Is there an add-on that features an arrow when you hover over a bookmark link and opens it in a new tab, like IE?
In the IE 7+ browser, the Favorites pane has a feature that when you hover over a link, a blue arrow displays which, when clicked, opens that link in a new tab. Is there a Firefox add-on that has this feature?
Middle-click or {Ctrl + Click} a bookmark to have it open in a new Tab.

Okey so basically I've themes my windows 7 into a black state.
The thing about that is that the default font color firefox uses for tooltips and other information is back so its quite impossible for me to read.
After a while googleing I found out that something called userChrome.css can be used so naturally I looked furhter.
I found answers for almost everything I was looking for, except these "button tooltips".
Heres my userChrome.css code:

Basically it takes care of all text that was black and turns it the way I like it.
So what is the name of the tooltips that shows up when you hover over a UIbutton? such as "back"

Info pane that loads when you hover over an image
I think by mistake I have enabled an info pane that opens when you hover over an image with the cursor. I don't know how I have done this but it is driving me mad. Can anyone help with turning this feature off?
Sounds like Tooltips. Hit the T key to toggle

Can someone help with a div that pops up when you hover over a button?
I made a div that pops up (stacked on the rest of the page) when you hover over a button (gigs). It works in the safari preview but when I test it online it doesn't. It's above the logo instead of blocking it and on the left site instead of the right. And when you open the page it isn't hidden like in the preview. Does someone know what is wrong?

for example there's a link a friend sent me in my e-mail and I right-click on it, and select "Open in a new tab" it pops open like normal, except it does not load the page, I have to click the box and press enter to even get it to load it. In previous versions I have never had that problem, current version of Mozilla Firefox I am using is version 4, previous was 3.6 hope this helps figure this out.

I don't have an issue with how the tabs work. But, the other user of my laptop can not distinguish between the concepts of "x" and "+" leading to constant frustration as he opens bookmarks over the tabs he wants left open.
I thought it might help if a clicked bookmark opened automatically in a new tab or window rather having to click on the add a tab for a blank tab before opening a bookmark. Is it possible to change a comment so that when you hover over it, all text is visible?
I know that you can double click on the comment and view all content, but this leaves the possibility that someone will not see all of the comment. Is there a way to remedy this situation?
That is the default. If you're mousing around with the Hand tool active in Reader/Acrobat, when you move over a comment, the text in the comment is visible. See example below:
On the Commenting Preferences, make sure "Enable text indicators and tooltips" is selected. -
Occasionally when I click on a link with my middle mouse button, instead of opening the page in a new tab, it will open a new instance of Firefox.
I've looked through some of the settings and I wasn't able to find anything. It really gets to be bothersome at times because I prefer things to be in tabs instead of a new browser.It's not specific sites. I can middle-click on the same link 50 times and it will open it in a new tab 45 times and 5 of those times, it will randomly open it in an entirely new window. I don't know what's causing this.

Using Mozilla at present the alternate text for an image does not pop up when you hover your mouse over the image. This is what occurs in Internet Explorer. In Mozilla Firefox you have to right click, choose Properties and then you can view the alternate text. Is there a way to set up the mouse hover? Or is there a keyboard shortcut to at least view the Properties information of an image on a webpage quicker?
The Alt attribute isn't meant to show as a tooltip on hover.
The Alt attribute is meant to show if the image isn't or can't be displayed.
The title attribute is meant to show if you hover an image or link.

When I click a link to open it in a new tab, firefox jumps to another tab that is already opened.
I have my options set to open new windows as a new tab. But when I do, rather than staying in the tab I'm in (even though I have options set to stay there not go to the new tab immediately) Firefox sends me to ANOTHER Tab that is already opened (neither the current one nor the newly opened one).
That feature isn't new to 3.6.8, it was changed in 3.6.

Just bought a new iPhone 5 and wanted to send pics from my camera roll on my iphone 4 as a shared photo stream to my new phone and my wife's phone.
I selected the pictures and created the photo stream and it showed up on my new phone and she was able to accept invite, but when opened the stream contained 0 photos and a message that says "No Shared Photos"
These pictures were admitedly older than 30 days. Is that the rule that pictures from your camera roll older than 30 days cannot be shared as photo stream?
I apprecaite all guidance on this issue. For those answering - yes everything else photostream wise is connected and working so there's no issue with setup - my question simply is can a user upload photos older than 30 days from the camera roll to a shared photostream?

30 days is only applicable to My photostream and even then it applies from the time they were added not mwhen they were taken (unless it's the same time)
I'd be inclined to restart your wife's phone and see if that helps, otherwise you might try turning photostream off and on again on her phone.
Note: disabling photostream and re-enabling it will result in any photos that are currently in the photostream album on your device, that are older than 30 days old, not being added back. -
We have tried to add a WPS Canon Pixma-Pro to our Airport Extreme network. However when we are in Utilities and try to access the Base Station drop down menu nothing is highlighted. Therefore we can not click on the Add WPS Printer title. I'm sure it is some user error that we are overlooking, but extremely frustrated. Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Current Firefox versions have a feature called tear-off tabs.<br />
You can detach a tab from the current window and open it in a new window by dragging a tab in the browser window.<br />
You can drag that tab back to the tab bar in the original window to undo that detaching.
