Is there a workaround for adobe flash player .

There are some websites that require Adobe Flash Player in order to navigate the site. Is there a solution to this problem ?

Adobe has not made a version of Flash for the iPad.

I can't use adobe flash player in safari is there anything I can use that will work the same

No Flash for iPads, iPhones, or iPods
Here's why there's is no Flash available for iDevices or other mobile devices. Adobe was unable to provide a product that was suitable to the needs of battery powered mobile devices used for Internet browsing. Existing Flash technology used too much memory, ate battery life, and was buggy. Simply put Flash did not work well on mobile devices.
Apple's Steve Jobs led the escape from Flash dependency when Apple introduced the iPhone, and later introduced the iPad. There was a hue and cry over the omission. Time proved Jobs was right on target.
So this is why there is no Flash for your iPhone or iPad or iPod nor for most SmartPhones. Flash has been abandoned by many sites in favor of supported technologies such as HTML5 or by providing their own custom app.
Here is Steve Jobs official comment on his momentous decision to omit Flash from iDevices: Steve Jobs on Flash.
Here is Adobe's later announcement to cease development of Flash for mobile devices: Adobe on Mobile Flash.
Now, you are not necessarily out on a limb. There are some apps that can display some Flash, but don't count on there ability to display anything using Flash.
Apps that can display some Flash from the Web:
    Puffin
    SkyFire
    Photon Flash
    Browse2Go
    iSwifter
Also, note that many sites that use Flash provide their own app for accessing their material. So check with your favorite sites and find out if "there's an app for that."

  • Is there a replacement for Adobe Flash Player?

An Adobe vulnerability was recently used to access many U.S. Government sites including my own personal Information data, along with thousands of others. Is there any way to break the Adobe monopoly? For more info on the break in, see

Thank you very much. It may take me some time to evaluate the Shumway project, but I truly appreciate the opportunity you have provided me.

  • Is there an alternative to adobe flash player for the iPad?

Is there an alternative to adobe flash player for the ipad2?

No - flash is not supported, and probably never will be (http://www.apple.com/hotnews/thoughts-on-flash/ and Adobe havn't created a version that works on iOS anyway).
Browsers such as Skyfire, iSwifter, and Puffin 'work' on some sites, but not all judging by the reviews. You might also find that some sites (especially news sites) have their own apps on the app store which let you get some of the content that you want.

  • I cannot load an app for Adobe Flash Player on my iPad.  It says not supported on this equipment.  Is that right?  If so, is there a recommended sub that will satisfy that requirement?  Some programs say "adobe flash player"

I cannot load an app for Adobe Flash Player on my iPad.  It says "not supported" on this equipment.  Is that right?  If so, is there a recommended sub that will satisfy that requirement?  Some programs specifically say "adobe flash player"

    What App? From where?
You can only get Apps from the App Store. nowhere else.  If you are trying to download form a website you cannot do it.
If you need Flash Support for websites, you can download a flash supporting browser from the App store.
    Examples are:
    Puffin
    https://itunes.apple.com/en/app/puffin-web-browser/id406239138?mt=8
    Photon
    https://itunes.apple.com/us/app/photon-flash-player-for-ipad/id430200224?mt=8
There may be others in the store.

  • FOUND A FIX FOR ADOBE FLASH PLAYER 11.9.900.152

I have Windows 7, 64bit and Internet Explorer 11 installed.  I found the fix for Adobe Flash Player after 2 days of doing everything.  I thought that the fix should be something very easy and it was.  I spent 2 full days doing all kinds of ridiculous things, i.e. uninstalling, reinstalling, restore computer, deactiving XActive, reactivating, changing stuff under internet options, etc.  The problem was Internet Explorer 11 update caused Adobe Flash Player not to work or recognize the flash player, or installing a new router caused it not to work.  Websites kept displaying messages to download Adobe Flash Player when I already did.  There appeared to be a conflict where some videos played and other did not.  Youtube did not work anymore.  All the problems that other people posted under these forums happened to me.  I could not play the games I was playing before, etc.  Anyway, I am NOT a tech person and understand little and almost gave up when by accident I found the fix and EVERYTHING works without rebooting anything, uninstalling or reinstalling etc. as all the people in the forums posted.  Everything was so complicated!!
THE FIX:  Go to Goodgle Chrome browser.  If you don't have it, download it.  The Adobe Flash Player is included in this browser.  Anyway, at the very top RIGHT HAND SIDE there are lines in a square formation.  Click on that and go to SETTINGS.  Go to very bottom and click on SHOW ADVANCED SETTINGS.  SCROLL DOWN TO THE VERY BOTTOM and click on RESET BROWSER SETTINGS.  After I did that, EVERYTHING WORKED!!!!!!!!!!! Youtube worked, my game worked in BOTH GOOGLE CHROME AND INTERNET EXPLORER 11.  It was like a miracle and  a simple fix.
I hope I can save some people ALOT of aggravation and frustration.  Adobe should have this fix displayed PROMINENTLY EVERYWHERE if it is indeed this simple.  Let me know if this helps.  All I know is that I had the same issues as everyone else in the forums and now it is all fixed.  I have very limited knowledge, almost none.  It just seemed that something was blocking the videos from coming up.

Thanks Mike.  I'm not sure what I'm doing but I also re-downloaded the flash player and I got YouTube videos to play again.  I have IE11 that I tried to uninstall (it won't let me) so I had to use a restore point, so videos I noticed in yahoo.ca can't play but I read lots of people having issues with this.  But, by using a restore point, and re-downloading the flash player (a couple of time until it took), I got Youtube and my game back on IE11.  I plan to use Chrome Google though after this experience as everything works there

  • What is Apple's substtute for Adobe Flash Player on iPad?

What is Apple's substtute for Adobe Flash Player on iPad?

Until Adobe can develop a version of Flash that works for mobile devices that is stable and doesn't hog memory resources or ***** up battery life, there isn't much anyone can do about this!
Android devices claiming to run Flash are having these issues, too. Steve Jobs and Apple simply won't allow Adobe Flash to with their mobile hardware/software with the state of affairs with Flash, now. If Adobe has a breakthrough and can develop a version of Flash or some sort a content providing software that works and plays well with mobile devices and platforms, the situation may change. For the foreseeable future, Flash is going to be absent on current and future Apple mobile devices.
On another note, PPC Macs are obsolete technology that is, at least 6 years old. OS X 10.5 was the last Mac operating system to still support PPC Mac architecture. This OS is , at least, 3 years old. OS X 10.4 Tiger is, at least 5 years old.
You can't expect either Apple or Adobe,or any hardware/software manufacturer/developer, at this time, to keep supporting older technologies. Especially, anything 5 or 6 years old or more. It's just not cost effective or practical.
Technology marches on. There are many of us, probably, still using PPC Macs, including myself. We're all in the same boat.
At some point, we're going to have to play catch up to the latest and greatest to be able to stay current on the grid and to be current with new technologies, hardware, and software.
I do not think this is a rational reason to jump ship on a company who, arguably, makes the best technology hardware/software integrated devices and computers in the world.

  • HT2128 I keep on getting updates for Adobe Flash Player.app, are these safe to download?

I keep on getting messages to download updates for Adobe Flash Player.app however, I always get a warning message since it is an application downloaded from the internet and the question "Are you sure you want to open it?" Are these safe to download, or shall I cancel it? Perhaps it is best to go to the Adobe site? Any recommendations? Thank you very much.

It can be easier to remove Adobe Flash Player from OS X entirely, and be done with the effort involved.  Adobe has a tool to remove Flash Player from OS X available.  (If you really need Flash capabilities, there's a version embedded in the Chrome web browser that might suffice.)
As for your question, if you have gone directly to the Adobe web site (by entering the URL in Safair, and not by clicking on anyting in email or on another web site), and have downloaded Adobe Flash Player updates from there, then you're reasonably safe.
If you've downloaded the Adobe update bits from the Adobe site (and again, not from any other site), then clicking through the "yes, I know I downloaded this" is probably safe.

  • What Apple app works for adobe flash player?

On christmas i bought my iPad 3G+wi fi, my first dissapoint was to play in internet adobe flash video in two  sites www.tuparada.com and www.integridadysabiduria.org, appstore recommends some apps equivalent to adobe flash, i tried  Skyfire ($4.95) but it doesn't work, and i lost my money because Skyfire said  they can not refund because Apple doesn' has policy refund, anyway my core cuestión is : how can i play  internet vídeos which request adobe flash player.?

I think Apple   should probably have to take most seriously this problem,  because this kind of video is high popular , besides retailers do not quote the warning that we will not be allowed to play this type of video

There is no guaranteed solution for the iPad as flash is not and probably never will be supported.
Apart from Skyfire there a browser apps such as iSwifter, Puffin and Photon which 'work' on some sites, but judging by their reviews not all sites.

It opens on the English page for me:
Some of your systems settings may be incorrect, so it opens on the first (Arabic) page.  But you can always click on the English bookmark to go to the English section.

    Hi UtahDano,
Can you tell me where you saw '2013'?  I looked on Adobe Flash Player Distribution | Adobe, Adobe - Adobe Runtimes / Reader Distribution License Agreement, and Adobe Runtimes / Reader Distribution Agreement, and I'm not seeing '2013'.  Once I find out exactly where this is at, I can forward it to the appropriate folks to update.
    Thank  you.
