
Anyway, I was able to get hooked up with some software and it seems to be downloading fine. I am using iPodCopy. Thanks for the nudge in the right direction and putting up with a bit of attitude. I am sure they have their reasons for not making this an easier operation.

You've tried closing and re-opening iTunes and/or rebooted your computer and you have the latest version of iTunes installed ?

I recieved most of the music that is currently on my iPod from my cousin, but if i want to add some of MY music to the iPod then i have to erase all of her music off of it! Is there a way to save the music that is already on there and then put it back on the iPod once it has been erased?

First of all try this method which works on some Windows PCs.
Open iTunes and select edit/preferences/advanced/general. Put a check mark in the box marked "copy files to iTunes music folder when adding to library" and also "keep iTunes music folder organized", then click 'ok'.
Connect the iPod whilst holding down the shift/ctrl keys to prevent any auto sync, and if you see the dialogue window asking if you want to sync to this itunes library, click 'no'.
Then go to file/add folder, open 'my computer', select your iPod and click 'ok'.
The music files should transfer to your iTunes.
If this doesn't work (and it may not because officially it's not supposed to), check out the instructions/suggestions here.
Music from iPod to computer (using option 2). This a manual method using "hidden folders" and although it works, it can be messy.
Much easier ways are to use one of the many 3rd party programs that copy music from the iPod to the computer.
One of the most recommended is Yamipod. This is a free program that transfers music and playlists etc from iPod back to the computer. However, it does not transfer playcounts/ratings etc.
There is also CopyPod. This does preserve ratings/playcounts etc if those are important to you but this program is not free.
If you are using iTunes version 7 or later, then you can transfer purchased iTunes store music from the iPod to an authorized computer by using the "file/transfer purchases from iPod" menu. Note that the maximum of 5 authorized computers applies here.

I'm trying to use location-based reminders. But the Home and Work addresses I have in my own contact card are not recognized by Apple Maps.
Is there a way to use Apple Maps to set the Home and Work addresses in my contact card to something that it will be able to understand?
Edit: It doesn't have to be with Apple Maps. Google Maps or any other service where I can bookmark my "Current Location" would be fine. I just want an effieient way to use Location-based reminders when manually inputting an address is not an option, but locating it on a map is.

Unfortunately there is no way to do that current stage , you would need to add the tags manually.

Is there any way to use an Apple TV original in conjunction with an AppleTV 2? If not can you by connectors to hook up an Apple TV 2 to a receiver ar TV w/o HDMI?

They won't communicate with each other at all.
Some people wondered if you could use an AppleTV 2/3 to stream content stored on AppleTV 1 without iTunes running but this is not possible. iTunes in teh cloud and iTunes match may offer a solution however.
As for adapters they are available but can be hit and miss as converting digital signals to analogue can potentially scupper the HDCP protection required for movies etc.

My mac book was stolen and although i had time machine i had not backed up to a current hard drive because that was also stolen. I was wondering if there was some software that allowed me to access my old computer somehow, does it save your files to the internet or to some external system manually ? obviously i know this is unlikely but i thought i would check as the computer had all my work on it.

I try to warn people, that TimeMachine drives tend to get stolen along with everything else.
To make and store bootable clones offsite or in a safe or something.

I don't know if it was off by default & now it is on with the update but turning it off changes Adobe Reader's behavior back to what the users expect - a prompt warning you if you want to overwrite the existing file & then selecting Yes to overwrite.

Edit - Preferences - Security (Enhanced)
Uncheck Enable Protected Mode at Startup

We unchecked the "Enable Protected Mode at startup" box --> Yes --> OK. Our users are happy now. ^_^

Everytime I try to send a message to a person that does not have an Apple product ( Iphone or Ipad ) it comes up saying contact is not registered for iMessage and wont send it. I can only send them a message from my iPhone 4 instead. Do I have to install a new App from the App store to send these non iMessage cell users a message?

I currently own a cellular iPad mini and an iPhone 4s and would like SMS to be the same on both devices as well as my desktop.
After many months of struggling with iMessage, I decided to turn it off entirely. I discovered that my best friend did not receive dozens of my texts over the span of a few months (I compared our message history side by side). Seems like it had something to do with traveling in and out of wifi zones or possibly conflicts between our two carriers, ATT and Verizon. Regardless, I am not willing to dive into iMessage fully until this gets sorted out. Further, SMS is the standard message format for everyone outside of the Apple sphere, and I do not feel comfortable lumping them together into one app. If I decide to switch to Android, will all of my contacts with iPhones continue sending me iMessages?

Android phones don't receive iMessages, they can recieve SMS messages sent through the iOS Messages app. The app that your contacts choose to use to send you messages is completely up to them.

Yes it is possible and simple to do.
- In the compose window of TB, display the address books on the left
- select the adress book you want
- select normally the first contact (left click)
- while pressing a shift key, select the last contact (--> all selected)
- just under the last contact, use the button you want.
In an address book it is also possible to create a mailing list.

ls there a way to send music to multiple airplay speakers with my ipad 4 without having to use itunes as the master controller on my other PC. l know it is possible with itunes, but surely the ipad should be able to play to more than one airplay device at a time, we are living in the year 2013.
Is there an alternative and if there is not, could someone please explain or point me in the wright direction why it is so!
