Is there a way to sync IOS 7 with Itunes 10.7?

i made a mistake of upgrading IOS 7 on my ipod and now it won't sync with my Itunes 10.7..  There's no way I will ever upgrade to POS Itunes 11.  Does anyone know a way to sync IOS 7 with Itunes 10.7 ??
<Re-Titled By Host>

No. Once your devices are running iOS 7 you need iTunes 11.1 or later...
The main differences between iTunes 11 and earlier versions are the loss of coverflow and ability to have multiple windows open.
In Windows, you can restore much of the look & feel of iTunes 10.7 with these shortcuts:
ALT to temporarily display the menu bar
CTRL+B to show or hide the menu bar
CTRL+S to show or hide the sidebar
CTRL+/ to show or hide the status bar (won't hide for me on Win XP)
Click the magnifying glass top right and untick Search Entire Library to restore the old search behaviour
Use View > Hide <Media Kind> in the cloud or Edit > Preferences > Store and untick Show iTunes in the cloud purchases to hide the cloud items. The second method eliminates the cloud status column (and may let iTunes start up more quickly)
If you don't like having different coloured background & text in the Album (Grid) view use Edit > Preferences > General and untick Use custom colours for open albums, movies, etc.
With iTunes 11.0.3 and later you can enable artwork in the Songs view from View > Show View Options (CTRL+J) making it more like the old Album List view
View > Show View Options (CTRL+J) also contains options to change the sorting of grid based views

  • Is there a way to sync photos alphabetically with iTunes 10.7.0

After upgrading to iOS 6 and iTunes 10.7.0 (from 10.6.1.7), my photos are extremely out of order and too jumbled up to even bother looking through. Before iTunes 10.6.3 and 10.7.0, photos were arranged by alphabetical order, not date taken or whatever it is sorted by now.
I adapted to the alphabetical ordering and named all of my pictures so that they would appear in alphabetical order like I wanted them to on my iPod touch 4th generation, and now Apple changes the ordering method so my photos are not in order. Why on earth did Apple suddenly change the method in which photos were sorted after being synced? And furthermore, why is there no option to revert back to alphabetical sorting? They took something that was perfect and made it complete garbage. I have ~10 folders each with upwards of 500 pictures in them, and while the folders are in order, the pictures in them are not and it's frustrating beyond belief.
I can't downgrade my iTunes alone because it won't be compatible with iOS 6, and I can't downgrade both my iOS and iTunes together because then my iTunes Library.itl will not be recognized (does not recognize an iTunes Library.itl made by a newer ver of iTunes), and then my play counts, synced iPod data, and other iTunes info will all be wiped.
This is stupid.. I want to know if there's a way to sort photos alphabetically like they did in the past few versions of iTunes (10.6.1.7 and a bit earlier), because now the 4 gb of photos stored on my iPod is just dead weight.

I just noticed this tonight! I'm kicking myself for updating iTunes! I have well over 30.000 photos and now they are all out of order.
I upgraded to 10.6.3.25 and all the photos are sorted by date now and none of the sub-folders are recognized.
This has happened before and it took them over a year to fix it. I wish they would give us a preference as to how we want our images displayed. The whole photo cache thing is so ridiculous! Mine is up to 11GB right now.

Syncing to a new iTunes library or computer will erase your iPod. Only if you back up your iPod manually before syncing, you can restore your device from that backup again. A manual backup does not include the sync process.
    Do this:
Disable autosync in iTunes, connect your iPod to your new computer and right click on it in the device list and choose backup. iTunes will backup your ipod without syncing.
Transfer your purchases the same way, choosing "transfer purchases" this time.
When you connect your device for the first time, all media content will be erased. But you can restore your settings and app data from your manual backup afterwards.
Don't forget to set up at least one contact and event on your new computer to be able to merge calendars and contacts when you sync the iPod for the first time.
Music is one way only, from the computer to your device, unless you bought the songs in itunes and transferred your purchases.

Is there a way to sync outlook calendars with Imac, Ipad, Iphone calendars?  I am not running exchange server.

    hello,
BlackBerry devices do not support ActiveSync.
you have several ways, from best to less good :
    1)
if your company has set up Outlook Web Access, you can use the BIS connection of your device to connect to the Exchange server (email + Address book) through the url of the Outlook Web Access. The OWA needs to be accessible from outside the company.
    2)
if your company has setup an external link to the exchange server (can be accessible from outside the company), you can configure your BIS directly to the Exchange server (email only if I recall correctly)
    3)
if your company allows it, on your PC you can setup your email account to automatically forward all incoming emails to a third party email (like GMail or Hotmail), and then configure BIS to connect to that email provider. You will get push email. You can then setup a reply-to: field.
    4)
use a Windows Mobile phone that has the ActiveSync feature.

Is there a way to sync contacts iPhone with my macbook pro

    Yes.
    1) With iTunes and an USB cable.
    2) Using MobileMe over the air. (I think it's replaced by iCloud soon [5th Oct.])
I would just wait and create an iCloud account when it's released.

Copy everything from your backup copy of your old computer to your new one.
    Then sync.

  • Is there a way to sync my ical with another person's ical?

My husband and I both have icloud and we both have macs with ical on them.
Is there way to sync our calendars -- essentially to take all the info i have on mine and get it to his computer and phone, etc?

Correction to my previous note: [what i learned after trying it myself]
In order to save the Lion OS onto an additional computer in your home... you don't sign in to iTunes on their computer -- you sign into the App Store (under the apple in the upper left corner) on their computer.
Once you're in the App Store: Click on "Featured" on the top. Then, Click on "Account" (in the column to the right). Log in using the user id and password of the person/computer who purchased it.
(You can purchase one OS for the home and use it on multiple computers -- per the genius/tech guy at the apple store.)
Then, click on "Purchased" from the top row again (up there with "Featured") and you should see the Lion OS if you purchased it on your own computer. Click on "Install" and you're good to go!
    Follow prompts to complete installation.
(Note: It may take a couple hrs -- and it makes a few things work and look differently, fyi.)
Once you've got both computers working in the Lion OS, you can complete your iCloud registration.
Now, after having install them, your computer should be syncing properly with your iPhone, etc.
To share your calendar, open iCal, Click on "Calendar" at the top and scroll down to "Share Calendar" -- You'll need to share each "Calendar" or 'category of calendar' individually with the person/people you want to share that particular heading/category of your calendar with... You do so by chosing who you want to share with and typing in their email. They'll get a notice on their iCal in a little box at the top (and a number in a red circle will show above the iCal icon as well). They'll also receive an email asking them if they want to accept or decline sharing a particular calendar with you (or 'so & so'.)
Either way -- once they accept it, all the stuff you've got saved in that particular category of your calendar will now show up on their calendar.
My husband and I are finally on the same page!! He can see all our plans on his calendar on his iPhone!! Also -- when sharing, you can select to have others be able to 'read only' what you're syncing -- OR -- you can allow them to "read and write." in other words, they will have access to the calendars you're sharing and they can make edits to them if you allow them to "read and write."
We are very pleased you can do this. I thought it was only possible to share calendars/have a mutual calendar with google calendar... Very happy you can share calendar info with others!! Woo hooo!!

  • Is there any way to sync ur iphone to itunes on a different computer

I am deploying to afghanistan and i bought a new laptop to take with me the problem is my iphone is synced to my computer at hoe is there any way to download itunes to my laptop and sync my phone to it without losing all my songs and everything else

Since all iTunes content on your iPhone should be in your iTunes library on the computer that has been used for syncing your iPhone, transfer your iTunes library from that computer to your new computer along with all other important data from the existing computer that you will need or want to access on your new computer such as any documents, photos, etc. Transfer your iTunes library per the instructions included with this link.

  • Is there a way to sync iCloud Calendar with Google Calendar and vice versa?

I have been using Google Calendar for awhile and really just like the design of Mac's calendar a lot more. I want to use the calendar feature on iCloud because I can access it online when I need to. However I use an Android so I don't think I can completely utilize the iCloud Calendar feature on my phone. Is there a way to get Google Calendar and iCloud Calendar to talk?

  • Is there any way to sync my two macs iTunes libraries?

I have two Macs a Macbook Pro and an Imac.  I'd like to sync the iTunes libraries.  Is this possible?

A not-infrequent question and as yet the answer is pretty much no, there isn't an easy way to do it.  One way is to keep your library on an external drive and move it between computers so you are really using just one library.  Apple has, of course, come up with you being able to download media to various locations as long as you buy all your music from Apple, or you subscribe to Match.  Still, this is just downloading media. It isn't synchronizing the library since that involves more, such as ratings, playlists, playcount, etc.
There's: iTunes: How to share music and video - http://support.apple.com/kb/HT2688 - about Music Sharing and Home Sharing.  Still, that just facilitates media transfer, it doesn't update the complete library which is more than just media.
PowerTunes - http://www.fatcatsoftware.com/powertunes/ (commercial software)  - doesn't really look like it does what you want.  I have a link for sync-o-tunes which does, but that won't work on modern Macs.

  • Is there a way to sync my iMac with my macbook?

The only answer I've found is about file sharing and backing up, which I don't really understand, so step by step instructions might be helpful.  I have the same 2 users on both computers, I just want to have the same desktop & files, etc.  Thank you!

there is no easy step by step or even an easy way to do it at all

  • Is there a way to sync my photos with filters applied to them?

So, I tried using my ipod touch 5G's camera tonight and took some photos with filters (not applying them after, but taking the actual photo with the filter). But when I tried to sync them to my macbook pro with Image Capture (I'm running Mountain Lion), it was only showing the normal photos. There are no filters applied to the ones that are showing up. I'd like to import the filtered versions, but how can I do this?
    Thanks. c:

You have to email them. When you take a photos, even using the filter first, the original photos (not filters) is the one that goes to your iPod's Camera Roll album and only the Camera Roll album photos get imported by image capture.
A third-party program like TouchCopy or Phone View might also work

  • Is there a way to get iOs 5.0 iTunes playlists on iPad2 to look like before?

How do I get iOs 5 iTunes playlists on my iPad2 to look like the pre-5 playlists? When I touch the "iPod" icon, my playlists now look like "albums" instead of a list on the left of various playlists. I don't like the "Album" look since several of my playlists are contained in playlist FOLDERS... Worked and looked great before 5.0...
    Thanks!

Sorry, there is no such thing as a 3rd Generation 8GB iPod Touch.
What some people don't know is that when Apple released Model MC086LL it was sold as a 8GB 3rd generation unit by some retailers but It really had the same guts as the 2nd generation model MB528LL with upgraded software. ALL so called "8GB 3rd generation" iPod Touch serial numbers pull up in the apple support system as a 2nd generation unit. Because of hardware limitations, 2nd generation units are not able to upgrade to ios5, therefore your last update will is version 4.21.
