Is there an app that sends photos from iPad to specific folders on your computer?

Hello,
Sometimes I have screenshots of websites or other saved images on my iPad 2. What I do now is sync my iPad to my iMac once in a while and rename the photos on my computer, after which I place the photos in their respective folders. I was wondering if there's a way for me to transfer my photos from my iPad to specific folders on my iMac wirelessly. For example, if I have a picture of a flower on my iPad, could I transfer the photo wirelessly to my computer and have the photo put in a folder named "Flower" on my iMac?
Any help greatly appreciated. Thanks.

There are apps that allow you to select and transfer photos from your iPad to your computer via wifi, but I'm not aware of any that have that type of control over where they go to on your computer e.g. Simple Transfer (which also has a free lite version called Simple Photo & Video Transfer)

  • HT201301 How do I send photos from my "Camera Roll" album to my computer

I'm trying to export photos from the Camera Roll album to my computer.  How do I do that?

One way that you can do it is to import the photos to the computer much like you would do with a digital camera.

  • How do I get started creating an app that retrieves photos from Flickr and creates a mosaic?

I'm working to develop a wallpaper application for desktops, tablets & smartphones. What I need to do is the following:
    1) Get a little user input (this will be a web or app front end).
    2) Retrieve N (50-200) random photos from a particular Flickr set (handled on a Mac server interfacing with Flickr).
    3) The hard part... assemble the photos into a mosaic that matches the dimensions of the client application. Again, this is done on a Mac server, using either available Mac software & AppleScript or standard Unix tools available or installable on a Mac server.
    4) Send the output photo back to the web or app client.
Steps 1 & 4 are where the user will interface, and I figure I'll get to that part later. What I'd like to do is start figuring out what I need to complete tasks 2 & 3. I'll probably poke around Flickr for task 2 help. Task 3 is purely handled on the Mac server. I have XCode installed and experience with HTML and writing very simple software in Perl, Fortran & a little AppleScript, but zero experience in XCode.
    Thanks for any advice.

To stop the Cannon software from doing the import read the Cannon software manual
To have iPhoto do it go to the iPhoto preferences and set the preference for action when a camera is connected to launch iPhoto

  • Sending photos from iPad to company email through Exchange and Outlook

When sending emails with attached photos from my iPad to other employees using outlook off our exchange server, the photos sometimes show up as attachments (good thing) and sometimes display in the body of the email not as attachments (useless)
My iDevices are all using the mail app and are synced with my company email through exchange. This issue only appears from iDevice's and is random.
We also have Android devices in the company and they do not have this issue.
All emails originate from my devices as new mail and I have tried to copy past the photos and also sharing them directly from the gallery. I also have issues with FWD email with attachments but I am familiar with these issues and and some workarounds.
Our server was just upgraded to the newest available specs 3 months ago, prior we could not send any images from iDevices.
When the photos show up in the body without attachments is makes saving them very inconvenient and at times they wont save at all. This feature is a real issue die to the way we are required to transfer info to our client.
    Any assistance is appreciated.

Thanks Joe.  We have discovered from this forum, actually, that if you send the photos from the iPhone, if that's where they were taken, then you are asked what size.
"If you send from the camera, then you get the option of reducing the size. If you send from your other photos synced from your computer, they don't have that option of reducing."
I tested it by sending a couple of photos taken by my iPhone, and sure enough, was asked as to size.  Then sent the same two photos from my iPad (Photostream) and was not asked.  Interestingly though, the sizes were identical in both emails.

  • Sending photos from ipad air

    Hi, all.
I have an ipad air.  It is not connected to any other device and cannot be linked to my MacBook.  I have taken some photos with my air and I want to email them to someone else, but I can't find a way to do this.
    Anyone know how?

Try something real basic. Close the mail app completely, reset your iPad then launch mail again and see if the emails appear.
Closing apps in iOS 7 works like this. Drag the app up from the multitasking display. Double tap the home button and you will see apps lined up going left to right across the screen. Swipe to get to the app that you want to close and then swipe "up" on the app preview thumbnail to close it.
Reset the iPad by holding down on the sleep and home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider if it appears on the screen - let go of the buttons. Let the iPad start up.

  • How do you send photos from iPad / iPhone to Snapfish for prints?

How can I send photos that areiPad and iPhone directly to snapfish for prints?

I guess that is what it does.
Sorry for the goose chase.     For prints, I use the Walgreens app.  You can pick them up at a local store, or I think they will mail it to you.

  • Is there another way to delete photos from ipad 2, other than sync. i want to delete one or two photos every now and then.

when sync, you lose all photos.. and have to start over.   i am using picasa to get my photos.. i noticed when you take a pic from the ipad 2, you can delete
any photo you want.. i would think that it should be the same no matter how you put photos on the ipad... has any one found a solution to this..
I will keep try different ways..

You only lose photos when you sync, if you don't have the photos you want to keep on your iPad checked in Photos in iTunes.  And no, the only pictures you can delete directly from iPad are those you took with iPad.  All other pictures are managed through iTunes.

  • How do you send photos from a Windows 7 64 bit desktop computer to a 2nd gen Apple TV.

I've gone through the other posts and tried every suggestion.
Both the Apple TV and Itunes are up to date. Ive tried disabling the firewall, unchecked Internet Protocol Version 6 (TCP/IPv6), stopping and starting Bonjour, stopping and starting the Apple Mobile Device in the services window. Both devices are on the same network and Home sharing is enabled on both. In Itunes when I go to "choose photos to share with Apple TV" in the file>HomeSharing menu, I can select photos and folders but when I hit apply nothing seems to happen except the apply button becomes greyed out. Then on the Apple TV end when I go to Computers i get a loading screen that says its loading my library followed by a cannot connect screen. Ive restarted both devices several times. Apple TV is finding my music on the computer, but does not load or find photos.  We are desperate and very frustrated at this point.

Maybe is your connection slow or the mailserver.
Try this: Keep the Powerbutton and the Homebutton pressed at the same time until you see the Apple logo on your iPad screen.

  • How do I transfer photos from iPad to ipad2.

How do I transfer photos from iPad to ipad2?

    With your computer.
Photos transferred from your computer to your iPad via the iTunes sync process should remain on your computer. You transfer these photos to your iPad 2 in the same way - via the iTunes sync process which is selected under the Photos tab for your iPad 2 sync preferences with iTunes.
For any photos on your iPad that were saved from a received email or from a website or that were imported from a digital camera with the iPad Camera Connection Kit, these photos can be imported from your iPad by your computer as with any other digital camera.
Import these photos from your iPad with your computer, and then transfer the photos from your computer to your iPad 2 via the iTunes sync process.

  • Is a way to send photos from bridge to lightroom ?

    hi
is there a way to send photos from bridge to lightroom?
i know only to drag and drop
but is there a script or other ways to send photos to my lightroom catalog
    w7 64bit
    thanks

i know only to drag and drop
Which to my knowledge is the fastest way because you already have selected the files or folder anyway. Since Bridge is a browser showing the content of your disks and Lightroom puts files (often in different versions) in a library you can't combine both to a suitable workflow, at least that is my opinion.
However if you want them in LR the best way I would know is to use the import option in LR itself.
