Is there a way to transfer songs on iTunes from computer to computer?

Heres the story. I have all my songs for my 30 gig iPod on iTunes at my dads house and now that i got a computer at my house i need to put those songs onto my computer instead of my dads. I tried putting all the songs from my dads iTunes on the iPod and then pasting them onto my iTunes but i couldnt figure that out. Do you know if theres any way i could transfer the songs from computer to computer without having to import all my cd's over again onto my computer. If theres any way you could do this could you tell me?

The songs from the Sony MP3 player need to be imported into your iTunes library first before they can be synced or added to your iPod Classic.
Regarding the songs that didn't import into iTunes, what format are they in and what seems to be different from them compared with the tracks that did import?

is there a way to transfer songs from iphone to itunes

"The music sync is one way - computer to iphone.  The exception is itunes purchases.  Without syncing:  File>Transfer Purchases"
There is no way to transfer non-iTunes purchases from an iDevice to iTunes without using third party software.
It has always been very basic to maintain a backup of one's computer and the important data on it for events like this.  If a backup existed, it would be a simple matter of copying the content from the backup to the new computer.

  • Is there a way to transfer already purchased music from bearshare to itunes

My dad wants to buy an iPod, but has already purchased a lot of music from Bearshare. Is there a way for him to transfer that music to iTunes? Or will he have to re-purchase that same music from iTunes?
    Thanks!

I would have to say that is not completely true. I have had music already riped to Microsoft Media and instead of doing it over again and saving to iTunes, I just copied the file through iTunes and saved. You have to click yes on save in different format but it does work. I will have to agree that the sound quality is lacking. I think possibly from the format change alone. Sometimes iTunes can't seem to get their built-in equalizer working properly. Hope it helps.

  • Is there a way to transfer Game Center data from one account to another?

My appleID was created way back when it didn't use email as the ID. When Game center came out, i created a different account using an email(A) for game center. Now with iOS5, i was forced to changed my main appleID to use an email, thus i changed the game center appleID to a different email(B) (which i plan on abandoning) and use the email (A) as my main accounts ID.
Problem is, all the game achievements and stuffs I have obtained is associated to email(B) now in the game center, when i use email(A) which is now my main account, it is treated as a new game center account. Is there anyway i can transfer my data over?

I am having the same problem
    after the update to 5.0.1
I mean updating shouldn't become a task that everyone will dread

  • Is there a way to edit songs in itunes?

I am working on creating a dvd and am making slideshows of pictures from iphoto. I only want to use a portion of a song I have in itunes. Is there a way to edit the music? If so, how?
    Thanks

+"I only want to use a portion of a song I have in itunes."+
Go into Get Info > Options and set the Start and Stop times where you want them, then OK. Then, assuming it is an unprotected file, use the "Convert Selection to XXX" to create a new shorter file that only consists of the section you want.
You can either keep or delete the original (longer) file. If you are keeping it, you may want to go back into it and remove the Start and Stop.
