Is there an archive of Flash Player MSI's
I recently deployed the latest 10.1.85 version of Flash Player through GPO but it's not uninstalling 10.1.82. There is just a seperate install sitting in Add/Remove programs. I already deleted the 10.1.82 MSI out of the folder and replaced it with the new version. I'm hoping to be able to find an MSI for 10.1.82 so I can add it back into GPO and set it to uninstall this package first and then install the new one.

Where did you get the 10.1.85.3 version from? There is another topic, to which I just replied, that claims http://www.adobe.com/products/flashplayer/fp_distribution3.html is still offering only the 10.1.82.76 version - check it out.
I have the 10.1.82.76 install_flash_player_10_active_x.msi installer, but not the plugin. You can PM me your email address if you want it, and I can send it to you.

There may be a couple Apps that may help, but I understand they don't work very well. The best solution would be to contact the owners of the websites and let them know they need to update their site.
The alternative I use, is to download the problem video onto my computer, and convert it to M4V or MP4 format using a program like HandBrake <HandBrake>. Then it can be added to iTunes and synced with the iPad.

Flash Player .MSI installation Windows 7 64bit Permissions Issue
I have published the latest Flash Player MSI to my Companies Active Directory, I have enabled users to install applications that are controlled by the windows Installer "Always Allow Application Installation" GPO setting in Computer and User.
I have not had any issues with other published applications such as Chrome, Firefox.
Both of the MSI files (Plugin and IE) versions both kick back with insufficient privelages.

What I have tried (failed results):
run the installer as a domain admin
run as locally created admin
run in elevated mode
Removed all UAC Settings

Need Flash Player MSI for 11.3.300.270 to uninstall it
Hi, I am using active directory group policy software installation to push out Flash player to my users. However, I accidentally deleted the MSI file for version 11.3.300.270 which is needed to uninstall another version (11.4.400.xxx) before pushing out the newer version.
Can anyone out there provide me with a copy of the MSI for 11.3.300.270 I have already found version 11.3.300.273 at the Flash player archive page at http://helpx.adobe.com/flash-player/kb/archived-flash-player-versions.html but they don't work.
Any help or suggestions would be appreciated.

Need Flash Player MSI for 10.2.152.32
I am using active directory group policy software installation to push out Flash player to my users. However, I accidently deleted the MSI file for version 10.2.152.32 which is needed to uninstall this version before pushing out the new version 10.2.153.1. Can anyone out there provide me with a copy of the MSI for 10.2.152.32? I have already looked at the Flash player archive page at http://kb2.adobe.com/cps/142/tn_14266.html but they don't seem to have it. Any help or suggestions would be appreciated.
For some reason, I wasn't able to reproduce this behavior on demand, but here is the general procedure I had followed before when the problem was encountered:
1. I copied the 10.2.152.32 MSI files to a location on our file server and published them via Group Policy as a ZAP file that launched a script to that runs uninstall_flash_player.exe to explicitly remove both the plugin and activex and then installs the plugin and activex versions of Flash Player 10.2.152.32. Both are installed with msiexec, and the /passive parameter is used.
2. I removed Flash Player*, updated group policy on my computer and installed the published 10.2.152.32 Flash Player from above. http://www.adobe.com/software/flash/about/ confirmed that 10.2.152.32 was installed and working for both IE8 and Firefox.
3. I closed both browsers and replaced the MSI files from the file server location from step 1 above with the MSI files for version 10.2.153.32. These new MSI files had the same names as those of the earlier version: "install_flash_player_10_active_x.msi" and "install_flash_player_10_plugin.msi".
4. I installed Flash Player 10.2.153.1, which was similarly published via Group Policy as a ZAP file that launches a script to install the MSI files.
Step four would finish without error since the /passive parameter was being used, but Flash Player would not be functional in either browser. Attempts to manually remove Flash Player so that I can install it cleanly would result in the installer prompting me to find the original MSI files. I was able to use registry hacks to remove the installation by removing the following registry data that was left behind:

Why are there two versions of flash player on my laptop?
I'm running 64 bit Windows 7 Professional which seems to handle both 32 and 64 bit software. I use Firefox as my default browser and use MSIE only when I must.
A Flash update failed so I checked the uninstall programs list thinking I'll just uninstall and reinstall the latest.
Huh? I found both "Flash Player 10 Active X" and "Flash Player 11 Plugin 64 bit." Now I've no clue what failed to upgrade nor why there are two versions. Why 10 AND 11 and why is one called "Active X" while the other is called "Plugin".
And, to confuse me further, there is also Adobe AIR. I don't know what or why or how to deal with all of these. Would somebody kindly explain?
And, how do I figure out what update to which failed?

Uninstaller for 64 bit Operating Systems
Flash Player for Internet Explorer
Flash Player for other browsers
Close the browser and disconnect from the Internet. Run the uninstaller and restart Windows.
Delete all remaining files and folders located in the following directories. (tip: copy and paste these paths into the path bar in an Windows Explorer window)
C:\Windows\system32\Macromed\Flash
C:\Windows\SysWOW64\Macromed\Flash
%appdata%\Adobe\Flash Player
%appdata%\Macromedia\Flash Player
Verify that the file “FlashPlayerCPLApp.cpl” in C:\Windows\SysWOW64\ system, has been deleted.
Run both installers. -
Is there a version of flash player that works on windows mobile 6.5?

Forgive me if this question shows my ignorance but is there a version that can be installed that works with wm6.5? When I visit web pages on my device that have embedded flash content I am advised that I need to update my version of flash player but the link takes me to an Adobe page that doesn't seem to have a version that will work for my device.

MikeI've been reading lately about Apple's ongoing battle with Adobe over mobile apps and Flash. What I've gotten from all of it is that Apple wants to develop a mobile format replacement to Flash, and Adobe wants to block it. Apple's contention is that Flash is too bulky and consumptive for mobile apps and content. Apple has barred any mobile apps for iPhone and iPad from containing any Flash code, and Adobe says that has hurt their development of SDKs for people who want to make iPhone apps. It's turned into a regular peeing contest.
I would have to assume that Apple iPhone, DROID, and Windows Mobile all have the same issue with Flash content and software, since they all have to fall within the standards for mobile communications in order to be "universally accessible" by all the companies that make PDAs, tablets, and phones.
I've yet to see a Flash Player download for Windows Mobile, and given the current environment, with HTML 5 coming soon, it's not likely I will. -
Is there a danger using Flash Player?
I head rumours about Adobe Flash. Does this include Adobe Flash Player for the Mac?
Depending on your level of paranoia, there are different ways you could approach this:
Use Flash, but keep it up to date. This will protect you from most Flash security vulnerabilities, but you must keep it up to date to continue to protect you from new threats.
Use Flash, but block it until you actually need it. I use the ClickToFlash extension for Safari, to do this.
Don't run Flash at all. But this will stop you from using some websites that depend on Flash. So one of the earlier options is usually more practical. -
Is there a version of flash player for iPad
Have trouble viewing some websites as no flash player is installed and when trying to download the iPad rejects it saying the operating system is not compatable but I am on the latest operating system.... Is there an alternative or is this just something you have to live with.
You'll want to use Photon, iSwifter or Puffin - these are the three best players. Generally, it's the best not to purchase SkyFire or, even worse, Go2Browse.
Do you have a particular Web site you'd like to use? I can quickly test these browsers with the site so that you don't end up having to pay for at least two of them in vain. -

Certainly, the possibilities are endless if you jailbreak your iPad 2, there are so many videos in youtube to help you do what you want to do with your iOS even turn it to an Android if you want to.
However, if you don't want to jailbreak your iPad 2. You can purchase an app called Skyfire, it will only help you watch flash videos though, not play games. What it basically does is that when you go to websites that has flash videos, and you click it, you wait a few minutes for it to convert it to a watchable format. -
Flash player .msi fails to install, multiple entries in add remove programs cant be deleted
we are seeing installation failures when using the .msi installatoin file. We see an error 2753. The file 'InstallAX.exe' is not marked for installation. Also, we shoe multiple entries in Add/Remove Programs for Flash Player, but they cannot be removed from add/remove programs.
We have tried the Flash Uninstall program, but it will not remove them either.
We have tried installing using the .exe and it installs, but still leaves the old "ghost" entries in add/remove programs.
Any help in cleaning up this up and allowing us to use the .msi would be greatly appreciated.

Latest Flash player MSI not available yet?
I deploy Flash Player using a script to around 200 corporate users using the MSI located at http://www.adobe.com/products/flashplayer/fp_distribution3.html - however users are now getting the 'install Flash player' message indicating it's upgrade time - but the latest version (Flash10l.ocx) doesn't seem to be available on that page as an MSI. Am I looking in the wrong place, or has Adobe just not uploaded it yet? Thanks in advance.

I simply cannot understand why some people (you are not alone!) only get old downloads, and others (like myself) get new downloads from the same link.
