Is there a way to upload a .pdf file to use for my newsstand app?

I am making a newsstand app, but i would like to know if i can put a .pdf, or prefearable and InDesign interactive .pdf into xcode. Or is there another better way to put my magazine content into newsstand. Please Help.

Unfortunately, so far as I am aware you cannot change this tone. I must admit I don't fully understand your problem, I've tried it myself and can hear it from some distance away.

You can remove the assembly tree by doing a roundtrip in 3D Toolkit, here's how:
- start Acrobat 3D
- drag & drop a CAD file
- click on 3D Annot to activate
- right-click on 3D
- select 'Edit in 3D Toolkit'
- 3D Toolkit launches
- click in 'Scene Tree' panel
- right-click on top assembly name
- select 'Tools->Collapse Hierarchy'
- select 'File->Save'
- select 'File->Exit'

is there a way to prevent a PDF file from being forwarded? For example, im a personal trainer and if i send a client a plan via PDF file, i want to make sure that they cannot send it to anyone else. I read about how you can secure a file by creating an ID and then having the recipient create an ID as well, but i would like to make the orocess as easy as possible for my clients and not have to have them create an ID and then send it to me. is there a better way to block the recipient from resending the PDF?

As such there is no option to prevent the recipients from forwarding the pdf. However you can refer to this blog How do I prevent someone from forwarding a PDF?, it might be of some help.

I'm making the book for children and there is one chapter providing coloring pages. So I wish to attach pdf files that allow users to download it at the end of chapter so that they can print it out. When you say field, do you mean specifically a form field, such as a text field? Or is the information regular text on the page?

At any rate, you can use the Edit Text & Images tool (under Tools - Content Editing) to make changes to the file. You'll need to be a bit more specific about what you want to change if you want more detailed instructions.

Is there a way to load a movie file created using FlattenMovie() function ? I tried with NewMovieFromFile() , everything went well but the movie video track somehow had been corrupted.
The thing is I could nicely convert the original Movie data structure using an export component. But the one I recreated after saving disk did not converted well ( It produced only sound ). Plz help I seached all over the documents to unerstand 'How to use flattened files' but could not.

Pawcatuck Middle School uses a lot of technology in our 8th grade classes. We are a Google apps school, so all of our students have G-Mail accounts as their login for everything here at school. These students G-mail accounts only work for email within our domain, not the outside world. Is there a way to upload a file of their school user names and passwords so that my teacher can use Popcorn Maker with all students?

One way is to get the GoodReader app. It has a built in web browser that allows you to web surf and download pdfs into GoodReader. You can read them in the GoodReader app or open them in other apps that can read pdfs.

Is there a way to merge Static PDF files and PDF Forms

Hi All,
The issue I am facing is this: 1200+ PDF forms that employees
will need to sign. The docs are being created in MS Word, and all
have a standard signature block. We have prototyped using LiveCycle
Designer 8 to add fields to static PDF files (print Word files into
Acrobat, import into LiveCycle and paste in fields) but this is
pretty labor-intensive to use with a minimum of 1200 forms per
quarter.
The employee forms go into a CF8/Oracle library app (stored
as BLOBs) and served up for 7,000 or so employees to sign. Posted
data goes back into database.
Here is the issue:
Does anyone know any way to use some combination of cfpdf /
cfpdfform / cfdocument that will allow us to create ONE generic
signature block form, 1200 static PDF files, and merge them on the
fly?
<cfdocument> apparently does not allow PDF data to be
included with a <cfpdfform>, as I have tried outputting PDF
variables, toBinary(PDF variable), PDF served by <cfcontent>
and various other combinations.
(If the non-form data were HTML, we could easily output in a
<cfdocumentsection> of the cfdocument, and add the
<cfpdfform source="#genericForm#" action="populate"> and be
done with it. But, we can't.)
<cfpdf action="merge"> with a combination of a static
PDF file and a populated form results in a flattend PDF file with
no form data.
I am acutely aware that LiveCycle 8 uses the XFA schema, and
regular PDF documents use a different schema. And, this may
prohibit what we want to do.
If anyone has experience with CF8 PDFs and PDF forms, or has
any helpful thoughts, I would be appreciatively gross. Needless to
say, this is a six month project that must be live at the end
November.

As I mentioned on the other thread, the forms need to be
flattened. CFPDF cannot flatten LiveCycle forms, only Acrobat
Forms. The suggested solution was to use LiveCycle ES

Is your print service provider requiring a PostScript file? Normally, they would require PDF with any reasonably modern workflow.
The print to PostScript Printer and Device Independent option is very limited. If there is a particular device your print service provider is using and requires PostScript for, they should be providing a particular PPD for you and thus, allow you to customize the PostScript for that device.
