Is there a way you could get a adapter which would allow you to plug a usb into your ipod to give you more memory
i was just wondering is there a usb adapter for the ipod which lets you plug a usb into the ipod which would let you increase your memory and you could store movies etc. on for long journeys
The behavior you describe is possible through a few limited applications of which I won't even mention names here, but the "creep" would need access to the device in question for at least 15-20 minutes to load the application, and as well it would show under the Options > Advanced > Applicaitons.
On the same note, I don't like discussions of this nature on the forums because I have seen too many times where the questioner is actually the one trying to find ways to retrieve or "spy" on the other. I am not accusing the questioner in this thread--I am not. But I have seen it asked too many times and upon further questioning more information comes out.
There are VERY few 'spyware' type applications for the BlackBerry on the market, and most of them don't even work well. So beware, even if one is loaded, it cannot be totally hidden.

I have forgotten my restrictions passcode and i dont want to lose any media on my iphone, or any apps, i am scared to back up my media for restore in future as these photos and videos mean a great deal to me, is there any way i could get around it? Thankyou if you can help; oh and last time i restored my iphone it didnt restore ALL the media only some and very improtant photos went missing :(
All media and apps on the device should already be in iTunes on the computer.
If you have forgotten the restrictions passcode, the ONLY option is to restore as new.
Then sync back any media, apps, contacts, etc back to the device.
You can not restore from backup as the restrictions passcode is included in the backup. -
I lost my redemption code to install Lion onto my new computer. Is there a way I could get it again? When I go to the "get the update" page, it says that my serial number already has a code. How do I find this code again?!
It is probably broken. You can try restoring it using Recovery Mode, but if that fails its time for a new phone. After all, it is 4 generations out of date. See: Recovery Mode

Hi everyone. I have a iPod nano 5th gen and every time I charge it, it comes up with the apple sign. It just won't turn on. I can restart it but it goes to the apple again. Is there a way I could get it replaced? I did win it in a game at penrith bowling .Any thoughts????????
Can you play the song in iTunes?

I bought a Mac Mini a week ago (10/7), and I did a little research on it. According to Apple, iLife, or any of the iLife programs, should have been included with the purchase. Is there a way to pick it up since it was not included? I have just updated to Mountain Lion 10.8.2.
Any thoughts?

download iPhoto, iMovie, and GarageBand from the Mac App Store.
Double-click the App Store icon in the dock.
Enter your Apple ID and password.
Click Purchases.
If you haven't previously accepted your bundled iLife applications within the Mac App Store, you should see your iLife applications appear in the Accept portion of the screen. Click Accept.
You may be asked for your Apple ID and password once again. Your iLife applications now move to the Purchased section. These applications are part of the software that came with your Lion based computer. Your account will not be charged for them. Click Install to compete installation of your applications.

i can copy about 200 songs onto my IPod video then on itunes it says that there is an error. what can i do to resolve this? i have deleted everything on it more than once.. i need help please?
What is the error message? Have you tried adding content onto your iPod in smaller batches, say a couple of hundred songs or so? Does the error always appear at a particular song?

I have a ipod touch 5 and when i was loading to my computer i chose to restore my data from my last ipod which did not have a camera. Then after all my music was uploaded i noticed that all the pictures i had taken on my new ipod had been deleted. I think it may be because i chose to restore my last ipod which no photos on it. I was wondering if there is any way to restore my lost photos?
If you backed up the iPod before restoring it then restore from that backup. See the restore topic of:

I am looking to get a new phone but I hate having only 2gb. So does anyone know how I can still get unlimited data?
Take over someone's line who has unlimited, but then you will not be able to get a 2 year contract for a phone.

If the device is activated, you do not need a SIM card. The only time you would need a SIM card is if you ever need to restore the device.
The SIM card does not need to be activated, it simply must be a valid SIM from the supported carrier. In other words, a deactivated AT&T SIM card would work in an AT&T iPhone.
Or you could just sell it and buy an iPod Touch... you might even make some cash this way. -
I accidentally washed my 6th generation iPod nano. It will turn on still but now it has a computer screen setup on the screen, is there a way I can get it back to normal? Check to see if they are on your calendar on icloud.com. If they aren't, all you can do is try to restore to your last backup, although it isn't clear that calendar events are included in the iCloud backup.
