Is there an application that can batch convert wma to m4a and save the output files to their respective original file location?

I need to convert thousands (yes, really) of wma files to m4a.  The wma files are all located in different folders and each converted m4a file needs to end up in the same folder as its respective original wma file.  Does anyone know of an application that can do this?
Thanks,
Will

I'm not completely sure that MPEG Streamclip can convert AVCHD footage (.mts files).  If MPEG Streamclip doesn't do the job, then get a copy of Clipwrap, which was designed for transcoding .mts files to QuickTime/Apple Intermediate Codec (that's the format/codec you need to convert the .mts files to for use in FCE).

  • How to create two UILoader that can be nested with each other and save the parent UILoader - as3

    Hi all,
    I am currently researching on the problem but I can't find any solution in the web.
    Here is my problem:
    I have two UILoader instance (loader_inner and loader_outer) I need to have loader_inner to be part of the loader_outer. I have also a button that will save all contents on loader_outer. Unluckily, when I trigger the save function, I only got  a white image file. I was expecting that the contents of loader_outer (with loader_inner) to be saved also.
    Note: background_1.jpg and rabbit.jpg are present in the directory. loader_outer and loader_inner where manually placed in the scene using UILoader component.
    Here is a code snippet:
    loader_inner.load(new URLRequest("background_1.jpg"));
    loader_outer.load(new URLRequest("rabbit.jpg"));
    loader_outer.addChild(loader_inner);
    var bitmapData:BitmapData = new BitmapData(loader_outer.width,loader_outer.height);
    bitmapData.draw(loader_outer);
    var jpgencoder:JPGEncoder = new JPGEncoder(100);
    var mybyte:ByteArray = jpgencoder.encode(bitmapData);
    var myfile:FileReference = new FileReference();
    myfile.save(mybyte,"test.jpg");
    My expected output should be that background_1.jpg and rabbit.jpg should be saved in an image file and must be positioned like the ones placed in the scene.
    Any ideas on this?
    Thanks ahead.

    the load method is asynchronous so you don't want to apply that draw method until both loads are complete.  ie, use a complete listener:
    loader_inner.addEventListener(Event.COMPLETE.loadcompleteF);
    loader_outer.addEventListener(Event.COMPLETE,loadcompleteF);
    var loadNum:int=0;
    loader_inner.load(new URLRequest("background_1.jpg"));
    loader_outer.load(new URLRequest("rabbit.jpg"));
    loader_outer.addChild(loader_inner);
    // you should declare these variables outside this function so there are no gc issues.
    function loadcompleteF(e:Event):void{
    loadNum++;
    if(loadNum==2){
    var bitmapData:BitmapData = new BitmapData(loader_outer.width,loader_outer.height);
    bitmapData.draw(loader_outer);
    var jpgencoder:JPGEncoder = new JPGEncoder(100);
    var mybyte:ByteArray = jpgencoder.encode(bitmapData);
    var myfile:FileReference = new FileReference();
    myfile.save(mybyte,"test.jpg");

    is there any application that can help my iphone 3GS with personal hotspot or tethering internet?

    You don't need anything, as such is built directly into the iOS. Your carrier, however, needs to support such.

  • I want to remove the monitor from my 17" Macbook Pro 2008 to use as an external for my Macbook Pro 15" 2012. How can I convert lvds to Thunderbolt and power the monitor?

    I want to remove the monitor from my 17" Macbook Pro 2008 to use as an external for my Macbook Pro 15" 2012. How can I convert lvds to Thunderbolt and power the monitor?

    It's almost impossible.  The new iMacs have a Target Display Mode, but it's built to do that.  Without ripping your screen out, finding an acceptable power supply, frame, and whatever electronics to convert a Thunderbolt signal to the screen, the cost will be much larger than buying a cheaper HiDef monitor that runs with an HDMI to Thunderbolt cable to your MacBook 15.  In fact, you can sell your 17" MBP for a lot of money, unless it's broken or something, buying you a really sweet monitor.
    By the way, I found your answer by searching this forum.  I would suggest using the search function here in the futuere.

    Is there any apps/widgets/software/website that can search songs according to tempo and key? thanks a lot.

    What issues are you experiencing with iOS 7? Let's try to solve them instead of trying to downgrade. As Stedman pointed out, you cannot downgrade anyway.

  • Can i zoom into a picture and save the picture at  that view, can i zoom into a picture and save the picture at  that view

    Can I zoom into a picture and save it at that close up view?

    The simple answer is, "Yes".  Use Aperture's crop tool to create a Version that shows only the part you want to be visible.
    Instructions on using the Crop tool are here.
    If that isn't what you want, post back.

  • Is there an application that can open idd files besides InDesign?

    I create customized training documents, and they have gotten too large to be supported in MS Word. So, I'm looking at moving over to InDesign, but not everyone on my team will need all the power of InDesign. For example, my editors only need to modify the copy as needed. For such minor work, I do not want to purchase 10 copies of InDesign. Is there an inexpensive application out there that can open idd files for minor editing? If not, has anyone used Photoshop to create a graphically rich 200 page document, and used Elements for text editing?

    No comment on Photoshop/Elements aside from that being like using a screwdriver to hammer a bolt into a lemon. Possible, but probably messy and likely to leave a sour taste...
    Now, on to the InDesign portion of the question.
    You do not need for your editors to have InDesign.
    Option 1) Use MS Word (or any other text editor) to edit the copy of all the stories. Pro: common app that you already have. Con: unable to see results in final file.
    Option 2) Use Adobe InCopy to edit the copy of all the stories. Pro: InCopy can 'open' InDesign files to allow editors to see the effect of their copy changes. Con: new application to purchase and learn.
    InCopy is made for what you have in mind, so long as the minor editing is all text.

  • My iPhone 5S needs 4.7 gb storage to install iOS 8. After deleting all removable apps and removing photos I only have 4.4 gb. Is there anything else that can be done to be able to install the update?

    I have an iPhone 4S running iOS 7.1.2 with 5.0 gb total storage. Need 4.7 gb available storage to update to iOS 8.0.2. After removing all apps that I can and photos I only have 4.4 gb available storage. Have not yet added any music or videos. Is there any other way to reach 4.7gb or any other way to install the update?

    You don't have to remove anything if you do the update via your pc with i-tunes.
    Then you need only 1,1 GB.

  • Is there any way I can browse photos on Front Row and choose the music?

    Hi!
    Without creating a slideshow or anything in advance, is there any way using Front Row that I can browse my photos and either keep my iTunes music playing in the background or the music I choose in Front Row?
    Thanks

    I am going to assume you are on Leopard, if so, as far as I understand it, under FR 2.0, this is not possible. This is the sole reason I have yet to upgrade to Leopard, hope you listening Apple!!! I only have one mac, a mini, that I use as a HTPC. Why this functionality was removed is like a Windows type decision, pointless and ridiculous.
    I have a seen a lot of talk about being able to install the old version of FR, search the forums, for how to do that.
    Under Tiger, it is totally do-able, as long as you ensure your default picture slideshow setting does not have pre-saved music.

  • Search  application that can handle regular expressions

    I am desperately seeking for my PhD an OSX 10.6 application that can search through all my data. That application need to have *efficient search algorithms* for complex pattern searching.
    For example I want to search all my documents having the word cancer inside the file.
    Not only search for the filename cancer BUT search inside the documents with all the extensions (pdf, rtf, doc, etc.)
    In Windows I use +Filelocator Pro+.
    Is there a Mac OSX application like +Filelocator Pro+ for search?
    An application that can handle regular expression support, with any of the following options:
    +Export results to Text, command line options, Network drive searching, Boolean searches (e.g. AND, OR, and NOT), Perl compatible regexp option, Built in file viewer, Word, Excel and PDF searching, Open Office, Word Perfect option using IFilters, Unicode support, support for: ZIP, RAR, CAB, 7-Zip, ARJ, Bzip, CHM, CPIO, DEB, DMG, GZIP, HFS, ISO, LZH, MSI, NSIS, RPM, TAR, UDF, WIM, XAR, Z formats, Active Scripting support, Export as Text, CSV, XML, HTML, or XSLT custom format, File attribute searching , Relative date/time searches, Repositionable contents pane, Search within search, Exclude folders list,+ etc

    You might try the freeware EasyFind. It allows boolean and wildcard searches. How many of the other features in your "wish list" it offers I haven't checked. If EasyFind doesn't offer sufficient power, take a look at FoxTrot Personal Search or FoxTrot Professional Search.
    And of course there's always grep which can be incredibly powerful once you learn all its ins and outs.
    Regards.
