Is there a way to zoom images in and out without changing the frame?

It is easy to move an image around within a frame without touching the frame, but I have not found a way to zoom in and out without touching the frame. I'm working with a lot of images (Indesign CS6 for PC) and I need to do this a lot. Thanks.

I don't know what is the correct terminology, but none of those things does what I want. With the Content Grabber I can move the image and see where it is going and place it where I want it, and the frame does not move and is not changed in any way. I want something that does exactly the same thing with "zooming" in and out on the image.
Shift-drag on the corners moves the frame. In the Transform panel, in the lower box, it makes the image AND the frame larger or smaller. Neither of these is what I want.
If I'm not using the right terminology, let me try to explain. If I have an image that is larger than the frame, then I can only see a small part of the image inside the frame. If I could zoom out on the image, I would then see a larger part of the image in the frame, but the frame would be exactly the same size and in exactly the same place (just like it would be when you use the Content Grabber). If I could zoom in on the image, then I would see less of the image but in more detail.
If I could move (like the Content Grabber) AND zoom without doing anything with the frame, then I could get the image just the way I want it inside an already-properly-placed frame in the most straightforward and simple manner, and be able to see what I was doing in the process. Dragging on the corners is basically trial and error because you have to go through several steps before you see the final result.

Write a custom carousel. Usually carousel components are just ULs that use something like jQuery to rotate through the LIs. The foundation carousel component is really just designed for some specific use cases. Generally I would just recommend rolling your own.

Go to icloud.com. Log in with your Apple ID & Password. Go to the Find My iPhone section. Perform a remote wipe of the device.
You don't have to have downloaded any app. You only have to have enabled the Find My iPhone option under Settings > iCloud. If you did not do that, then you cannot remotely access the device.
If that's the case, then change ALL of your account passwords; email, banking, etc. All of them. And then monitor those accounts very closely!

Is there a way to resize images easily and quickly?

I have a number of images that I have imported into the Library module. I want to resize a few of them so I can attach them to an e-mail. Is there an quick and easy way to do this in the Library or Develop modules without having to go to the Web module. I don't want to really alter the size of the originals, rather, I would prefer to make copies of these images and then "resize the copies. They are RAW images and I do have CS5 available if that would be an easier route to go. Any advice, insight or assistance is greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Is there a way to exclude title, heading and bibliography text from the word count in pages?

I've just got the newest version of pages.
The word count includes everything, from titles to endnotes - including the numbers in my sub-headings.
I used to use open office where you could select a style i.e. 'body tex't, and get a word count that didn't include every single word in a document.
Is there a way of doing something similar, or reseting the word count to only 'body text' so I know exactly how long my essays are?

Unfortunately, no version of Pages has this fine-grained control over document components and their word count, so the answer is no, regarding user changeable settings.
Programmatically, I just told AppleScript to count the words of body text in a currently opened Pages v5.2 document. The count matched the Pages word count for the document. So, no solution there either.

Is there any way to email photos from my 2g without compressing the file?

My wife's 2g stopped being able to sync to her PC some time ago. She emails photos to get them on her computer. The photos seem to loose resolution in emailing. Is there a way to get these photos without the degredation? All the wifi apps require iOS 4 which a 2g can't use and I can't restore the phone to reestablish sync because I can't back it up to begin with so we'll lose the photos. Anybody have ideas? I have 7280 all in one, 2 wireless laptops and 2 wired desk tops. At present I have to unplug the ethernet cable any time I want to use the wireless. Is there a way to set up the printer so it will recognize both. any help will be greatly appreciated

No.
Connecting the Ethernet will disable the wireless by design.
Each of these connection methods look like two different devices to the network (with different MAC addresses and potentially different IP addresses). Since there is just one printer, having what looks like two different devices on the network at once would lead to mass confusion for devices trying to access the printer.

iCloud is limited to 25,000 tracks, is there a way that I can move some tracks out and replace them with different ones? I would like to add some holiday music to the cloud but I have already reached the 25,000 limit. Can I manage the cloud so that I can remove other tracks that I have not listened to and replace them with a new set of tracks (not all 25,000 but maybe 2,000)? I want the ability to pick and choose what I have in the cloud, how can I do that?

Is there any way to turn off a PB display without sleeping the computer?

I'm using my PB G4 12" to stream audio content from the web. I just purchased 7 megabit DSL service and I use iTunes to play internet radio pretty much constantly. As a result my PB never goes into deep sleep mode anymore. The HD does seem to spin down and the display goes dim but as long as iTunes is running the display is always, at least partially, illuminated.
Is there any way to sleep the display fully without putting the remainder of the PB into deep sleep which would interrupt my internet radio stream?

Now, If you want to turn off the screen as well, you can just use the energy saver pref pane in system preferances. Here you will see the option of "set display to sleep after X min" And set computer to sleep after X min.
