Is there an iTunes shortcut to jump minutes backwards or forewords in an audiobook

Option-Command-arrow is listed but does not seem to work in an audiobook.
Perhaps there is a plugin/extension?

Kurt, Yes Yes Yes, This works in CC also. On my MacBook Pro notebook with wireless small keyboard without page up page down keys, I use the fn (function) key, hold down shift and press the up and down arrows to cycle through the artboards. Wow, thank you so much for this as it is exactly what I wanted to do. But I must mention that Monika answered the second part of the question correctly also with the ability to 'jump' to a selected arboard by name. So, there is no way to award two with the correct answer, but you both deserve. I gave to you Kurt because you answered the first part of the question but you both deserve equally. CarlosCanto also chimed in with an edit I see now that mentions controls in the arboard panel that I have not explored yet. I thank each of you and you each deserve a huge amount of credit for coming up with the insights to navigation that are not readily available without doing some serious homework and having a good amount of experience also with Illustrator. My Sincere thanks to everyone who answered and commented on this topic.

  • Is there a keyboard shortcut to jump to art boards?

I have an extensive drawing that covers many art boards. In InDesign I can jump to a page number using a keyboard shortcut. Is there something similar in Illustrator CC where I can navigate backwards and forwards through the art boards and/or jump directly to an artboard by number?

  • Is there a keyboard shortcut to jump directly to a particular full screen app in Lion?

When you full screen an application in Lion, it "flies out" of the desktop space it started in, and winds up at the end of the spaces list (assuming you have turned off auto-arranging).
As a result if the app being pulled out of the spaces flow, there is no way to ctrl+1/2/3etc to jump to the space it is currently occupying.
Does anyone know how you can make a keyboard shortcut so you can jump directly to full screened apps?
i want to leave the app running in full screen and be able to switch to it using ctrl+1/2/3/4/5 etc

  • Is there a keyboard shortcut to jump to the bottom of my library?

Surely there is such a thing, but I can't find it and it's killing me. I'm using Apple's wireless keyboard if that makes a diff. Thanks!

Look for the "End" key; that will jump to the bottom. Note that this doesn't change which track is currently selected, only which tracks are showing in the view. On Apple laptops, the "End" key is the right arrow key when you hold down the "fn" key.

  • Finder Keyboard Shortcut to Jump between Sidebar and Items

Is there a keyboard shortcut to jump between the sidebar items? E.g. "Documents, Downloads, etc." and the Documents themselves e.g. "Document A".
I've been searching for one for sometime, and there didn't seem to be any immediate solution.
    Thank you!!

Hi, I wish there was but there isnt. The best thing you can do is press the F4 key and it opens the windows you have. so you could open up 2 different finder windows and just F4 back and forth

  • Is there a keyboard shortcut in OS 10.6 for "open folder window" and "close folder window"?

Is there a keyboard shortcut in OS 10.6 for "open folder window" and "close folder window"?  I have a hand condition at the moment that makes it painful to mouse the cursor over to the arrow and click it (for instance, in the sidebars for Finder or iTunes) to open or close a folder.  If anyone knows a keyboard shortcut for this, I'd really appreciate it--thanks!

  • Can't Download Itunes 11.0.1, failed to update, Itunes shortcut completely gone?

Hi, I'm running Windows 7 (64-Bit) and I recently tried updating my Itunes, only for it to fail more than once. The first time I tried, it got close but never came to completion so I closed it and started up Itunes again to put some CD's on. I imported the CD's, but every time it got to the last song on the CD, Itunes would freeze and I'd have to manually shut it down. I did this twice with that happening both times. Then today I went back again to try and update once more. It seemed as if everything was going fine, Quick Time completed its download and works fine, but I was left still waiting on Itunes. Two hours passed and it was still near the end but not complete. So, I shut it down yet again and my itunes shortcut was gone altogether. Then, I tried redownloading Itunes in its entirety from Apple, that failed within moments. Now there's no sight of Itunes or any way to access itunes whatsoever on my computer, looked at programs, files, searched, etc, and the shortcut(s) are still missing. Any idea what went wrong in the first place?

That suggests the file is being damaged during download. The first thing to try is a different browser
Failing that, router issues have been implicated, try restarting your router.
Otherwise the easiest thing is to get a friend to download iTunesSetup.exe for you and put it on a memory stick.

  • "?" Logo in place of iTunes shortcut logo means what?

After experiencing problems with ipod nano (3rd gen)..recieved replacement which after iTunes finally recognized froze-up/crashed after loading library onto at the "safe to disconnect" phase.
I should add that before this my iTunes shortcut logo showed as iTunes(2)..now in place of that is a question mark logo...does this maybe mean I have unknowingly combined 2 iTunes libraries into one and causing ipod to crash?
Please help..as you all know there is nothing more frustrating than to be without your ipod... Also should add that iTunes works properly playing music..
Really appreciate any help anyone can give me....

First of all thanks for the reply...
Right,Everything started going wrong a few months ago when I downloaded latest iTunes and it wiped clean my Library..all my music and ipod registration. I found itunes folder on my hard drive and imported by adding the folder as I would add an album. I ended up with every song twice or three times in my iTunes. This scrubbing of my iTunes may be the same as if I'd uninstalled it,like you mentioned.
    Very strange.
One way to correct multiple copies is with iTunes, in the Advanced menu it has a "Consolidate Library..."

It starts normally but you can't navigate the menues? or it freezes when trying to play anything?
If it is the first problem then you have to reset the whole iPod.
The second problem usually is caused by corrupted music files or files in a format that the iPod can't really play.
    CelticGlasgow wrote:
And yes,the "?" logo (it still has the iTunes(2) under it) still takes me to iTunes ,which still plays fine and has all my purchased music on it...
That's also strange, if Windows shows the question mark it usually means that the program is not there. Only by editing the shortcut manually you can end with an icon that is not there, so the question mark shows (usually the icon is inside the executable, but you can change that manually).
BTW, you can rename the shortcut (right button menu) and take out the "(2)". You can also change the icon, or at least make the shortcut search for it again inside the iTunes executable; open the Properties (right button click, last item on the menu) and use the respective button.

  • TS1967 my itunes shortcut stopped working

the itune shortcut stopped working, so i deleted it bec. that was the only option.
i resintalled the latest itunes & still- can't figure this out.
went into music folder, itunes is in there, but not a new player icon. i can't figure out how to launch this again w/o the shortcut icon.
i can see the library is there, so figure the songs aren't lost.
    help!

Let's try a repair install of iTunes first.
Restart the PC. If you're using Vista or 7, now head into your Uninstall a program control panel, select "iTunes" and then click "Repair". If you're using XP, head into your Add or Remove Programs control panel, select "iTunes", click "Change" and then click "Repair".
Can you launch your iTunes now?

  • 2 iTunes shortcut icons on screen

This may sound stupid but I downloaded 7.2 and now there are 2 shortcuts so im assuming 2 itunes libary. Should I delete the old one or the new one? what do I do?
    Thanks

A shortcut is just a shortcut -- another (and
quicker) way to get to the main program. Having two
shortcuts shouldn't mean you have two iTunes
    libraries.
ok cool so should i delete the new shortcut or the original shortcut?

  • Keyboard shortcuts to jump to un-read mail in various folders?

Most of my incoming mail is filtered into separate folders (mostly on an IMAP server). Are there any shortcuts to "jump to next unread message" that would automatically take me to unread messages in the relevant folders? Just would be easier than having to click around my list of mailboxes....

No, but you can set up a smart mailbox that displays unread messages only.

Is there a way that iTunes can act as a Radio Alarm Clock?
I have found the radio station I enjoy listening to in the iTunes Radio List. Is there anyway iTunes (and my Mac) can be set to come-on from Sleep mode and start playing that Radio Station at specific times of the day?
Any App or plug-in that does that?
    Many thanks
    Kevin

Turning your Mac into a clock radio.
    1.  In iTunes create a playlist that contains just the radio station you want to wake up to.
    2.  Export the playlist (as .m3u works well).  Get Info on your playlist file and look at the Open With entry to make sure it points to iTunes, VLC or some other app that will stream your station.
    3.  In iCal create an event entry at the time you want to wake up.
    4.  Right (or Control) click on your wakeup event and select Get Info.
    5.  For "alarm" select Open File.
    6.  Now under Open File there will be a place to add the file to open.  It will probably be some default entry (like iCal).  Click on it will allow you to select "other."  Then use the file dialog to select your playlist file.
Your Mac will wake you up at the appointed time.  You don't need to keep iCal running.  If you want to put you Mac to sleep for the night then there is one more thing you need to do.  Open System Preferences to Energy Saver and click on the Schedule button.  Check Start up or wake and set the wake up time to slightly before your iCal alarm time.

    Hi..
On your new iPhone tap Settings > Store.
Make sure Books is turned ON.
You shouldn't need to re purchase the book >  Downloading past purchases from the App Store, iBookstore, and iTunes Store

I am using a brand new iPad Air and a MacBook Pro with Retina and  on the Computer using Adobe Digitial Edition there is no possibility to jump forward/back using the arrows in the menu. It is not possible to jump to a certain page as well. The overall speed is incredible slow to switch between pages.

Exact same problem here - Win 7, ADE V3.0.  -  pages wont turn unless I click on the symbol at the top RHS of screen for Full/Normal size screen after Page Up/down or a click on the contents page.
Hopefully a bug or something, and not a 'feature' :-)
