Is there an jdev ARCS (appl. revision control system) extension available ?

Is there an ARCS ( application revision control system ) extension available for Jdeveloper ?
Googling took me to OAF developer guide which said -
"With the ARCS (Applications Revision Control System) Extension for JDeveloper, you can perform most
source control tasks without leaving JDeveloper. For additional information about enabling and using this tool,
see the E-Business Suite Application Development Services ARCS Extension for JDeveloper web page."
Can someone point me where to look for this page ? ( I am in Oracle Intranet, so it is accessible for me even if it is an internal page )

Apple remote control

I bought the apple remote control for my mac, but it's not working. I checked the systems preferences to enable the IR, but that option wasn't there. I read that some macs don't have infrared option which is needed to use the control. The remote was advertised to work with macs - am I missing something???

The 2012 and 2013 iMacs do not have an IR receiver.
The 2011 iMacs were the last iMacs to have a built in IR receiver and IR remote control.
If you own an iDevice, there are apps that work either over WiFi or Bluetooth to control your iMac.

Apple remote control and PB 17"

I have my laptop hooked up to my TV. I play quicktime and others video media though it to my TV. The Laptop is far from where i sit so to Fast Forward or pause or anything I have to get up and control it from the Laptop.
Is there a way to get the apple remote control to work with the PB 17" sonce it doesnt have a remote sensor like the new macbook pros do? Or any type of remote control or way to do this?
I want to be able to control the media from about 20 feet away (Lazy I know but in theis day and age... )

As for Front Row compatibility, I don't think that's there, because it would have to break the license from Mac OS X. Equinux makes a nice software like Front Row called MediaCentral:

Apple Remote controll doesn't work

I have read, that the Apple Remote Controll, that can be used for things like iPhoto & iTunes can also be used to controll Logic 8, starting and stopping playback ... .
Doesn't work at my system. Is there anything i have to setup? Have heared it should work by default.

In iTunes 8:
Go into your iTunes preferences and select the Devices tab. Make sure "Look for iPhone and iPod Touch Remotes" is selected. If it already is, try clicking "Forget All Remotes"
In iTunes 7:
Go into your iTunes preferences and select the Advanced tab. Select the General tab beneath it, and make sure "Look for iPhone and iPod Touch Remotes" is selected. If it already is, try clicking "Forget All Remotes"
You also want to be sure that both devices (the computer and the iPod) are connected to the same wireless network.

First let me say that I am ready to throw this POS in the lake. Is there a way that I can control iTunes with my iPhone without any internet connections? On my houseboat I have a wifi router and want to connect my phone to my computer to control my music which plays from my computer through my stereo. I can easily do it with my laptop without having to jump through any internet APPLE BS , but I dont want to have my laptop out on the deck. I just want to use the phone as a remote control.
Remote wont do it because it keeps saying Im not connected to the internet, even though is is connected to my computer. Same problem with JumiAmp.

Well. I can do this. But just because, on my Apple keyboard, there are the keys that do the job. There's a key to mute, and the keys to adjust low and high the sound. But keyboard shortcuts, I don't think exist. The aren't in keyboard shortcut in Keyboard panel, within System Preferences. The bottom line is that isn't a menu item in Finder for lower sound and higher sound. The only option would be an AppleScript that you save as an applet within Scripts menu (activated in Finder via Script Editor) and you invoke with a shortcut... Well, you can do it, if you open the script Set Output Volume in UI Elements Script folder within Scripts folder. Try it out!

Apple does not broadcast anything. The audio encoding options selected for content is controlled by the services the content comes from. Apple just distributes content they are provided with. I am not 100% sure but I believe the current ATV only supports 5.1 so it is pretty likely 7.1 could not be supported with out a new ATV device update, and they have not updated ATV in about four years now. Starting to wonder if they are going to. They used to own this market and now have pretty much lost it. You might check Amazon Fire. I think it might support 7.1. I finally gave up on waiting on Apple and bought one and am mostly happy with it.

How to automate revision control of Crystal Reports from SAP B1?

I am reviewing our revision controls and am trying to figure out a good way to maintain a history of the SAP B1 Crystal Reports. Is there a way to automatically export the Crystal Reports to an external file? I know that developers can save the file by hand when they do changes, but that seems rather error prone. I am looking for a way to automate the export so that I can then save it to our version control system.
Does anyone have any suggestions on how to automatically export the Crystal Reports?

Sorry to hear your MacBook Pro is not charging or powering on. Sometimes a System Management Controller reset can help with the following charging and power issues:
Power
The computer doesn't respond to the power button when pressed.
A portable Mac doesn't appear to respond properly when you close or open the lid.
The computer sleeps or shuts down unexpectedly.
The battery does not appear to be charging properly.
The MagSafe power adaptor LED doesn't appear to indicate the correct activity.
To reset the System Management Controller on your MacBook Pro (with a built-in battery) , you can follow these steps:
Shut down the computer.
Plug in the MagSafe power adapter to a power source, connecting it to the Mac if its not already connected.
On the built-in keyboard, press the (left side) Shift-Control-Option keys and the power button at the same time.
Release all the keys and the power button at the same time.
Press the power button to turn on the computer.
Note: The LED on the MagSafe power adapter may change states or temporarily turn off when you reset the SMC.

Jdev support with PVCS Version control system

Hi,
Is there any JDev plugin available for PVCS source control system.
We have to use PVCS version control system for our SOA composites. If there is no plugin available, what is the approach commonly used for these scenarios.

Which JDev version do you use?
AFAIK there is no extension for PVCS available for 11g (check http://www.oracle.com/ocom/groups/public/@otn/documents/webcontent/131167.xml).
Anyway if you have an external tool which lets you work with PVCS you can use it outside of jdev without a problem. Depending on the interface you might be able to do some kind of integration into jdev using the 'External Tools...' interface.

Deny mach-lookup com.apple.PowerManagement.control

I keep seeing this message in the Console log. In searching other discussions, I find it listed in the logs, but I don't see any explanation of whether this repesents a problem and if so how it can be fixed.
I have already gotten rid of some of the lookup error by restarting into Safe Boot and then restarting normally.

There is nothing wrong in terms of functionality. I did experience an intermittent loss of power on battery over the last week. I didn't make note of the exact time. I shouldn't say loss of power, but the machine would just go to sleep during use. I would click a key 10 seconds later and it would wake from sleep. Not sure if this would be related, but given: deny mach-lookup com.apple.PowerManagement.controle. it may be possible. Not sure. Besides that, no performance issues.

Apple TV Control Methods

Howdy all,
Is there any way to control the Apple TV via ethernet? I'm aware that the typical method of control is the IR port, but I'd love to stick on of these in my closet and control it via an automation program. I have the ability to write the necessary driver if its possible. Anyone know how I would go about finding what the commands are?
I know I can use some form of IR emitter to achieve this, but nothing is as good as a nice hardwired solution that never drops a command.

I'm aware that there's no documented method for controlling it via ethernet, but with devices I've seen that have an IR port and an ethernet port, you can replicate the IR commands via ethernet. I appreciate the responses and don't mean to be argumentative, but I'd rather not give up so easily. Are you both certain that it can't be done, or you certain that it hasn't been done to date and you aren't sure how.
If Apple wants this to become a fixture in the living room this is a pretty important feature. Centralized control schemes are plummeting in price, and are far more reliable than IR based control. Apple gains nothing by locking users into IR based control when the device functions over the internet. I would hesitate to say that the guys over at Crestron have already figured out how to control it via ethernet.

I saw the Apple volume control iconl!!!!!.....?

If you change the volume of a song, and quickly press the home button, for a flash, you'll see the Apple volume control icon (the same one on the iPhone and Macintosh). My question is, is there anyway to command that not by accident, but to actually control the volume using/seeing that icon? It is obviously programmed into the OS.

this also happens when you dock your iPod and use the apple remote to change the volume
