Is there an Apple User Manual for Pages 5.5.2?
I've been a Pages 09 user for many years. There's a lot to like in Pages 5.5.2. But a user manual showing techniques would be appreciated. Particularly for Search & Replace, whole word searches, invisibles searches, and so forth.

Of course no amount of documentation will fix defects in Pages 5. Pages 4 is vastly superior in most areas.

Are there any advanced user manual for Application Builder?
Hi,
I want to find Application Builder user manual that can teach me how to set the Install Settings. For example, I want to know what libraries will be included in the installer if I enable Serial Port Support and Port I/O Support. What's the function of Enable ActiveX server in Application Settings? The Application Builder user guide I found which is a 8 pages installation guide with release note. I hope some NI engineers can answer this question. Thanks.

BillFor information about specific options in the Application Builder, click the Help button in the Build Application or Shared Library dialog box. In the Advanced Installer Settings dialog box, you also can click the Help button to display a topic with information about each option in the dialog box. Here are the descriptions of the two support options you mentioned:
Serial Port Support -- Installs the serial portion of NI-VISA needed for applications that access serial instruments or serial port.
Port I/O Support -- Installs the necessary support files for accessing parallel ports and for using the In Port and Out Port VIs.
The description of the "Enable ActiveX server" checkbox is: "Enables the ActiveX server for the application so it c
an respond to requests from ActiveX clients."
These descriptions also have links to more information about the objects mentioned, such as the In Port and Out Port VIs and the ActiveX server.

Is there a "normal" user manual for the 8600 pro? Something as simple as "how do i cancel a print j
I have a HP OfficeJet 8600 all-in-one printer and would like to find a "normal" user manual (If such a thing exists). I tried in what somebody considers a manual to find out how to "Cancel a print job". I could not find it in what professes to be a user manual! I finally figured it out on my own, but it would be nice to have a "conventional" manual with an index at the back!

Is there a user manual for Pages 5.2 (1860)?
I built my book in Pages 09. After updating to Pages 5.2, I have to reset document and section information. I will think twice before agreeing to download a Pages update in the future.
The first page of each chapter is bigger than the other pages and doesn't have a header / footer. I want to know how to have headers and footers on all pages.
I also want to know whether I need to convert it to the Page Layout format.

You should still have Pages '09 in your Applications/iWork folder, no need to use Pages 5.2, in fact there are 110 reasons not to:

If you convert your file to Page Layout it will delete all your content. Also Pages 5.2 has no Textbox linking nor Facing Pages, which makes a book layout well nigh impossible.

When I download a PDF, a user manual for instance, the page is black and the font is green, how do I change this to a white page and black script?
Try opening it with Adobe Acrobat Reader.
Note: Appleworks is the Apple office like application that stopped being able to run with Mac OS X 10.6.8. If you have a question particular to 10.9, I would ask in the 10.9 (OS X Mavericks) forum. -

Struggling with jumping over to Mac from a PC is there a user manual?
There is a user manual both in the box the MBP came from and on the hard drive. But it really doesn't cover using the MBP or what you need to know when switching from PC to Mac.
For that you should look into get a good book on Macs. Sorry don't have any suggestions.
If you were fairly proficient on Windows you will be on a Mac but Mac's are not easier to use. They are just different then PCs in some ways, and then they are the same in others.
If you could describe what problems you are having that would go a long way to help you.
NOTE: The one big difference between the systems is in Windows when you clicked the X in the upper righthand corner of the program the Program actually closes. On Mac when you click the X in the upper lefthand corner of a window you are not closing the program. All you are doing is closing that window, the peogram stays running in the background. You have to actually close the program by hitting the Command+Q keys (while the program is active and its name is in the menu bar even if there is no windows open for it) or go to the Program name in the menu bar and select Quit Programname. -

I should have explained that I have already seen 'Getting Started with Adobe Digital Editions', an epub document that comes with the software. It is only nine pages long, more of a quick guide than a manual. I had expected that there would be more to the software than is covered there. Perhaps there isn't. (To explain a little further: I was looking for a way to cause epub pages to print or display like the pages of the original book, but couldn't find anything about printing beyond. That feature is present in the Bluefire Reader for iOS devices. I tried printing a particular page using Ctrl+P and specifying the page number. The page printed, but it was spread over two sheets of A4 paper and the page number was not printed.) -

JudieIn addition to the "User's Guide" there has also been a PDF "Features Guide" for each version of the iPod touch. (The one iwell provided a link for is not for the 4th generation iPod touch. (The 'at a glance' sketch shows the on/off button on the left. It's on the right on the 4th generation iPod touch.) It's possible Apple hasn't posted it yet. But I appreciate you both for trying. I have submitted feedback a couple of times to the effect that I prefer PDF documentation.
I was not aware of the uncompiled help files. Are these generally available any time the compile help file is used? They are helpful in that I can view them on my Macintosh. I still prefer the more book-like PDF format, though.
I am downloading chmMagic to give it a try.
Thanks for the help! There's so much stuff on NI's web site it can be hard to know what's available and how to find it.

Automatic Conversion of PR to PO.. Need User Manual for ME59 T code

I Got the following content from net. but kindly help me by sending me user manual for ME59.
You created purchase requisition for various material. During creation of purchase order you used the following path:
Purchase Requisition
.......Follow on function
.........Create Purchase Order
............automatic via purReq.
When you mentioned required purchase requisition number and execute, system give error that purchase requisition does not contain any suitable item.
Is there any setting in customization where you can monitor and use that function.
In an effort for you to successfully use the Transaction Code ME59 to automatically convert the current PR into PO, then the following criteria should be met:
1) In the Purchasing View of the material master data, the "Autom. PO" field must be clicked;
2) In the Purchasing View of the Vendor Master Data, the "Automatic Purchase Order" field must be clicked;
3) The Outline Agreement or Purchasing Info Record shall be maintained which will allow the automatic copying of unit price and other conditions into PO;
4) The Source List shall be maintained for the nominated vendor which was shown in either the Outline Agreement or Purchasing Info Record.

If you're not using a source list or automatic creation of PO, you may need to assign the requisition to a purchase information record using transaction ME56. Then it should appear in ME58

Step by step process for automatic PO creation from PR
1. Tick check box in purchasing view of Material Master(MM01/MM02)
2. Tick check box for auto PO in purchaisng data of Vendor Master record (MK02)
3. Maintain Source list for Material,plant and Vendor combination in ME01
4. In ME51N create PR and assign source of supply in "Source of supply" tab
5. In ME59N key in Purchaisng Org., Vendor and Plant - execute
You will get POs created with reference to PR automatically.

Using IPhoto Library In Aperture
I would like to just use the IPhoto library and NOT create a duplicate library in Aperture. I had heard there was a way to do this and with Preferences I set the pointer to my IPhoto library and when i reopened nothing. Any help?
