Is there an "instant" way to reverse color a document?

using CS3...
I figured a printer setting would have it but not finding it. I have a black and white vectorized document that needs to be done in a reverse...everything black to be white and white to be black. Its becoming very tedious to go through and change the color to every little thing. Is there more of an instant way to tell it to reverse color everything?

In AI 12 (CS2), that filter won't invert a simple black-to-white linear gradient. (Error message basically says fuggedaboud gradients.) Don't know how it works in AI 13. Don't know whether the method in post #1 works on gradients. (Feature does not exist in AI 12.)

Assuming you have CS4, open Bridge, go to the Output workspace and choose PDF.
You can select the images in Bridge, set the parameters that you want, and generate your "contact sheet".
Other versions of Photoshop have different methods.

hi everybody, i have a new macbook air 13, and pages is install on mac. i am working with someone who use microsoft word, the problem is with the graphics. i receive text o perfect condition but when he send me some graphics problems appear, can anybody give me some advise on how to solve this problem? maybe an app or if i have to modify something on the pages app. Thanks!

Try LibreOffice [free}.
Pages is not 100% interchangeable with Word.

Reversing the cleared document

Hi experts,
My client posted a wrong transaction in PRD system considering the Cheque Deposit Account instead of Cheque Payment Account while making a payment. After this the transaction became cleared item, now when he is trying to reverse the document system throwing up an error saying "Document is cleared, not possible to reverse". Please could you suggest the way to reverse the cleared document.

For reversal of cleared document we have to follow the below step
1.Reset the cleared fi doucument in Transaction Code FBRA
Enter the Cleared document No ,Company code & Fiscal year then hit the clearing icon on the top press the reset the cleared document then the document will be reset
2. Check the status of the document in FBL1N it should be uncleared
3.Reverse the document in Transaction Code FB08
Enter the UnCleared document No ,Company code & Fiscal year then reversal reason ,posting date & Posting period then hit the document icon on the top press Post then the document will be reversed

It is not possible to reverse any clear documents with using of FB08. First we need to reset with FBRA and reverse the same transaction with FB08. or you can also do wih uing FBRA also to reverse the same.

There is a way to get the color information faster than double clicking the color box?

When I need to know, for example, the hexadecimal value of a color I need to double click in the color box in the tools palette. Okay, it's not a that hard but sometimes when I'm using the gradient tools I want to do something like hover the mouse pointer over my color I get some instant information somewhere. There is a way to do this?

Try the info palette (click on arrows left of Info to expand). You will just need to click once to select target item, but will not have to constantly open and close the color picker window. Pretty much same solution as expanded color palette, but you can see stroke and fill together.

specifically, the tabs, if you have a few files open in DW -- the ones that are not on top at the time have a very dark gray background and black text. Is there a way to make Color understand Cyrillic symbols in file names?

When I'm working with any clips, that have non-latin symbols in their file names, Color names them with some system-specific symbols, and every file is named in a very inconvenient way.
The files are named so weirdly, that I really can't understand which file stays for what. May be there is any way to specify some kind of "codepage" for color, or even make it to work in Unicode?

Do those file names appear correctly in the the Finder and other apps?

I feel like the "swipe left to go to the app to the left" is actually counter-intuitive, especially when they were thinking about a touchscreen when designing this OS. The scrolling, though most people aren't used to it on a computer, makes sense because you move the page in the direction as if you were moving a physical page. The switching between fullscreen apps is the opposite and isn't natural for me, especially since I have been using an iPhone and iPad for a couple years now. Is there any way of reversing this control? If not, I think they should do the same thing that they did with the "natural" scrolling and have a checkbox to give you the option of either way.

I didn't see anything in the trackpad preferences as far as direction of the swipe. If anyone else can find it, I would love to be able to reverse it.

Is there an easy way to transpose 2 colors in Illustrator CS6?

I have a black and gold logo in Illustrator, and I want to change it so that everything that is now black will be gold and everything that is now gold will be black.
I tried select same fill, then used the eyedropper to change the gold to black, but then I realized if I do the same with the black, I will end up also selecting everything that I just changed.
I'm hoping there is some easy way around this I am not seeing. The only thing I can think of is maybe pasting the elements I've changed into a different layer and locking it.
But is there an easier way without having to move to a different layer?

Here is an edited reply since it has proved impossible to edit the first post:
You may, for multiple objects of the same colour (presuming fills only, it may be done similarly with strokes and with combinations of fills and strokes):
1) Select one gold object and Select>Same>Fill Color, then set it to white (or whatever) in the Color palette;
2) Select one black object and Select>Same>Fill Color, then set it to gold;
3) Select one white (formerly gold) object and Select>Same>Fill Color, then set it to black.
The Select Same part is unnecessary for a single object of a colur, of course.

Pictures are designed to be copied off the device regularly as would be done with any digital camera. There is no logical reason why anyone would fail to do this with supposedly important pictures.
If a recent backup exists, it is also possible to restore the device from the most recent backup, this may restore pictures to the device. If it does, COPY THEM OFF THE DEVICE IMMEDIATELY for safekeeping.

I'm having to copy the clip rename it as clipreverses.wav then bring it back into audition to use it.
Sony Vagas you can flip the same clip on a different track with a right click and not affect any other copies of that clip.

Not that I'm aware of, no. You can easily make a unique copy of a clip (right-click on it, and you get it already saved for you), and I'd say that having this was more flexible in one way, at least, as you could then time-stretch it if you wanted to, without altering all other instances of it. Not saying that there wouldn't be any point in having a reverse-play option - I can see instances where it might be useful. It's just that it's not exactly difficult to achieve this anyway, which is probably why I don't ever recall a request for it!
