Is there a way to sync my iphone without losing free music?
basically, i had an old computer with a great itunes library, with a LOT of mixtapes, which most of were free from the artist, the computer bricked so i couldnt transfer that music to a flash drive, it's still on my phone, but i dont want to sync to my new computer, lose all of it and have to spend maybe days re-downloading everything

iCloud does not sync which apps are installed on each device. Deleting an app off of one device has no effect on the others.

1) With iTunes and an USB cable.
2) Using MobileMe over the air. (I think it's replaced by iCloud soon [5th Oct.])

i have a screen with the apple logo on it and a bar underneath it. it has been this way for about an hour now. what does this mean and is there a way to reset the iphone without going into the store? it isnt showing in my computer or on the itunes page.
Try:
- iOS: Not responding or does not turn on
- If not successful and you can't fully turn the iPod fully off, let the battery fully drain. After charging for an least an hour try the above again.
- If still not successful that indicates a hardware problem and an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store is in order. -

Sorry but Forgot passcode for your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch, or your device is disabled - Apple Support covers all of the methods. Any chance that you had it set to automatically back up to iCloud and/or sync contacts to iCloud?
You can check on whether the contacts were synced by logging in to https://www.icloud.com/ and looking at the Contacts app there.
The "Delete Backups and turn off backups from your device" in the following link describes how you can use a computer to see if there is an iCloud backup of your phone. Follow those instructions to the point of seeing if the backup is listed but obviously you don't follow the rest of the instructions on how to delete. Manage your iCloud storage - Apple Support -
y Time Capsule is working fine with ethernet connection, but it is no longer working with wifi, probably because of my wrong setting; is there a way to reset wifi setting without losing backuped data? Thanks you all

Absolutely sure.. There is no connection at all.. reset is only the router side of the TC.
For the hard disk to be erased you need to access the airport utility disk page.. request erase and confirm the operation.

I am uncertain why if you have access you cannot change settings.. but that is why you reset things so any of those problems should be fixed.

Your i-device was not designed for unique storage of your media. It is not a backup device and media transfer was designed for you maintaining a master copy of your media on a computer which is itself properly backed up against loss. Syncing is one way, computer to device, updating the device content to the content on the computer, not updating or restoring content on a computer. The exception is iTunes Store purchased content.
