Do you mean the end-of-song marker? It is usually hidden behind the zoom controls in the upper right corner of the track area. Zoom out all the way to see it.

Hi there,
My nano (like everybody else's) has a play/pause button and buttons for next or previous song, what about a stop button?
Even if I switch it off, next time it is still on the same song 9but paused). There might not be a real need for it, but I was just wondering if you can actually stop a song that is playing rather than pause it?

There is no stop button.
Press and hold play/pause turns the iPod off. When you turn it on again, it resumes from where you left off, unless it's been inactive for a period of approx 14 hours or more, after which it goes into deep sleep to conserve battery power. When you next turn it on after this, first you will see the Apple logo, then it will return to the main menu.
With digital music players there is no need of a stop button in the conventional sense.

Stop Button Terminted Instance?

This morning two Instances of my clouds didn't fully start up. To start over/reset them there was a Stop Button but no Pause button which is what I usually would have seen. I clicked the Stop Button which "terminted" the entire Instance without any warning. What happened to the Pause Button here?

Thank you for your suggestion. This warning message will be coming soon.
In order to restore a stopped/terminated instance, you need to have prior backups which completed successfully. You can use the More>Backup and More>Restore options to configure regular backups and restore your CQ cloud.
Upon stopping/terminating a CQ cloud, all the resources allocated on Amazon EC2 (instances, EBS, security groups) are released except for the backups that are stored on Amazon S3.

The back, forward, reload and stop buttons are greyed out, the address bar stays blank when I go to a website and firefox loads to a blank page, not my home page. There are 3 users on this computer and it only happens on one user.

Firefox loads to a blank page, not my home page. When I click on the home button it takes me to the home page. The back, forward, refresh and stop buttons are greyed out and not usable. The webpage I am on does not show up in the address bar. If I type something into the address bar, that address stays there no matter what page I go to next.

Just upgraded to v4. It did NOT fix the problem.

My end call button has suddenly stopped working

I am using an iPhone 4 16GB Factory Unlocked.
My end call button has suddenly stopped working. The icons at the bottom of the screen are also accessed randomly.
i have tried everything recomended.
Updated to the iOS to the latest version 4.3.5. Did a complete reset of the set. rebooted the set several times. But so far nothing seems to work.
Any help would be highly appreciated.

Restart... Reset... Restore from Backup... Restore as New...

Why it's like that I don't think that Apple have said (these are user-to-user forums). If you haven't downloaded it on your iPad then have you checked to see if you can download it on your computer's iTunes (Store > Check For Available Downloads menu option) or Apple TV ?
If it doesn't show on either of them then you can try contacting iTunes Support and see if they will let you download it on a different computer/device or refund or credit you : http://reportaproblem.apple.com

so i bought one of the creative zen touch mp3 players yesterday and i really like it...i have songs DLed on it already...there is just one problem, and i know this is going to sound really stupid...but i can't find the stop button. when i want to stop the song from playing i have to just shut it off completely. maybe its just me and i cant seem to find the correct button, or maybe there just isnt one. CAN ANYONE HELP ME WITH THIS?!? thanks!!

Nope, in fact it's basically due to the way CD and cassette players worked. They are constantly spinning the disc (in the case of CDs) or have the play/record head pushed against the tape (in the case of cassettes). Both cause wear and tear, so a stop button stops the disc spinning and removes the head from the tape, respecti'vely. A digital player doesn't need a stop button from a technical standpoint as there's no disc to stop (the hard disk only spins up when required) and no tape head. Some MP3 players have a stop button e.g. the NJB, 2 & 3, to reproduce the functionality, but from a minimalist standpoint it's not required.

In Firefox 4 by default the Stop, Go and Reload buttons are combined and attached to the right hand edge of the location bar.
When you are typing in the location bar it will show the Go button. When a site is loading it shows the Stop button. At other times it shows the Reload button.
If you want separate buttons, right-click on a toolbar and choose Customize, you can then drag and drop the stop or reload buttons and place them elsewhere. If you place them in the order "Reload-Stop" on the right hand edge of the location bar they will be combined again. HT5636 the screen has stopped working. Is there a combination of buttons that might have changed the screen from the laptop to project onto another screen.

OK, if you technically can't help as it has been hacked/unlocked then let's talk about another iPhone I have that nothing as been modified since it was purchased from the carrier.
If I had a similar situation with this iPhone, could the camera problem be a software failure, and not just an hardware problem?

Ending time delay with stop button

I am trying to create a stop button to control multiple vi's at once. A problem is that my subvi has a time delay. To solve that problem the time delay is divided into multiple time delays so that I can interrupt it with a stop button.I am building off of Al S's example on the forums found here. I tried adding a global variable but it is not working.
Any ideas? Thank you

I wanted to thank everyone for their incouragement to learn notifiers. So I finally did and notifier were the solution I was looking for. I found help from DianeS with her 1st post here and from WayneS1234 with their 1st post here.
I am posting my code to show what I learned. I think it might help someone else. Note that this is like a block diagram with working notifiers of my larger project that I am working on.

Scripting the STOP button

I swear I've searched for this topic and found nothing.
It's pretty basic-- when I author a disc and test it, I press the Stop button on the Remote.
It sits there with a black screen.
I have gone through the excellent DVD Studio Pro 4 Peachpit Apple Pro Training book and the closest example I could find dealt with scripting for two menus.
For this project I have only one menu. I have tried to generalize the example to set a GPRM for 1 value (1, in fact) and a second pre-script to Compare if menuID=1. I've attached this to Disc end jump. That doesn;t feel right but there's no place to attach it to, oh, something logical like THE STOP BUTTON.
It ain't working! Stop leaves me with black screen.
Pretty basic. Is scripting overkill for a simple escape command while in Play?
Help appreciated.

I'm aware remote control buttons can't be scripted, but actions and events can. Somewhere.
Clueless users often expect something helpful when the stop button is pressed, rather than being taken to their player system screen and completely out of the disc. I was certain there was a way to head off this action. Okay, I may be wrong and I'm taking on far too much work looking for a solution. Stop does mean stop, after all. But some folks don't realize there are one or more menu buttons to keep them in the disc. They press stop and then they have to press Play, and navigate to their favorite submenu, etc.

By "sending" do you mean sending email?
If so, what app are you using to take the photos on your iPhone 5? Or are the photos from a different source (saved to your Camera Roll from somewhere else, like a web page or Messages)?
My guess is that Mail gives you the option to send different file sizes when it detects you are trying to Mail a really large photo file. The size of photos on the iPhone 5 is really big and some email providers may stop your mail from being delivered if attachments are too large. Thus, Mail tries to help you by offering to resize the photo.
I suspect that if you are sending smaller files, Mail does not bother giving you options to save a smaller version. In fact, I have seen this behavior. So, if the photo is already "small enough", it gets sent as-is.
To my knowledge, there is no global iOS setting for this. Some apps may have different rules, of course.

I do not have any insight of your application architecture and the changes you have made. So it will not be easy to explain you. Let me try one more time.
You have added a tab and embedded your own wda interface view in the component configuration. When a event is triggered the FPM transfers control to the component belongs to the UIBB and in this case your custom component.
Your custom component does not have any knowledge about the other UIBB's in the application.
The solution what i proposed was to analyse the current application and see if there is IF_FPM_SHARED_DATA, IF_FPM_TABBED_CONF_EXIT.
if they are implemented then your work would be simplified. all the events first comes to OVERRIDE_CONFIG_TABBED .You can capture your save event in OVERRIDE_CONFIG_TABBED and you can work around here.
If the above interfaces are not implemented then it is difficult for you to get the things done the way you would like to do.
