Is there an add on for Firefox that is similar to HP Web Printing?

There are no details. The questions says it all.

This one should work with Firefox 4 - Bookmark Favicon Changer - https://addons.mozilla.org/firefox/addon/bookmark-favicon-changer/

  • Is there an "insert all links" type of feature or add-on for Firefox that works with Thunderbird?

    Hello Firefoxies,
Is there an "insert all links" type of feature or add-on for Firefox that works with Thunderbird or any email app? I want to be able to insert all the links from a Firefox bookmarks folder automatically in to an outgoing email and include the names that I have given to those saved links / bookmarks.
I searched for this add-on on the Firefox and the Thunderbird sites, but I don’t think the one that I found is for what I am thinking of.
What I would like to do is to be able to add all the links in a saved tabs folder, or any bookmarks folder, from Firefox in to the body of an outgoing email preferably in Thunderbird, or any email app... so I could just click and all the links and hopefully all the names that I have given to those links will then appear in the body of an outgoing email automatically, ready for me to then write what I want, plug in an address, and send.
When I did a search of add-ons on the Firefox and Thunderbird sites, I found something called “Open all links 0.3.1” on the Thunderbird site that I think is for the opposite of my description... I think this add-on is to automatically open all the links in an email that is received... '''which IS NOT what I want to do'''... I want to place all the links that I have in a Firefox bookmarks folder in to an outgoing email... the URL to the “Open all links 0.3.1” add-on is below for you to look at just in case I am reading this wrong...
    https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/thunderbird/addon/2913/
Otherwise, I could not find any add-on that fits my description.
    Thanks so much,

  • I/E has within their Print Preview the option to preview "as selected on screen". Is there an add-on for FireFox 15 that will do the same thing?

I have been trying to locate an add-on to preview only what I have selected to print. I/E has solved this problem but I haven't found anything in FireFox yet. Does one exist and if not is anyone working on one? I am now running FireFox 15 on a Windows Vista (Home Edition) Laptop.

The Print Agent Reference Manual refers to command line option
-apdfprintno on page 107. You have to activate the PDF Security features for this to work.

  • Do you an extension or add-on for Firefox that can check an email link on a webpage, or if that email link is bad, make a suggestion for a good email link

I need a way to check the email on various websites contacts pages. If that email is undeliverable, could a correct email address be found ?

Is there anything that can scan an email link to see if that is good or find the correct email address for a website ? Maybe a program where you paste the main URL in it and it scans for all emails ?
    Thanks

  • Is there an add-in for FF that will direct files based on the type? i.e. put graphic files in a folder called graphics, program files in a folder called exe etc?

I would like FF to be able to sort my downloads into categories, to put program files into a folder called exe, to put graphic files into a folder called pics ,etc. Can this be done?

The Firefox download manager isn't set up to do that, but I understand there are a few external download managers that offer a feature like that.

  • Is there an "OK Google" add-on for Firefox or an "OK Firefox"

Since using a smartphone I have got used to using OK Google and find that speaking a long query in the browser results in more relevant results. I thought I would add it to Firefox to make browsing easier. I can't find an add-on for this and wonder if it is compatible with Firefox. If not, is there an OK/hello/ready Firefox that will allow me to speak instead of type into the browser.

Awesome, I also just watched this weeks meeting and there was actually an update for this project, it is also happening for Firefox OS :-) [https://wiki.mozilla.org/WeeklyUpdates/2014-10-27#Firefox_OS] -> that link will have the current demo videos and bug tree.

  • Is there a Metro version of Firefox that works for Non-Touch computers with Windows 8.1?

I have a 64-bit Windows 8.1 computer of which doesn't support Touch features. Is there a Metro version of Firefox that works on 64-bit Windows 8.1 computers that don't support touch? If so, how can I get it?

Okay, thanks. Tbh the only advantage I thought of was the ability for it to open in a Windows 8 mode. Basically like how IE 10 does when opened from the start menu.

  • I am trying to get the CLIPPINGS add on for firefox. but it says it is not compatible with FirFox 8.0 whaat can I do.

I am trying to get the CLIPPINGS add on for firefox. but when I try and download it, it says it is not compatible with FirFox 8.0. also the latest version of firfox is 3.1 but my version is 8.0 Is that right?

There were some issues with the addons site and checking for (compatibility) updates.<br />
It seems to be working now, so you can try again to install the extension.

  • IS THERE AN ADD-ON FOR COMPATABILITY?

I have 1 program that I must use that cannot go above IE8 (not my choice). Is there any add-on or Tool that I can use to make this work?

Compatibility mode is a "kludge" from the days when Microsoft didn't follow established standards and expected developers to use non-standard code for IE in an attempt to block other browsers from being used.
Firefox doesn't have a "compatibility mode" because Mozilla has followed established standards for compatibility. Have you tried that program with Firefox to see what works and what doesn't?
Have you tried obtaining support from the developers of that program?
Overall, it sounds like that program has "seen its day" and a replacement is needed.

...I was just more curious to see how many different companies access my info on different sites...
What concerned me more was that the same companies were accessing my info on different sites, so that a profile could be built of what sites I visit, what I do when I get there, what things I search for, and, since some sites naturally require identification, who I am. Then, with all that information collected and collated (and updated day by day), it can be sold to whomever is willing to pay and used for whatever purpose the purchaser chooses. That, more and more, is, I think, becoming the business model of the internet.
Ghostery's page-long list of tracking sites is, indeed, an eye-opener, and a sad one, at that.

We've reached out to the Hotmail team and they've determined that this is a bug in their code. (It was masked by a timing issue in 3.5 that was fixed in 3.6.) We've worked with them to develop a fix but they may not have deployed it yet.

  • Higlighter add on for firefox android

please someone develop highlighter/marker add on for firefox android to highlight html 5 pages

Actually, mozilla doesn't make addons, third party devs do then they are checked by Mozila, so a third party developer would have to make such addon. Please do note that most contributors on the forums are volunteers and do not work for mozilla.
