Is there a way to watch wmv on Safari?

I'm running Snow Leopard, QT7, Flip4Mac....
In Leopard 10.5, the site like http://mtv.uol.com.br/noar was looking for a 'embedded' wmv player, with no answer, so it launched on the QT's window via Flip4Mac. And that worked OK.
Now Safari doesn't launch QT7... only trying the QT X and nothing happens.
What can I do to force Safari to launch QT7 instead the QT X.
thanks

Try running Safari in 32-Bit mode. Close Safari. In Applications folder highlight Safari.app right click and Get Info select "Open in 32-bit mode" open Safari and try again.

If the TV Show is downloaded on your iPad, you don't need Wi-Fi to watch it.

  • Is there a way to convert .wmv's to .gif's with Photoshop Elements 10?

Is there a way to convert .wmv's to .gif's with Photoshop Elements 10?  If not, will an up upgrade to version 12 include something that will do this?

I have done it manually, and it takes a long time just for 1 patch.
Just the sample editing and naming takes hours!
    Autosampler automates this process.
You can define how many velocity levels you need.
If a midi CC changes the sound in an interesting way, you can have Autosampler send the controller in increments and sample that.
At the end of it, you end up with a finished EXS instrument.

  • Is there a way to watch a dvd on an iPad?

Is there a way to watch a DVD on an iPad?  Is there a device similar to a Kingston Wi-Drive that would play a DVD disc and allow it to be watched on an iPad?  It seems doable, but I don't know of an available device.  Any help would be appreciated.

    No.
If it's a non-commercial DVD(like a home movie), you can use something like Handbrake to convert it to mp4 which you can then import onto the iPad via iTunes. If it's a commercial DVD, your options are to purchase a digital copy or subscribe to a streaming service that you can use to watch it.

  • I'm trying to watch webinar on my ipad2 and can't because it wants flash.  Is there a way to watch a flash webinar on my iPad 2?

I'm trying to watch a webinar that is using flash.  Is there a way to watch this webinar on my iPad 2?

As you know, there is/will be no flash on a pad.  There are some alternate browsers avaiable in the store that route the content through their server and convert it to pad playable content.  I dont know how well they work, but are worth a try.  Skyfire is the most notable.

  • Is there a way to watch downloaded shows back to back??!! Help!

Is there a way to watch downloaded shows back to back??!! 'm a Mom to a toddler and the consecutive "play" option apple once had was a life saver when taking long trips in the car. I don't need to play movies, my son lacks the attention span to follow right now but disney junior shows keep him content with lots of singing and colors. I was able to press the "play" button on the screen and it would play all shows under a specific title. That button is now missing under the ios7.1.1 "upate". I don't know why apple would remove ths option but itabsolutley aggravating. Shouldn't updates make the iPad better not worse. The update was bad enough on the iphone but I'm so fed up with apple I'm thinking about switching to a better product. Apple really stionks now. What happened to being intuitive and user friendly?? DOES ANYONE KNOW SOME NOT SO OBVIOUS WAY TO PLAY SHOWS CONSCUTIVELY???!!! Please help!!
    Sincerely,
    A Desperate Mom

Not unless you can download the episodes to the iPod. Most of the TV show apps stream the content via WiFi so you need to be able to connect to the internet.
TV shows that you download in iTunes can be watched - after fully downloading - without WiFi.

  • Is there a way to watch Hulu?

I am debating over whether to get an ipad or not, but what I would use it for a lot is to watch my favorite T.V. shows using hulu. I saw that it was 7.99 a month to get hulu and I can't spend that. Is there a way to watch hulu? Or is something new coming out that will allow that to happen? Thanks!

To expand a bit on David's answer, the only way you can watch Hulu on your iPad is with the Hulu+ app. It is $7.99 a month. The Hulu website itself uses Flash and will not work on the iPad. I highly doubt that Hulu is going to give up the revenue stream and make it free. But, anything is possible.
    Best of luck.

  • Is there any way to watch vidoes not avaible in your country on youtube using an addon??

    like I said before,
is there any way to watch vidoes not avaible in your country on youtube using an addon?

    What do you mean nothing.
If it shows $0.00 then that's nothing, that's zero. If it shows truely nothing then you are not logging in with an account that had store credit. Or not logging in at all.
Click on your name so the triangle appears, then click on Account for more details.

  • Is there a way to watch a movie purchased through iTunes from my iPad on my AppleTV?

If I bought the movie through iTunes while using my iPad, is there any way to watch it on my TV using my AppleTV?

    Yes, indeed there is.
Ensure that airplay is not disabled on your Apple TV and that both devices are on the same network. Then when playing the movie on your iPad, select the airplay icon in the control bar, tap it, select the Apple TV from the contextual menu that appears. The movie should now stream to your Apple TV.

  • Using multiple desktops with a 4 finger swipe on a Mac Book Pro running Lion- is there a way that I can allow Safari open on several but not all??  Looks like I can set it for one but not others.  All, one, or nothing

Using multiple desktops with a 4 finger swipe on a Mac Book Pro running Lion- is there a way that I can allow Safari open on several but not all??  Looks like I can set it for one but not others.  All, one, or nothing

    Hey Eric,
Thanks for taking the time. Unfortunately no that does not solve it. Same as swipe it will get me there and it will show separate programs spaced out. The issue I am having is that all my open word files are bunched up in a pile on top of each other. I can see the edges of each one but I want them to be separated from each other enough that I can visually identify what file is what.
Again, thanks for trying, it is appreciated.

  • Is there a way to to set up safari for automatic private browsing?

Without having to select it from the safari tab each time you launch the app.?
    Automatically.

Is there a way to to set up safari for automatic private browsing... Without having to select it from the safari tab each time you launch the app.?
    Here's one option...
Follow these steps to ensure that Private Browsing is turned on automatically each time Safari launches:
    1) Under System Preferences > Universal Access, check "Enable access for assistive devices."
    2) Copy the code below and paste it into your AppleScript Script Editor, located in your Applications > AppleScript folder:
    *activate application "Safari"*
    *tell application "System Events"*
    *tell process "Safari"*
*click menu item "Private Browsing…" of menu 1 of menu bar item "Safari" of menu bar 1*
*if exists button "OK" of window 1 then*
*click button "OK" of window 1*
    *end if*
    *end tell*
    *end tell*
From the Script Editor's File menu choose Save As > File Format: application, and leave the Options unchecked. Place the saved script in your User > Library > Scripts folder, or in some other out-of-the-way place on your hard drive.
    3) Download and install Do Something When. Set up a new rule with Do Something When and configure it to open the newly saved AppleScript app when Safari launches.
Works for me, using Mac OS 10.4.11.
    Best regards... Good luck.

  • Is there a way to watch VerizonFIOS cable TV on iMAC using HDMI Input?

I have a 2014 iMac.  I recently moved and now have VerizonFIOS cable.  The output for the cable box is HDMI.  From what I can see on the back of my iMac, I have two Thunderbolt ports, and multiple USB 3 ports.  Is there a way to use the HDMI cable from the cable box so I can watch TV on my iMac?

Not directly, I recommend contacting Elgato.com and see which of their products suits your needs. Apple doesn't put TV tuners in their computers, that is why you need an Elgato device.
