Is there an iPad air model capacity sizes

iPad Air Models
I know the (iPad Air 2) has a model with 128gb of space but do they have the same capacity Model in the (iPad Air?) I can't see it on the Apple website but they're advertising them on cheaper websites like Groupon? Would just like to know if they really exist...

The everyipad.com link below should help answer your question. It does appear that the 1st gen iPad air does have 128GB models.

  • How do I determine which IPad Air model I have?

    How do I determine which IPad Air model I have--Air or Air2? Thanks.

    The single row I'm speaking of goes across the full width of the iPad but is interrupted by the Lightning connector. Here's an ASCII example:
    iPad Air 2
    .  =speaker holes
    O= Lightning connector
    ...............O...............
    iPad Air 1
    : = speaker holes
    O= Lightning connector
    :::::::::::::::O:::::::::::::::
    I mentioned them as being rows and not columns because with a single row as with the Air 2, there are no columns when viewed horizontally...if viewed vertically, the rows will of course turn into columns.

    Mifi devices are usually quite small. Think Credit Card size, and maybe slightly thicker. So not really a big device you need to carry around.
    In any case if you are still within the 14 day return period you may be able to return it to an Apple retail store. It needs to be an Apple Owned store, not sure Authorized Resellers will let you do it.
    Other than that, bob points out, you may want to try to use the iPhone as a hotspot for the iPad.  If your Carrier supports it.  Like the Mifi device, the iPhone will share its cellular internet connection out to other devices over a Wireless network the iPad can use.

  • What is the difference between Apple Ipad Air Model

    What is the difference between Apple Ipad Air Model # MD788LL/A and Model # MD788LL/B

    These models both use the same i7-3820QM processor, so difference(if any) is probably not in CPU(only stepping can be different, but intel site shows only E1). GPU is also the same(again, 'revision' or something may be different). doesn't seem that RAM is different either, it's 1600 DDR3L(only timings and power consumption can differ, but it's unlikely). SSD - cannot say anything from specs. Screen[manufacturer]? Googling shows nothing for me. And only visible difference(apart from model number) for me is price. As I'm considering purchase, I don't want to spend more money to get different number.

  • IPad Air 16GB capacity

    I bought the new iPad Air 16 GB.  But in iTunes it shows it at only 12.85 GB...  This seems much lower than the typical 14 some GB of space.  In face, it's almost 25% less than 16 GB.
    I'm aware that the formatted size will be less than 16 GB, and that the iOS does take space, etc.  But, from 16 GB all the way down to 12.85?  That seems pretty crazy.
    Does anyone else have a higher number?  Why so low this time around?  It seems older iPads had more useable space.

    I think iOS 7 is slightly bigger. Nevertheless, it doesn't sound like you're too far off. See this:

  • IPad air wallpaper pixel size and resolution

    I've found dozens and dozens of web hits that give the physical pixel dimenisons for iPad Air wallpapers, but not a single one that mentions what resolution to use.  My old iPad used the very odd 132 dpi.  Is that still the case?
    Apple:  Are you guys going to do something about the idiotic way IOS 7 handles the wallpaper on the iPad?  Six steps backward as far as I'm concerned.

  • Problem getting photos into an iPad Air

    I plug my previously working Apple Camera Adapter (holding SD card containing photos) into an 30-pin/lightning adapter and this assembly into my iPad Air (model MD786B/A) - but photos now don't show up to be transferred.  So how do I get photos into the iPad from an SD card ?

    1. Was the SD card used in a camera and is that how the photos got onto the card?
    2. Did you previously use the 30 pin SD Card Adapter with the 30 pin to Lightning Adapter successfully?
    The SD card readers (either 30 pin to SD Card adapter or the Lighting to SD Card Camera Adapter) are designed to be used with SD cards that have been formatted and used in a camera. The iPad expect to see a specific organization of the photos. First there must be a folder named DCIM. In side that folder photos must have specific naming structure. IMG_xxxx.jpg is correct where xxxx refers to a four digit number.

  • Warranty ipad air Japanese version.

    i Have a ipad air Japanese version. check two year warranty. in Vietnam, but only 1 year warranty for the label. So how to get the 2 year warranty as the notification system

    The iPad Air warranty includes the same qualifying statement as the iPhone warranty  That is:
    "IMPORTANT RESTRICTION FOR iPHONE AND iPAD SERVICE.
    Apple may restrict warranty service for iPhone and iPad to the country where Apple or its Authorized Distributors originally sold the device."
    However, with the iPad Air there is only one world-wide wifi only model (model A1474), and one world-wide wifi+cellular model (model A1475), so you may find you can get service whereever you are.  iPhone models, and previous versions of the iPad, are not identical models everywhere, so the above warranty statement often means that you literally cannot get service outside of your home country as nobody but the Apple stores in your home country even have your particular model available.
    So, while technically an iPad is not an international warranty, people have posted of getting service when away from home since all iPad Air models are the same everywhere.  All you can do is take it to your nearest Apple or Apple authorised service center and ask - worse they can so is no.

  • Which iPad Air allows everywhere internet

    Hi:
    I received a nice iPad Air for Christmas and my husband thought it had the internet connection type where (like a cell phone) you can connect to the 'net pretty much everywhere i.e. driving down the highway, on a mountain top, in other words without hooking into a wifi. I think this one cannot do that. It's 32 GB and says supports wifi but so did my old ipad. And with my old one you had to hook into a wifi connection. I looked on Apple.com and compared iPads and it appears I'd need to have the iPad Air model that says either 'Cell' or '3G' to be able to connect to the 'net this way? This iPad cost $599. Is this right? If so what's the difference between the 'cell' feature and '3G' feature?
    Also, if I'm right and I want to turn it in for a new one, will getting a higher model with cell or 3G feature require me to buy a monthly plan just like a cell phone or can I piggy back on my current iPhone AT&T plan or basically use that plan with iPad too? Thanks.

    I found a summary of data plan costs.
    I am wondering what these quantities translate to? For example, does the length of time I'm on the 'net eat into the, let's say, 3 GB per month? Or is it just based on emails received or something else such as connecting to (not using) the internet? So I think I'm asking what drains down or eats up the size/space/quota.Time or activity or what? And how does the iPad (or whoever) know if I'm connected via my home wifi (most of the time) or if I'm tapping into the data plan when I'm away from wifi? Thank you!! It's a long way of saying which plan is best for me and can I get away with the cheapest?

  • What are the differences between the Apple 64GB iPad Air with Retina Display and the Apple 64 iPad with Retina Display MD512LL/A 4th Generation

    what are the differences between the Apple 64GB iPad Air with Retina Display and the Apple 64 iPad with Retina Display MD512LL/A 4th Generation ?

    The iPad with retina display only comes in the 16GB version and it has the A6 processor which is a step down from the Air model. Having said that, I stream movies on my iPad 3 with retina and it has the A5 processor and the movies stream just fine as does everything else that I do on the internet.
    If 16GB is enough storage for you, the $100 savings compared to an iPad Air model is a fair amount of money and that might sway me if I was just worried about saving some money. However, that's not my style. I always go for the largest capacity that I can afford and the faster processor if I have the choice.
    Having said that, if it were me, I would select the 32 GB iPad Air. But in spite of the information that you provided in which you want to base your decision, only you can be the judge of what will be best for you, and remember that you cannot add storage capacity to the decide later. You can purchase external WiFi drives if you need the storage, but to me, that takes away from having the really small footprint and portability of only having to carry the iPad around gives you.
