Is there a way to swap the Fn key and left Ctrl key

Is there a way to swap the functions of Fn key and left Ctrl key on the keyboard. I'm used to other keyboards where the keys are switched and I keep pressing Fn when I want to press Ctrl. I figure I'll get used to it eventually, but when I use the laptop in a docking station with a regular keyboard the control key is in one spot and undocked with the Lenovo keyboard the function key is there instead, which makes it hard to get used to.
If not is there a way to disable the Fn + Space bar function that changes the screen resolution. The programs I use use control + space heavily and my screen resolution keeps changing when I don't want it to.
It's a small thing I know, but very maddening.

Thanks, I took the survey. It's interesting the questions on there were asking about location of keys like page up and page down. I find the position of those keys are not that important to me because I don't use them that much and don't seem to mind looking at the keyboard to find them. Also they are almost always in different spots depending on whether you are on a desktop or laptop keyboard so I guess I'm used to unconsciously switching depending on which keyboard I'm on.
But the left control key is one of the most heavily used, at least by developers like me (control+c to copy, control+v to paste, and control+space for code assist, shift + control + f to format code, shift + control + r to find resources, etc...). I have to hit that Ctrl button 1000 times a day. And the key is in the bottom far left corner on every keyboard (desk top and laptop) I've ever seen until now. Having to remember to look down at the keyboard to find the key is proving difficult and I think is actually hurting my productivity. Especially control+space (when you are expecting a popup to automatically complete the line of code you're working on and instead the screen blinks, resizes and your whole editor loses focus it really breaks your flow of thought, so thanks a million for helping me turn off the silly screen zoom feature).
Hopefully I'll get used to it like with the other keys like page up and page down although I've had the laptop for two weeks and it's proving difficult. If I had know that Thinkpads have this layout and how maddening it would be to get used to it I probably wouldn't have bought it, even though everything else about it is great. It's amazing how such a small thing can become such an irritant.
Well thanks again, and if anybody from Lenovo engineering is reading this post, my vote is for some bios setting on the T61P that swaps the functions of Fn and Left control key. It would save me a lot of grief anyway.

Hello Apple.
It seems you have gone to great lengths to improve accessibility in many areas of the iPad. Why was this obvious problem with icon text size missed? (It's not with the Mac.). And for so long too.
Do you employ people with actual accessibility problems to help you do UI design?
I think too, that some buttons are too close for people who might have motor control problems.
I love my iPad but I fear as I age, the iPad might not keep up with me.

Firefox Sync works thru a server, either Mozilla's sync server or a local sync server the user has running on their own LAN. There's no way to sync the data to a thumb drive unless it has a version of Firefox on that thumb drive.
You didn't mention which "settings" are involved, but you can export your Firefox bookmarks in HTML format to a thumb drive, and view that bookmarks.html file on any web browser on just about any operating system.

For your other personal data in Firefox, there is no real solution outside of using Firefox.

You can open the Code Inspector Window to have the code completely separate from the Design/Document window. You can also then move the CI window to a separate monitor if you like.

Key date applicable to entire query for time dependent attributes and heirarchies.
You can create a user entry variable and use it for query key date. So can choose at input screen. and also you can populate default value using user exit(eg: current date).

Yes right click on a toolbar, the customize option allows ordinary or small icons.

Additionally there are add-ons that change content size.

I am working with a student who has limited movement of his hands. He is able to operate a mouse. However, he cannot operate the mouse and make key commands at the same time. Is there any way to adapt the mouse so command key actions can be carried out without pressing the key?

Look inside System Preference "Universal Access" (or whatever even more politically correct name it is called now).
There is a feature called "Sticky keys". That says that when you press the command key in a certain way, it stays pressed (It is "Sticky").
There are also two and three button mouse devices that can be used readily on a Mac (including the "Mighty Mouse" with the little rollerball) that can register one, two, or three button operations.

Looks like you didn't get a reply on your post, but it is still a problem. Font size is supposedly changeable via "Accessibility" in Settings, but it doesn't work. You can turn on "Zoom".

I have at least one Canon remote that I've used with my 7D's. Unfortunately, I don't have it with me, because today's shoot doesn't require it. So I can't give you the model number. (Models come and go anyway.) It has a shutter button that you can press halfway to activate auto-focussing, just like the button on the camera. But you do have to make sure that the camera has an IR sensor. On a Canon DSLR, look for it where the fingers of your right hand would cover it up; I think that's intentional, so that a spurious IR beam won't fire the shutter while you're taking hand-held shots. Also, check that the camera and the remote are compatible, e.g. that they agree on the frequencies of light that are to be used.

My company has set of styles contained within templates, and the documentation set has been created using these templates.
However, our products are now being sold by a third party company that want to stamp their own brand on the documents and have given me their own templates that they want me to apply. Is there a way to do this? It is not just a question of the Paragraph and Character styles - it also affects things such as the header and footers, and margin widths...
I need to be able to swap back and forth between our and their templates too, as we still sell the products ourselves.
If anyone can provide some guidance on how I would go about this, I would be very grateful, as I have not found a successful way to apply a different template.

That's the tougher part. When the format names are the same, you can import all of master Flow A into the empty plagiarizing templates, which can have entirely different page layouts, paragraph, character, table, xref, variable and color defs. We do this for badge engineering, but the format names are the same.
If the formats map one-for-one, other than names, and have nil overrides, you could probably write a script to re-cast the MIFs prior to Flow import. 3rd party tools might eliminate both the MIF and coding steps.

I have tried using the set in system of trying to update an app and being prompted to agree, but every single time Apple's gay system keeps telling me that my session has timed out and I should try again. Try resetting your device.
If that fails, Reboot, Reset, Restore.

If I were you? If you have iTunes gift cards handy just get one of those. I set up my iTUnes years ago and all I use are gift cards. Yeah, the remainder of the $15 dollars sits there, but if anyone gets into my iTunes that's all they can get, whatever balance I have.

Now that the "Status Bar" is gone, is there a way to hide the "status notification" (bottom left corner) when a page loads? This is on Windows & FF5/6

The so called "Status Bar" has apparently gone away since FF4, I'm now onto 6 I think, on my work machine. But one of the things I liked about the Status Bar was that it could be hidden entirely.
With no Status Bar, now when a page is loaded in FF, you get a floating "Status Notification" in the bottom left corner for a second or two while the page is loading (this even happens in FullScreen F11, something I never had to deal with when the Status Bar existed).
What I want to know is, is there a way to turn off this "Status Notification" entirely? A setting somewhere? Something in About:config? I haven't been able to find anything.
