Is there a way to set the ACLs on a folder so that users cannot copy a file?
Hello,
Is there a way to set the ACLs on a folder so that users cannot copy a file?
I have a customer that wants to put an employee handbook into a FORMS FOLDER. But he doesn't want users to be able to copy the file into other folders or onto removable media.
Admittedly, I have never run into this before and my testing hasn't yielded an answer...
Any Ideas?
Thanks again,
Robert
Use third party software for security management (http://www.wave.com/ ,

I have a number of Ms Word documents because I used to have Word for Mac before the last OS release. Now, of course, when I double-click on them, I get a message saying that PowerPC isn't supported.
Now Pages will open these files. Is there any way to change the default for *.doc files so that a double-click will open them in Pages?
(Instead of me going to the trouble of finding out where they are actually located on the hard drive so that I can open pages and say - here, open this file--even though you didn't create it--)Click on a .doc file and type Cmnd I to open Get Info. In the Open with: menu select Pages, then click on Change All…

Is there a way to set the default level of keyframe easing?
I'm currently using the graph editor to smooth my ease-in / ease-out keyframes with 100% influence. I'm having to adjust the easing of each keyframe individually.
Is there a way to set the default level to 100%, so that I can just select "Easy Ease In" and have it apply without having to go into the graph editor? It would save a lot of time. No, there's not a way to do that, but it's a good feature request. You can submit feature requests here:

In IE if I set the zoom at lets say 150% it will stay that way even if I shut down. But with firefox, it goes back to small print every time I view a new page. Is there a way to set the zoom to stay at a larger size? Thanks, EHIf you need to adjust the font size on websites then look at:

Adobe Reader 11.0.07 defaults to duplex printing. Is there a way to set the default to leave that "print to both sides of the page" box unchecked?
I am working on an end-user's computer, I just updated to the newest Adobe Reader and they don't ever print duplex. I want to be able to have the "print to both sides" box unchecked on the print dialog by default. Is there a way to do this? I have the printer settings all set to 1-sided but it is adobe print dialog settings that keep messing it up.
Thanks!Hi John,
Have you tried repairing Reader and checked?
Does this issue occur only on this machine or are you facing the issue with other computers as well which have updated to Reader 11.0.10?

Is there any way to set the SCCM system to use local time instead of UTC?
We have ConfigMgr 2012 in our environment. We are in EST.
Is there any way to set the SCCM system to use local time instead of UTC?
When we try to deploy packages, if you don’t specify the time, it reverts to UTC which for us is off by 5 hours.Which times are you talking about? Deployment start times or deadlines? Those could be set to UTC *or* client local time.

Normally Firefox prints Title, URL, time and page number on the four corners of the printed page. I want to remove printing of this
information and instead print the page out to the corners limited by
what the printer allows. I know how to stop printing the URL etc. but then I get empty margins. I want to set this margins to zero so Firefox prints on the whole paper sheet. As it is now I will have to use another browser that doesn't insert unwonted margins. Is there a way to set the FOLDERS window in Adobe Bridge as a Column view like in Mac OSX Finder?

Is there a way to update the itunes match to reflect changes that i have made on my computer
Every time i update itunes match it looses my alterations to my playlists and undoes any alterations to any albums i have made. Is there a way to update the itunes match to reflect changes that i have made on my computer?(Only copies new playlists and reverts old playlists to the way they were the first time I uploaded them) Any star ratings for albums are lost too if I put a star rating on them AFTER I first upload them to ITunes match.
Any help would be greatly appreciated and Merry Christmas you guys!
Mark O'FlahertyHI
You don't need to select update iTunes match. It does not do what you expect!! You only need to make the changes and they will filter through to match naturally.

Is there a way to flip the pages in a .pdf so that all of the text is readable (in other words all documents are right side up)? I have Adobe Acrobat X and am using Windows 8.1.
I have a pdf with over 2,000 pages, many of which are sideways. I do not want to manually flip each one (few are next to each other). Is there a way to automate the function so that all sideways or upside down text pages are righted?

Is there a way to set the iPhone to have a black screen with white text?
I found the "Invert Colors" option under Settings > General > Accessibility, and like it a lot. It provides enhanced readability.
The problem is that it inverts all colors, even for apps. So when I view a web page in Safari, all the colors are inverted for the images.
And when I view my photos in Photos, these are also inverted as well.
Is there a way to set up the iPhone to default to a black screen and white letters for the OS, but allow the apps and photos, etc. to
be viewed in their regular colors. For example, can I run Photos to view my photos on a black background but view the photos in their
normal coloring?I'm afraid that is not possible, maybe this could bee a step in that direction if you use the mentioned Zoom function:
Invert Colors and Grayscale
Sometimes, inverting the colors or changing to grayscale on the iPhone screen makes it easier to read.
Invert the screen colors. Go to Settings > General > Accessibility, then turn on Invert Colors.
See the screen in grayscale. Go to Settings > General > Accessibility, then turn on Grayscale.
Turn on both effects to see inverted grayscale. You can also apply these effects to just the contents of the zoom window—see Zoom on page 150.
