You can't. Apple is not streaming today's event live; they haven't streamed any event live for at least a couple of years. For blog/twitter-style updates, try:

Is there a website to download the 3.01 update?

We have two iPhones and I'd rather just download it from a website and install it that way than to have to it for each one through iTunes. For 3.0 I found a link on here to download it. Anyone know where to find that link?

Is there really no chance to run your video software on Yosemite or update to a compatible version?
Not really. I am using iMovie HD 06 which will work with Yosemite but requires a "work around". Yosemite incorrectly identifies iMovie HD 06 as not compatible. But it is. (Yes, I have all the newer versions of iMovie, and I hate them. )
I have lots of Macs and lots of hard drives, so as I see it I could do one of two things.
1) I could save Aperture 3.5.1 on a external hard drive. Then I could download Aperture 3.6. (of course it won't run with Mavericks). Then, save Aperture 3.6 on an external drive and put Aperture 3.5 back where it was.
The problem with the above method is that I won't have a way of knowing that Aperture 3.6 "really works".
2) Clone my 10.9.5 hard drive with CCC, switch to Yosemite, download Aperture 3.6. and test it. Then go back to the original hard drive (with Aperture 3.5.1).
More work, but I would have confidence that Aperture 3.6 "really works".

Is there a website that rates the tracks on an album?

I have been updating my iTunes library and using Amazon.com to get album covers for cover flow and to help get song titles to complete some albums that i already have to make sure i get all the tracks i want. Amazon shows a rating for an album, which i think is helpful....but what about the tracks?
Does anyone know of a website that rates / ranks the individual tracks on an album or CD? I think this would be helpful b/c i have hundreds of albums with only one or two tracks on them, and i want to know what are some other good tracks to download from the album.

Allmusic rates albums on a five star system. Within an album, it gives recommended tracks a checkmark. That's the closest I know of to what you are looking for.

Trying to watch the live tv add on. have installed the windows media plug in, but it keeps saying in order to watch the channel need the plug in which I have already installed. Any ideas?

Every time I choose a channel, it will not load. A box opens and it says I need to download the windows media player firefox plugin. I have done this though

The Windows Media Player plug-in frequently installs in the wrong place. Try copying it to the correct place as instructed in the following article section to see if that solves your problem.

Problems watching BP live feed on Safari

I have been trying to watch the live feed from the gulf oil spill.
When I do it causes Safari to freeze up. And it leaves windows open that require some skill to close.

When I click on one of the links it immediately opens up two pages, one with a BP page, (clearly that could have a live feed window on it, but doesn't), and another with a grey page with a quicktime window attempting to load, and an unresponsive Safari in the meantime with the spinning beach ball. (Summer fun!)
When the live feed is up, after Safari is unresponsive while it loads, it will eventually play, although I will get erratic behavior like an occasionally spinning beach ball, with Safari temporarily frozen. The individual tabs cannot be closed. The only way to get out is to close both tabs by clicking the red button on the window, and immediately pressing ok to close all tabs before the beach ball starts spinning again.
I have tried opening these pages and links in Firefox and Chrome, and strangely when I click the live feed links, it automatically opens them in Safari anyway. ??? Is there a system setting somewhere where I could choose to open these kind of links in Quicktime player, (open url), instead of in my web browser, or to disable Safari as the default application to open this kind of file/command so i could try them in another browser?
FYI, I do have a couple of plugins installed, one is Perian, and another is flip4mac.

If you right or control click a clear space anywhere on the page that link opens, the press Command + F on your keyboard, type in QuickTime. You won't get a response. They aren't using QT as their video format. In fact, I cant' figure out which one they are using.

I can't find anything on their site or the HTML what video format they require for this. I have Silverlight / Fliip4Mac / QT / and Flash so it's not one of those and my Java is turned on in Safari/Preferences - Security.
If it's just the video you are looking for, you can watch BP trying to seal the cap at the CNN site.

When you click on the CNN / BP video you will be asked if you want to install a video enhancement plugin.. just click yes. The video will work after that.

Regarding the tracking the live progress of the cube processing.

Good Morning. As we are having multiple cube applicatons as part of our project, there are multiple cubes for which we need to evaluate the completion time for the cube processing.
By referencing one cube, the cube processing is taking one hour one day and some other day, It is taking an hour for completion. Beacuse of this reason, we could not be able to asses the time for completion of cube processing.
Is there any chance to track the live status of the cube processing?. Which means, the expected time for completion? How many measure group processing are completed and how many left?
Please provide your inputs on this.

According to your description, you want to monitor the progress of cube processing. Right?
In Analysis Services, there are several tools can help us monitor the processing performance, like SQL Profiler, AS Trace, Performance Monitor, etc. We can also use XMLA command or DMV to get the information. Please see:

However, if you want to get the exact live data of the cube processing, Olaf's script can be an effective solution to get the current processing status for some measures or dimensions. But some information still can't be traced, like expected time for completion,
etc. So for your requirement, it can't be fully achieved.

I cannot find a way to shut it off. I have tried reopening the BBC website, clicking on the live braodcast link and then closing it. I get 2 almost similtanteous broadcasts and when I click the close button only one switches off. Please help!

In the future, there won't be any Flash. Adobe, who makes it, has cancelled future versions for mobile devices like the iPad:

You should check if there is another way to get the live stream. For example, I sometimes watch online classes on a site that uses Flash for the video. But they also provide a non-Flash video stream that can be watched in an iPhone or iPad web browser, and an iOS app that you can also use to watch the stream.

I don't know the actual mechanics but I know that UStream is a popular streaming site for folks and organizatiuons to broadcast live video. So how hard could it be? You would have to investigate there what's involved.
One thing to keep in mind if you persue live streaming, and that's the bandwidth caps many (is all now?) isp's are imposing. For example comcrap and at&t have a 250GB limit. Not ever done streaming myself I wouldn't know if this imposes problems or not on top of any other daily stuff you might be doing, e,g, mail, browsing, downloading, etc.

Having issues with watching shopnbc live, from their website, on my iPad 4. I used to be able to watch it live, but for some reason, when I select the play button, it tells me "error loading file" . That's it. Anyone know a fix for this, or what may be going on here?

My guess is that they recently changed how the videos work. I logged in on my MacBook and the stream worked fine, but it is Flash content in a JW Player video player. From what I see on the website. This video player works with html5 as well as Flash so I'm not sure why it isn't working, unless the site has not updated the content for html5 and is only using Flash right now. But you should get the message on the iPad that the content is in Flash and can't be viewed on the iPad.
I tried it with three different browsers identifying as mobile and as desktop browsers and I get the same results as you no matter what I do. So my assumption is that the site content was recently changed and it has to be updated. But that is just a guess.
The message about the website having issues when I used iCab Mobile and identified as a desktop browser. The issue has to be on their end.
