Is there a way to set up a form where the user can define the recipient?

I want to set up a form that looks like this:
Your email: [email protected]
Your Friend's email: [email protected]
Message to your friend: I though you would find this
interesting.. blah blah.... www.linktomysite.com
So is there a way to have the form recipient be defined by
the person filling it out? So [email protected] sends this to
[email protected] through a form on my site. I know there's
plenty of refer-a-friend scripts out there, but it seems like this
could be done with a little bit of code changing... maybe not.

Is there any way to set input levels on the built in iPad mic?

I have several recording apps the the level is too hot. I have looked in the system settings and there is nothing there that I could see. On my Mac I can adust imput levles from the audio part of System Preferences. Is there anything like that on the iPad?

Is there a way to set up a form field in pages?

I would like to add a form field to document similar to Microsoft Word, (the little gray box that you put the cursor in and add text later). I am templating a medical report and would typically use form field boxes, (in MS WOrd), for the areas where I will dictate text into at the time the reports are dictated.

I think this is an unfortunate miscommunication of the term ”form," and I believe it has prematurely obstructed a proper answer to your problem.
Pages can place and define text (or other media) in a template as a placeholder block. Unlike MS Word, it does not incorporate form controls or macros to achieve this functionality.
You would position these placeholder blocks where they are needed within your document template. When you create a new document from this template, your boilerplate would have these embedded placeholder blocks, with their inherent instructions for content completion.
Try the following in your Pages > Help:

When I add a new track, it is automatically set to Stereo Out, is there a way to make it automatically set to Bus 5? I use a mix that sends everything through busses and every time I add a track it seems I have to adjust this.

...and/or setup one or more tracks the way you want.. and then create/save a template and load that when you want to start a new project...
You can even have Logic (via it's Startup preferences) autoload that template every time you start a new project... by choosing your template as the default one.

Are you really using an earlier OS than Mac OS 8.6? That would be either 8.1, or 8.5 if I recall correctly.

Email settings are set to enable HTML Email & set to download images automatically but I still have to tell it to download the images and go through the prompts advising that downloading internet images can expose your internet address, blah blah blah.

I would start by creating a filter that looks like the one in the picture, but if you were run the filter automatically when getting new mail, it might behave oddly if new mail arrives while you're reading a message.

I have a wireless router with dual band signals, as well as an extender at the other end of my home... it would be nice if I could set a priority list so my phone knows to always connect to the 5GHz signal if available, rather than trying to connect to the 2.4GHz signal which is on the other side of the house...

By default, the iPhone will prioritize Wi-Fi over cellular for data and when doing Wi-Fi, will latch on to the strongest signal it can associate (latch on) to. But all that is automatic, there's no evident control for manual adjustments. Other than deleting the Wi-Fi networks you don't like.

Is there any way I can turn automatic backups off in Logic Pro 8? Apple has set it so you can't switch them off any more. (You could switch them off in Logic versions 6 and 7.)
I see other people have had this problem and it has been discussed on these forums but nobody seems to have offered a crystal clear solution.

But I can't see exactly how or where to do this.
Open the Terminal application. Type the command above and press return.
Note that setting it to 0 *does not* turn it off, it gives you one autobackup next to the song file, rather than creating an auto backup folder and putting the backups in there.

No it's not stealing. They have an allowance that you can share with so many computers/devices. You'll have to authorize her computer to play/use anything bought on your acct. You can do this under the Store menu at top when iTunes is open on her computer.
As far as getting it all on her computer....I think but I am not sure (because I don't use the feature) but I think if you turn on Home Sharing in iTunes it may copy the music to her computer. I don't know maybe it just streams it. If nothing else you can sign into your acct on her computer and download it all to her computer from the cloud. Not sure exactly how to go about that, I haven't had to do that yet. I wonder if once you authorize her computer and then set it up for automatic downloads (under Edit>Preferences>Store) if everything would download. Sorry I'm not much help on that.

If machines have been accidentally deleted from a collection is there any way for SCCM to automatically recover them?

Is there a setting to do so? Also, along these lines is there a way to set SCCM to automatically delete PC's in a collection if they have been inactive for a certain period of time?

Whether or not machine records are in a collection doesn't matter. When a machine record is deleted from the console it is essentially deleted from the database. SCCM can't recover what was deleted the way you describe, but
the machine records will come back after the machines execute their next heartbeat discovery.
And yes, there are site maintenance tasks that run to remove inactive clients, but they are not enabled by default.

This has been part of the Mac OS for a long time. Starting with OS10.5, the automatic maintenance routines in OSX know to run at startup or wake-from-sleep. Prior to that, the routines ran in the wee hours of the morning only if the computer were turned on and not asleep--not too realistic.
So yours is already cleaing its room without being asked--better than most teenaged boys!

Is there a way to make Mailbox automatically update as soon as you get new mail?

I just got an iPhone 4, and I noticed that my mailbox only updates when I open it, even if I received new mail since I last checked. Is there a way to make it automatically update when I get new mail in my inbox? There's sort of no point to alerting me when I get new mail if I'm already in the inbox.
I dunno if it matters, but my mail box is synced to a gmail account.
I also don't really know what my operating system is, but I guess it's iOS 6 since it's a new phone? I don't know how to check.

It depends on how you have mail checking your mail. You mention that you have a Gmail account. Did you set this up as an Exchange account to use Push? If you have mail set to only check manually, then that is what will happen, it will only update manually. If you have it set to one of the other time settings, it will update like that, as that will be the only time it will connect to the mail server, even with the application open.
