Is there a "whitelist" capability on the 3G?

Until I know that I can program my phone to not ring at certain times, except for a few select numbers, I'll just wait until MyProfiles gets the unlock for 3.0 and then seriously consider the iPhone 3Gs. From what I read, MyProfiles lets you control these things in a lot of ways, such as whitelists and blacklists. I work night shift and my landline service has a service called "Quiet Time." I activate it, set up a schedule and program 5 numbers that will ring during those times. Right now that's the only thing keeping me from getting a cell phone because I'd have to get rid of my landline because of the expense.

It is easier than that. Just add your contact to your Favorites list (select contact and click on Add to Favorites). All you need to do it touch the name and the call is placed. : )

Yes Vudu streams. iTunes does not. If you buy or rent a movie on your computer through the iTunes store, then you are legally entitled to transfer that movie to your digital device as long as that device is under the Same Apple ID used to download it to the computer, and is authorized to view the content. Usually this is the case if your device is synced with iTunes on the computer This is legal and covered by the terms of use of the iTunes store.
If your rent a movie on your computer you can also transfer it to your iPad but it will be removed from the computer as rentals can only exist in one place at a time. When the rental period expires the movie will be automatically removed from your computer or device, wherever it is when the rental period expires.
If you buy a movie on your iPad these can be transferred to your computer using the Transfer Purchases button on iTunes on your computer while the iPad is connected to it. Rentals on iPads or other mobile device cannot be transferred and must be watched in the iPad or device that download them.
All of these methods through the iTunes store download the complete movie to the device or computer, so no internet connection is required for watching at a later date.
Rentals have a 30 day life as long as they haven't begun to be watched. Once the movie has been started then it has a 48 hour expiry period. That is you must finish watching the rented movei within 48 hours of rental as after that it is removed from the device. You can watch it as many times as you want in that period of time though.

There is no known malware capable of infecting an iOS device, unless it has been jailbroken. Due to the security that prevents malware, real anti-virus software on iOS is not possible, so none exists.
As to the problem, I'm unclear on exactly what you're seeing. What exactly does it mean to get "kicked off your sites?"

Is there a way to mute the background music in a slideshow so the audio of an included video can be heard?

I am running iPhoto 11 version 9.4.2 (710.42) on a MacBook Pro. Some of the slide shows I have developed have videos included along with photos. I have added background music to these slide shows with the sideshow music selector. The videos have audio that I want the viewer to hear, however the background music continues to play and the video audio is hard to hear, and when there is music in the audio of the video, the two musical pieces tend to clash. Is there a way to mute the background music so the audio of the video can be clearly heard?

That's called 'ducking' and no, not with iPhoto. You need something with more control of the soundtrack.

It's difficult to compare these apps. They have differences in capability - some are driven off templates. some aren't. Some have a wider variety of transitions. Others will have excellent audio controls. It's worth checking them out to see what meets your needs. However, there is no doubt that Final Cut Pro X is the most capable app of them all. No. Even if you found the serial number, it wouldn't help; there is no capability to remotely track or disable an iPod other than the iPod touch.

I have a site which has a WAVE-574-K9 installed and the CIFS cache is currently running close to the maximum disk size. v
The VB capability of the device is not currently required, so I would like to know if there is any way to free up the portion of disk space which is currently reserved for VB capability & reassign it to the CIFS cache?

Yes.
Go to System Preferences > Network.
At Show:, select Network Port Configurations.
Make sure the Internal Modem port configuration is selected.
Go to System Preferences > Print & Fax.
Under the Faxing tab, if you want to receive faxes select Receive faxes on this computer and choose your preferred settings for receiving.
You can also select Show fax status in menu bar.

Choose File > Print, and then choose Fax PDF from the PDF pop-up menu.
Type the fax number in the To field, or click the Address Book button to the right of the To field to select a number.
If your phone system requires you to dial a prefix for an outside line, type it in the the Dialing Prefix field.

An IMAP configuration will NOT allow one to create mailboxes on one's iPad - from personal experience - one requires a POP account. Briefly, the Apple Mail app for iOS 6 (iPad, iPhone) has no capability to add mailboxes to the original ones that are included as part of the app - if (and only if) the email account is configured as IMAP. So... Keniff is correct: One must go to one's laptop/desktop, open a browser, and add the mailboxes desired for your IMAP account. Unfortunately, one seems to have little choice for the account configuration. Apple's iOS does the configuration quite automatically with one's account provider. For example, my Charter mail is IMAP while my Gmail account is POP. The latter allows edit/add for new or existing mailboxes on my iPad 2.

I have a group with table layout style and I want to set the rowSelection property of the generated table to "multiple" but it seems that there is no way to do that from JHs unless using the group as LOV, which is not desired for me. Here is the code which sets this property in tableGroup.vm :

No, but if you want to have multiple selection, there is typical a custom action you want to apply to the selected rows, which cannot be defined in the Jheadstart Application Definition editor.
However, it is perfectly fine to use a custom tableGroup.vm template and enable multi-selection.

How do you access published playlists from the iTunes Store (am using iTunes 10.7 on a windows 7 machine)? There is no link on the music page

Secondly you seem to be getting storage capacity/app size mixed up with RAM. They are two different things. The 64GB you have on your iPad is for actual storage of content whether it be apps, books, music, podcasts, video etc. RAM is the volatile memory that is used during the running of the iPad including the apps.
The system requirements including the amount of RAM needed to run are not simply because unlike computers all iPads are the same regards the internal system specs. The only differences being the actual storage capacity and whether they have 3G capability or not.
If you get an error message regards lack of system memory or RAM then doing a reset may help clear this problem. Unfortunately some developers do not optimise their apps properly for the iPad and it's not the first time an app has not run or crashed due to a lack of RAM. The best thing to do is to report it to the developer using the link on their iTunes app page.
Regards memory leaks these do occur with both software on computers as well as apps on the iPad and iPhone. These are also due to badly designed apps or software and would need to be fixed by the developers.

None of the spreadsheet apps that work with Excel files offer anything like full native support in iOS. Apple's own Numbers app pairs down features for the iOS version. The hardware is simply not up to what a true computer is capable of, so all apps like QuickOffice, DocumentsToGo, Numbers and so forth offer reduced features from their computer-version counterparts.
I think a custom app will be your only real choice, be it a fully standalone app, or something built in filemaker or some other db-based platform.

If you first select the calendar on the left, so that its background is highlighted blue/grey, when you make a new events they should be added to that calendar.

Try starting Aperture with the command and option keys held down. You'll get 3 options.
Try each, starting at the top, in order, checking after each to see if it fixes the issue.
