Is there a way to track application use on the iPad?

Is there is a way to track use of application on iPad devices?
For example, using the iPad to play games during business and/or client meetings.
The only thing I could find were crash dumps in the diagnostics & usage section, but my superiors would like to know if there were a way to see what was being done and when, similar to Windows event viewer, which would note when an application was used - how it was used doesn't matter, just the fact that it was in use during certain time periods.

No, if it doesn't have a sim slot. However, the model number you posted is for a Verizon iPhone 4S. That model does have a sim slot, & if Verizon unlocks the sim slot, it can be used on GSM networks outside of the US.

Is there a way to have applications run in the background after I log out?

New to Mavericks, have a new iMac after being on Leopard for years. After I log out, all the applications I had running stop and close. Is there a way to keep those running? It seems like logging out, and the applications stopping, would negate the ability to see any notifications on the lock screen. I have multiple users set up on this computer, is that the reason?

By definition, logging out means quitting all your processes. If you want to log in as a different user without logging out, see below.

Is there any way to play 1080p videos on the iPad with Retina Display without watching in full screen?

When I watch 1080p videos from iTunes on my iPad, they are stretched to fit the whole screen (with black borders) even though there aren't enough pixels in the video. This means that the videos are not crisp as one would expect on a retina display, but slightly blurry, as they are not pixel perfect. Is there any way to make the video smaller? Or does anybody know any 3rd-party apps which can do this?

There isn't as far as I can find - I've had a play around and can't find any way.

I'll stop my search for a way to import video files from my sony camera if I can't even edit them once I get them onto the ipad.

Unless there is a 3rd party app that provides for this, the answer is no.
Apple will have an iMovie app for the iPhone 4 for editing video that was captured with the iPhone 4, but not sure if the same will be available for the iPad.

Is there any way to recover trashed images on the iPad?

I transferred files from my camera to the iPad and unfortunately recognized 2 very much needed options on it.
1 is a trash bin to recover files and 2, a way to delete previously imported files without having to sync up with a computer. Once after the transfer was complete I started deleting individual files and somehow the entire import was trashed. I don't have access to iTunes or MobileMe at work so a backup wasnt possible. What I didn't expect was that the iPad somehow managed to delete all the images from the import but also on the card while tethered to the camera. So now I have to make an unpleasant phone call and explain how this happened.
I hope Apple sees this and will add these features on the 2nd version.

You don't have to purchase a mouse. You already have one, it's wireless and the only one that will work on an iPad.

Since the SHMMAX is obsolete we could not set it.
Also we are not able to find a way to current value that is used by system for SHMMAX(sysdef is not giving any value).
Is there any other way to find out it's current value?

Reset? Reset is just a reboot. If you have mobileme and find my iphone was activated before it went missing and it is on, and it has not been restored, and it is connected to wi-fi, then you could find the registered address of the wi-fi router to which it is connected.

You're comparing apples and oranges.
Dropbox is a "cloud" application that allows you to share files or folders of files with others.
Adobe Reader is a "reader" application that lets you view a PDF file.
Why are you trying to stop people from viewing a PDF in Reader? What's your workflow?

I recently had an Apple iTunes moderator explain to me that iTunes was NOT responsible for support or trouble shooting its product since it was free? ( I guess that I had always assumed that it was a part of what I was paying for when I bought an iPad). This is apparently the reasoning behind why customers have to depend on other customers to solve problems when they arise.So.... If they arent answerable to solving iTunes problems, because its a "Free product",is there an alternative to iTunes other than throwing away my iPad ?

No - flash is not supported, and probably never will be (http://www.apple.com/hotnews/thoughts-on-flash/ and Adobe havn't created a version that works on iOS anyway).
Browsers such as Skyfire, iSwifter, and Puffin 'work' on some sites, but not all judging by the reviews. You might also find that some sites (especially news sites) have their own apps on the app store which let you get some of the content that you want.
