Is there a WebUtil users guide?

I downloaded the webutil pakage and installed it without incident but I am currently trying to learn how to incorporate them into my forms. I have been unable to find good examples or reference material on the functions in this package. Is there a guide that is available that will help to explain how to use this utility properly?

All the documentation there is pretty good as far as installing the webutil package and telling you what functions exists, but there are very few how to's and there doesn't seem to be any documentation on how to call the functions themselves (what their dependencies are, what parameters are required or optional, limitations, ect ect). Is the documentation located at that link all there is?

is there developers' or users' guide for HTMLD DB? The tutorials are pretty on OTN, but it presents the product in a somewhat ad hoc way.

  • Scanjet 6300c manual or user guide

I was just given a Scanjet 6300c, and was able to download the software from HP support, but the links for setup and configure only provide a list of what is not supported, instead of the documents that should be there.
Anyone have a copy of the manual or user guide ? Anything that explains how to scan slides with the triangle would also be great.
    TIA

    Hello @netnoodle,
    Welcome to the HP Forums!
I understand you would like a user guide for the Scanjet 6300C. I will do my best to assist you! Unfortunately, there are no users guides for this particular Scanjet on the HP website here.
Now, I will provide the Scanjet 5590 user guide. This does explain how to scan slides, but the steps could be different. Give this a try to see if this works.
    Sorry for the inconvenience.

  • Trex 6.0 User Guide?

I am not sure what I am missing/doing wrong but I have configured TREX and KM in my SAP Portal 6.0 SP2 but not sure how to use it?!
I can monitor it from the portal and create indexes but I have no search input screen etc.
I have followed the Admin Guide for Portal and under KM is a brief TREX config setup but nothing else.
Is there an Admin/User Guide specific and only for TREX?
    Thanks for your time,
    Chris

    Hi Chris,
you should also have a Search field in the portal's header. This, by default, searches over all previously created indices. If there is no Search field in the header, please check the header's configuration (Portal Content, not KM configuration).
Through the flexible UI of KM, you can change as well the search field's occurence as the look of the advanced search options and the search results page.
Advanced search should be an option, after you have initiated an initial search from the portal header search field.
    Documentation:
End user => use KM documentation at http://help.sap.com
The visibility of search fields in the UI of Ep-KM is NOT controlled by the TREX engine => TREX documentation will not help. Check the KM documentation's part about the UI and the Portal's about configuring the header
    Regards,
    Karsten

Is there a way to upload music that I have saved on my computer it my ipod touch or is uploading from iTunes the only way to upload music? I didn't see anything in the user guide on how to do this.

These two articles explain how to put music from your PC into iTunes and then all you need to do is sync it with your iPod

  • Is there a user guide for Robohelp 7?

I've used Robohelp before, but now am faced with having to create a stylesheet.  I've tried using the Help but it seems to make assumptions that I've done created .css before.  For example, the kinds of things that I can find no information on:
What is the Design Editor?  I can't seem to find it to be able to create an external style sheet.
In the "Create a style sheet" topic, you must first click style sheet, but the style sheet button isn't enabled.
Bottom line: I'm looking for all inclusive documentation that will give me concepts and procedures for creating a style sheet.
    Thanks for your assistance.

Thank you so much for sharing these resources with me.  I have viewed
Adobe's tutorials on a number of topics and where their documentation
falls short of the mark, the tutorials are excellent.  I can't wait to dig
    into them.

Is there a user guide for Robohelp 7?
    Hi..
I COMPLETELY understand your frustration, because i've just gone through
    the same ordeal.
Its impossible to figure out how to import frame files into RH and how to
use style sheets from the on-line help, because as you said, you only get
bits and pieces of information out of context, and many of the
descriptions of settings don't explain what they are for/do. Its the same
old paradox; the only way you can understand the on-line help is if you
already understand the product; in which case you wouldn't need the online
    help.
What finally helped me to get a basic grasp of the mysteries of style
sheets, etc. was the tutorial: "Adobe Technical Communication Suite
    Getting Started series - Part 3: FrameMaker 8 and RoboHelp7: …" @
http://www.adobe.com/devnet/robohelp. (it runs about an hour and a half).
It explains how to enter and apply custom style sheet settings, mapping,
etc. and should probably clear up your confusion.
The only thing I STILL not certain about though, is what relationship, if
any, template (.htt) files have to do with anything, and whether they
relate to .css files. So i'd appreciate it if another poster can shed some
    enlightenment on that.

  • Is there no User Guide for Premiere Pro CS6?

I am a FCP7 refugee trying to decide between Avid and PP CS6. After waiting for a few weeks for it to be available, I have been lookiig through the PP CS6 Help PDF. I was surprised to see that it is not a complete reference guide documenting the features of the application, but instead a mish-mash of short descriptions, with numerous links to videos, documents from earlier versions, and other external locations where one has to go to get the actual information--not very helpful as a guide to the application. Is there actually no comprehensive user guide from Adobe in a single document or PDF? Or is the only way to get information about the application to navigate through all these disjointed materials?
If there is such a user guide, I would very much like to know where I can find it. If there isn't, I would have to count this as a very big factor in favor of deciding to go with Avid. This is particularly true given the absence of any current third-party books on PPro CS6, although such books are hardly a substitute for a well written and comprehensive user guide, something which is also true of the help PDF.

    Groppler wrote:
Since the links are to the on-line CS6 help and the PDF version of that help, both of which are a collection of materials concerning CS5, CS5.5 and CS6...
Yes, for CS6, new information was added to the CS5/CS5.5 documentation. We had to go this route because we are working with brand new documentation software. There simply was not enough time to integrate the software and complete a whole new set of documentation. Believe me, it was enough of a challenge integrating the old system with the new one--in addition to creating the articles for new features, and the connective tissue between them.
There is only one person that does the docs for Premiere Pro, and that is me. I have limitations and guidelines I must follow, so I hope you understand.
    Groppler wrote:
...with links to external sources you have to go to for information, I guess the answer to my question is that there is no true user guide for Premiere Pro CS6 that one can go to for comprehensive information about the application...
No, this is the Help. It has BOTH the comprehensive details about the software and community content where you can see how people are actually using the software. If the Help is lacking details about any feature, please alert me and I will include those details. I work directly from the engineering documentation and include every detail I can about any feature.
Since my time is limited, I don't always have time to make supplemental materials like video tutorials, or articles. That's why I link to them. The crucial info is included in the docs, the community content is material that I personally approve as helpful and supportive to the documentation.
    Groppler wrote:
...without sorting through irrelevant information or navigating to all these third-party sites to see if they have information you are looking for.
None of the community content is irrelevant. I sort through it all very carefully. Community content is supportive and helpful to users. It should not be necessary to sort through these tutorials as the info should be right in the docs. Community content is supplemental. If you don't find the information you were looking for in the docs themselves, create a comment right on the Help page and I'll see to it that it gets fixed ASAP.
    Groppler wrote:
I am quite surprised by this and think the absence of a real user guide is a significant shortcoming of Premiere Pro, not shared by other products on the market.
It is a real user guide. I'm sorry you don't feel that way. If you want a doc with only Premiere Pro CS6 info in it, I can understand that request. Unfortunately, that was impossible for this round.
If you have any suggestions for the next round of Help documentation, a better place than here would be the Community Help forum. Please voice your concerns there, as the people that actually make decisions about Help are hanging out there.

  • Is there a User Guide for Mac Mail in Lion OS

There seems to be an major hole in the MAC Mail application when you compare the utility against Outlook and Entourage. Also when using it on the iPad, it lacks the ability to attach a document or photo to your email you send to someone? In addition, how do you create a sub-folder so that you can organize your email into categories or specific interests.
Is there a user guide somewhere which may show all of the features and capabilities without having to struggle trying to find how to use the Apple Mail Application as a real communication vehicle?
    Thanks
    Fran Linnehan

None of this really is germane to this forum, which is for questions about the communities themselves, but answering quickly:
There seems to be an major hole in the MAC Mail application when you compare the utility against Outlook and Entourage.
And what hole would that be? You might want to ask specific questions in the Mac OS X Lion forum if you are looking for a feature you can't find.
Also when using it on the iPad, it lacks the ability to attach a document or photo to your email you send to someone?
With iOS things are rather reversed from the usual procedure on a computer. You don't use the Mail app; you open the document in an app that has an "email" function, which many apps do.
In addition, how do you create a sub-folder so that you can organize your email into categories or specific interests.
It depends on your email account type. Again, ask in the Mac OS X forum.
    Regards.

  • Is there a hyperlinked index for Aperture 3 user Guide?

The hyperlinked User Guide for Aperture 2 was so easy. How do you find information quickly without an index in the Aperture 3 guide?

I read the PDF document with Preview. Searching is easy, and the contents and cross-references are linked. But it's true that there is no index of terms. Kinda moot with a search feature available, no?

  • Is there a ipod touch user guide for ios 6

I am doing ths for my wife and me if and when I replace my ipod touch, we would like to know if there is a new user guide out yet?

Not yet. There probably will be by the time the 5th-generation iPod touch ships. If you're upgrading your current iPod, the iPhone manual might be of help since many of the features and settings will be the same, though not all:
iPhone User Guide (For iOS 6 Software)

  • Is there a Yosemite manual/user guide I can print that I don't have to pay for?

Is there a Yosemite manual/user guide that I cad download and print sections if I need to?  They charge you for the ones in the apple store.
    thanks

    Yankeedownsouth,
if you wanted you could look at the information on http://www.apple.com/support/osx/ Its not really a Manual/User Guide per say. but its free and it has a lot of information about your mac. It also links you to very informative information.
    Examples of information found:
Information for those new to mac:
    http://help.apple.com/osx-yosemite/whats-new/new-to-mac/#/darf5cbf2bc7
    Changes from Mavericks:
    http://help.apple.com/osx-yosemite/whats-new/from-mavericks/#/dar08446b32f
Apps from your mac, what they are used for, and links to their help info.
OS X Yosemite: Apps included with your Mac
Also a really great resource for finding how to do stuff is the ( Help ) menu located in all the apps.
    Hope that helps,

  • Is there a user guide for 1.9a somewhere?

  • Is there a user guide for OSx photos

I have checked the Apple website and there are a lot bullet points and a "getting started" for OS X photo, but I would like a comprehensive user guide. When I'm using the product I get prompted to take one action or another, but I don't know all the repercussions of taking a given action. I've used the help screen, but I'd rather read a manual.
Does anyone know where, or if, I can get a user guide, or do I just do trial and error?

    Perhaps this book can help:
I have not read this book yet, but the series is usually very good:
"Photos for Mac: A Take Control Crash Course," penned by Jason Snell, formerly of Macworld and now at Six Colors.
    Buy it for $10 > http://tid.bl.it/photos-crash-course-cart
