Is there a work around to use two Apple IDs across and iPhone and a MB Pro?

iPhone 5 and Macbook Pro Retina late 2013. iOS 8.1 and Yosemite.
It's a company iPhone and a personal MBP. Phone has an Apple ID associated with company credit card and MBP personal Apple ID with personal credit card.
There is a cross platform issue as you cannot use two Apple IDs in Facetime and Messages. Therefore my iPhone and MBP do not interoperate correctly, for example, a text message in messages on the iPhone will not appear in Messages on the MBP. Similar situation for FaceTime. When you try to enter the second email associated with the second Apple ID on either platform you get "cannot verify because email is already in use".
Any work arounds?
This is something Apple should have really anticipated as iPhones become more widespread in corporate use.

Thank you for your continued interest and research on my behalf on this situation. I was on the phone with Apple support (at no charge) for over an hour yesterday. Becasue I have what they cal a "vintage computer"(7 1/2 years old), there are some additional issues. We thought it was solved at teh end of the phone call but aparently it was not. I am going to call them now and see what else can be done. I will keep you posted.

Hi, I got two free app code cards for the app, Fast Camera, when at a Starbucks recently. I put one on my wife's iphone and registered it to her Apple ID/PW. Then I put the other on my phone and instead of registering it to my Apple ID/PW I mistakenly entered my wife's Apple ID/PW again. So it's on my phone and it works, but when in iTunes where I can see the app in INFO in the Apple Store, it displays it with HER ID--an ID she currently uses on her phone. Her phone and apps are fine. But how can I change this so my copy is under my Apple ID? This will help if and when I need to restore/recover my phone, etc. Thanks.

Thanks for the quick and thorough reply. Wow, what a pain! You'd think there'd be a way. For me it is almost worth it to just delete it and re buy the app (now $2.99) because it's a pta to deal with if and when updates, upgrades and any other unforseen issues arise (which they actually have since I got it--and I sat here for a while trying to deal with it). Well, now I know... don't make costly typos! Geesh

Thanks - but it is not that simple. the sim cards are in the right phones. my phone recieves calls most of the time, but if it not available then my wife's phone picks it up. we have turned off blue tooth and hot spots and turned phones on and off and this seems to temporarially solve the issue, but then it reoccurs. it did not happen immediately after her sim card was in my phone - it is more recent. we do not have call divert on. it is just odd.

Using two apple IDs on one Itunes account

I recently purchases a ipad for my 86 year old mother. I want to also add music to it that I have cd's for. She now has an Apple ID of her own and I have my own Apple ID. The problem is this, when I log out of my itunes account and log in as her, I can still see all my music library as her. How do I see NOTHING under her account, until I actually load in music for her. Then can i sync her ipad using my OWN Mac and have it appear on her ipad? I have not enabled home sharing at all. Thus an Apple ID is the same as the iTunes account.
Did you mean can yu use more than one Apple ID on one iPod because yuo know the answr is yes.

Yes. I use the same ID on both devices. That way you can download all content to all of your devices and only have to purchase one time.

I bought my new Mac through our company and created a new ID for it, thinking that I am likely in future to need other Apple products for the business, but I already had an ID for personal use, as does my husband, who also works for our company.
I understand that for us to receive our emails separately we need to use our personal IDs for iCloud, but althought the vendor confirmed it was possible, I did not understand from him whether it was a good idea from a business point of view for us to use the business ID for Store Purchases.

When prompted, choose Merge. This will upload your data to the new account. Note: this will not migrate your photo stream photos. You will need to save these prior to deleting the existing account.

Yes, you can mingle content from multiple IDs in the same iTunes content library. You just need to authorize the computer to use content from each ID.

There's no tip that I am aware of. There are two ways to use the same Apple ID on different phones. First, on each phone you can just select or deslect the way that phone receives messages in Settings/Messages. But the better way is to create a new Apple ID and use it just for iMessage. Leave the phones sharing an Apple ID for the stores and content, but in Settings/Messages log out of that ID on one of the phones, and log in with a new Apple ID just for iMessages on that phone.

How do I run two Apple IDs with one computer and sync music content?

I have a single PC which I have added all of the music to one my log in. My wife and I have Iphones and I want to run separate accounts for itunes, but sync music content from the single source to both phones. Whenever I have tried to do this in the past, it starts to sync all app to both phones. I tried to therefore have separate log ins on the pc itself, but when I have tried this, the music content does not update on my wifes itunes library, after I have added music to mine (ie imported a CD), even though I have linked my wife's music library for itunes purposes to my music folder (hopefully that makes sense!!). Can anyone help as this is driving me mad, otherwise I will just have to run from my account and delete all of my wifes apps etc whenever I sync my phone, and vice versa.

I am unable to download purchases from my icloud to my itunes library on the pc. I get an error message saying I can only download past purchases on this computer with just one apple i.d every 90 days. Any ideas?

Philly_Phan is absolutely right if you intend to be the primary user of both devices. Is that the case or will one of the devices be used by someone else with whom you want to communicate over Facetime and iMessage?
