Is there a way to watch Hulu?

I am debating over whether to get an ipad or not, but what I would use it for a lot is to watch my favorite T.V. shows using hulu. I saw that it was 7.99 a month to get hulu and I can't spend that. Is there a way to watch hulu? Or is something new coming out that will allow that to happen? Thanks!

To expand a bit on David's answer, the only way you can watch Hulu on your iPad is with the Hulu+ app. It is $7.99 a month. The Hulu website itself uses Flash and will not work on the iPad. I highly doubt that Hulu is going to give up the revenue stream and make it free. But, anything is possible.
Best of luck.

If the TV Show is downloaded on your iPad, you don't need Wi-Fi to watch it.

  • Is there a way to watch a dvd on an iPad?

Is there a way to watch a DVD on an iPad?  Is there a device similar to a Kingston Wi-Drive that would play a DVD disc and allow it to be watched on an iPad?  It seems doable, but I don't know of an available device.  Any help would be appreciated.

    No.
If it's a non-commercial DVD(like a home movie), you can use something like Handbrake to convert it to mp4 which you can then import onto the iPad via iTunes. If it's a commercial DVD, your options are to purchase a digital copy or subscribe to a streaming service that you can use to watch it.

  • I'm trying to watch webinar on my ipad2 and can't because it wants flash.  Is there a way to watch a flash webinar on my iPad 2?

I'm trying to watch a webinar that is using flash.  Is there a way to watch this webinar on my iPad 2?

As you know, there is/will be no flash on a pad.  There are some alternate browsers avaiable in the store that route the content through their server and convert it to pad playable content.  I dont know how well they work, but are worth a try.  Skyfire is the most notable.

  • Is there a way to watch downloaded shows back to back??!! Help!

Is there a way to watch downloaded shows back to back??!! 'm a Mom to a toddler and the consecutive "play" option apple once had was a life saver when taking long trips in the car. I don't need to play movies, my son lacks the attention span to follow right now but disney junior shows keep him content with lots of singing and colors. I was able to press the "play" button on the screen and it would play all shows under a specific title. That button is now missing under the ios7.1.1 "upate". I don't know why apple would remove ths option but itabsolutley aggravating. Shouldn't updates make the iPad better not worse. The update was bad enough on the iphone but I'm so fed up with apple I'm thinking about switching to a better product. Apple really stionks now. What happened to being intuitive and user friendly?? DOES ANYONE KNOW SOME NOT SO OBVIOUS WAY TO PLAY SHOWS CONSCUTIVELY???!!! Please help!!
    Sincerely,
    A Desperate Mom

Not unless you can download the episodes to the iPod. Most of the TV show apps stream the content via WiFi so you need to be able to connect to the internet.
TV shows that you download in iTunes can be watched - after fully downloading - without WiFi.

  • Is there any way to watch vidoes not avaible in your country on youtube using an addon??

    like I said before,
is there any way to watch vidoes not avaible in your country on youtube using an addon?

    What do you mean nothing.
If it shows $0.00 then that's nothing, that's zero. If it shows truely nothing then you are not logging in with an account that had store credit. Or not logging in at all.
Click on your name so the triangle appears, then click on Account for more details.

  • Is there a way to watch a movie purchased through iTunes from my iPad on my AppleTV?

If I bought the movie through iTunes while using my iPad, is there any way to watch it on my TV using my AppleTV?

    Yes, indeed there is.
Ensure that airplay is not disabled on your Apple TV and that both devices are on the same network. Then when playing the movie on your iPad, select the airplay icon in the control bar, tap it, select the Apple TV from the contextual menu that appears. The movie should now stream to your Apple TV.

  • Is there a way to watch VerizonFIOS cable TV on iMAC using HDMI Input?

I have a 2014 iMac.  I recently moved and now have VerizonFIOS cable.  The output for the cable box is HDMI.  From what I can see on the back of my iMac, I have two Thunderbolt ports, and multiple USB 3 ports.  Is there a way to use the HDMI cable from the cable box so I can watch TV on my iMac?

Not directly, I recommend contacting Elgato.com and see which of their products suits your needs. Apple doesn't put TV tuners in their computers, that is why you need an Elgato device.

  • Is there a way to watch news videos from Yahoo?

    Hi,
I would like to watch the news videos that Yahoo posts, but when I try the window for the videos opens up but the video I've requested doesn't play. Is there a way to do that?
    Patrick

I contacted Yahoo technical support some time ago about the same issue. The response was short and sweet. The Yahoo video player only works with Windows and they have no plans to support the Mac platform in this matter. I am able to view the small videos on the my.yahoo.com personalized page because they are Flash Player based.
For whatever reason Yahoo appears to be particularly hostile to any platform other than Windows. I'm an SBC/Yahoo subscriber but I rarely use any of the Yahoo stuff because it doesn't work or only just sort-of works on my Mac.

  • Is there a way to watch videos from an external hard drive on my iPad?

I have a collection of home videos on an external hard drive.  Is there a way I can view those videos using my iPad?

Do you have a desktop machine running iTunes?
If so then yes, setup home sharing and you can stream anything in your iTunes library to your iPad.
    It works good.

  • Is there a way to watch another family members movies through family share without downloading the entire movie?

Before family share my kids were signed in under my apple ID. They had the ability to just stream whatever Disney movies they wanted that we owned. Now they have to download the entire movie to watch it? Seems a bit over kill to me. Plus those movies fill up their entire ipads.

Think of all this as two entities, 1. your Apple ID's and 2. Apple services (and by services I mean iCloud, iTunes, Home Sharing, Messages, FaceTime, Support Communities etc etc).
You can choose to use a different ID for each service, thereby creating the flexibility you are looking for.
For iCloud (which syncs contacts, mail, calendars etc) I suggest you each use your own ID, this means you will have your own contacts etc.
For iTunes, you might use separate ID's or you might both use the same one, I make no suggestion here because there are benefits to both ways. You may want to keep your music, movie, books and app purchases separate or you may want to unite them to avoid potentially paying for things twice.
For Home Sharing I suggest you use just one ID, it doesn't matter who's it is, so long as you both use the same one, this will ensure that any device using home Sharing can see and play the content from anyone's library on the same network (regardless of which ID it uses for iTunes) that is logged into the same home sharing account.

  • HT4437 Is there a way to watch a movie that I've purchased without going through this airplay malarky?

I bought  a movie. I'd like to watch in on the apple tv. There should be  a way of doing this without going through airplay, right?

It depends. Movies in the cloud was introduced but is currently US only and on certain titles. You could also use home-sharing.

  • Is there a way to watch Flash videos in a window?

I want to know if this is possible...
Because I want to watch like 4 flash videos at the same time...all i have to do is open and resize them so that 4 of them will fit in my screen...
I am using Windows Xp and Adobe Flash player 10
    TIA

I have several applications that can do this on my Mac, and at least two are available for Windows XP: RealPlayer and QuickTime Player, both are free downloads. To open FLV files in QuickTime for Mac, I installed a free codec device called Perian. There will probably be a similar codec available for XP.
After you open one video file, you have to choose "New Player" and then File > open or it will simply switch out of the first video and into the second.
