First off, Apple doesn't support downgrading and it can potentially brick your phone. With that being said, if you created a back up in iOS 7 Beta and are trying to restore it to iOS6, you wont be able to. You need to upgrade first then restore from your backup. Don't be suprised if it doesn't work. There is a very real possibilty you may have to start from scratch.

I deleted a cookie or two and now cannot connect to a certain email account. The message on the bottom of screen says "waiting to contect". My other yahoo account works. It is just the main one.

I deleted some cookies yesterday. Then I tried my att.net account.

Have you verified that the account information you have stored in iTunes on your computer, EXACTLY mirrors the information you have on file on your iPad? For example, if you say you live on 1234 Road in iTunes, but on your iPad you say you live on 1234 Rd., you'll have an issue. Make sure the information on both sides is the same.

Connect it to your computer and restore it as a new device. Then chose what music you want to sync with it and do so just like your Touch does.

Yes if you want to run Version 1....you can still download version 1.4.1 (the last update to Version 1), and your serial number would be good for that.
But if you want to run Version 2 or Version 3 you'll need to buy a new license (i.e. a new serial number), but if you have a valid serial number from any prior version you only have to pay for the upgrade license for the later version, not the full license.

I have a couple of articles that should be able to help you troubleshoot this issue a little further. You may want to try uninstalling and reinstalling iTunes first. This has to be done in a specific manner, and this article can help you do that:

It's not that simple. You need a "smart" device to connect a hard drive to, like a Time Capsule, or another computer, or an Airport Extreme/Express that was made to share a drive, or some other brand router that has a USB port for sharing a drive, etc.
