Is there an option to change theme to classical quasi-physical from flat in iOS7

Is there an option to change theme to classical quasi-physical from flat in iOS7?
I like the classical theme of quasi-physical.

No, there is no such option in iOS 7. Apple never allow you to make too big a change to the overall look and feel of their systems, they like a high degree of uniformity in how the devices look and operate. No reskinning options are ever offered. They always have worked like this, and I suspect they will continue to do so in the future too.
The new flatter design, with translucent layering and spare geometric icons is their UI direction for the next few years at least I think. They'll probably twiddle with the details over the next few point releases of iOS 7 (maybe offer a thicker system font as an option and so forth) but the overall design direction is clearly what you have now with iOS 7.
So I'm afraid it's highly unlikely they will implement your request for an option to return to the old skumorphic design. But it can't hurt to suggest it.

If you create a new Apple ID you won't have access to the media purchased with the Apple ID you are currently using.
Try here > Rescue email address and how to reset Apple ID security questions

You need to ask Apple to reset your security questions; ways of contacting them include phoning AppleCare and asking for the Account Security team, clicking here and picking a method for your country, and filling out and submitting this form.
They wouldn't be security questions if they could be bypassed without Apple verifying your identity.

Make an appointment with genius in Apple Store. You can replace it for a fee.
    Backup your iPhone before that.

If the email hasn't arrived after a few hours and isn't in a spam filter, you need to ask Apple to reset your security questions; this can be done by phoning AppleCare and asking for the Account Security team, or clicking here and picking a method, or if your country isn't listed in either article, filling out and submitting this form.

  • Why is there no option to change snooze in apple clock devices?

Why doesn't apple provide an option to change the snooze time on their devices?? I find this really stupid, it's one of the most obivious thing to add in an alarm clock. Yet that option isn't there! Why??!! Isn't iPhone meant to be the smartest phone in the world?? I'm starting to doubt that. Common apple!! Add an option to change snooze!!!!

I kind of had a feeling Apple wouldn't really have a direct line to themselves. They'd probably get too bombarded with questions. But I'd really love to know why they didn't add this option?? Why is it stuck at 9 mins snooze? And why 9 mins, what the ****?? That's a very odd snooze time. And would it be likely that they would add it in the near future? I don't like using 3rd party apps. They don't always work and they have to be running if you want the alarm to work.

  • Tracks disappear from my iPod when I change them to Media Kind: Podcast from Media Kind: Music

Hello. I'm running iTunes 11.0.1(12) in OSX 10.6.8. My iPod is a 160 Gb Classic (model A1238, I believe it's the newest generation, I got it about 6 or 7 months ago.) I manually manage my ipod, always.
I listen to one podcast in particular with hundreds and hundreds of episodes that I like to keep listed as MEDIA KIND: MUSIC in my itunes library, but MEDIA KIND: PODCAST on my ipod. I know this may seem odd to some people, but it is how I like to organize. So, I download the podcast through itunes, change it to music and then change it back to podcast after I load it to my ipod. When I switch the media kind back over on my ipod (music-to-podcast,) the files disappear, no longer visible on my ipod through itunes (in podcasts or music.) The only way I can find them is to do a manual search on the actual ipod (not ideal.) The ipod is also at capacity, so I need to be able to delete these files, as needed, in order to clear space. So, my question is, how do I find them again in itunes, or is there another way to delete them without restoring the ipod. I manage music a lot differently on my ipod than I do itunes, so restoring it and reorganizing everything is a tedious task, that I'd rather avoid.
I realize that the way I do things is unorthodox, but I fail to see why itunes can't manage something that seems as simple as switching the media kind back and forth. I had this problem with my old 160gb ipod classic and older versions of itunes, but I thought that this bug would be fixed by now with itunes 11.
    Thank you.

iTunes is looking for your music in the default directory.  Since everything was moved, re-direct it with the instructions I gave you:
In iTunes, click tools, and then preferences, then go to the advanced tab.
If you know where the music is on the E: drive, select it from the iTunes media folder location option.
It will reload all of the music to your iTunes - You can then select what music you want to add to your iPod.

  • Is there a way to change the message received in Outlook from Mavericks calender?

    Hi there
I found a post discussing this whereby a user was advised to edit the ITIP.stings file in the contents of the iCal.app to change the standard message that states "To accept or decline this invitation, click the link below" etc message that an Outlook user received when getting a calender invite from Mavericks Calender.
    The post is here:
Is there a way to change the standard email message?
Problem is, on Mavericks it does not have that string in that file - I've actually checked ALL the .strings files in that folder but to no avail. Did it move somewhere else on Mavericks?
On another note...this whole process is part in part moving from Entourage to Mac Mail and Calender due to Apple's (illogical) removal of the ability to sync with anything other than iCal / Mail / iCloud. So we manually moved everything across (thousands of mails and hundreds of folders) and hundreds and hundreds of calender events.
Now it syncing but herewith the problem...if I create an event and send it to someone, they receive it as the iCloud account email and not our work email (pop account with our own domain). Even then when I open it in Outlook, it has some horribly malformed address and when you accept, you get a delivery failure.
So we create a different Calender (On the Mac) and this sends 100% (except for the message in the body we'd like to change) but this does not sync with the Iphone or the iPad. Then we have to manually change the calender event to the iCloud calender and it brings up a message that its going to send the update to all the attendees...and you must choose between send via mail or send via server.
    What do I do!?

Anyone? Just need to know where I can change that message and also how I can set up the icloud calender to send invites using my work email address (as configured in Mail)?

  • Is there an option on the latest Ipod Classic 160GB to turn on the keypad lights?

I was wonder whether there's an option on the latest Ipod Classic 160GB to turn on the keypad lights?

Yep exactly as you mentioned. I thought I saw it once on youtube whom sombody was showcasing it.. perhaps this feature used to was around with any of the older/previous generations.
    Too bad..

  • Why is there no option to change UI to allow classic type button control? New control is too spread out and fundamentially useless.

Why was this ever changed? Why was it changed without asking/polling? Why is it so spread out? Why would it be purposely made, to make it difficult to browse the web? Why would you sabotage your own product?! I am NOT the only person out here asking these same questions! I am NOT a conformist, I do NOT like having something taken from a product I use, I do NOT like not having the option to have it as it was, I do NOT like to search for the basic buttons of navigating, I do NOT like having to move my mouse from one end of the screen to the other, just to stop a page quickly [which cannot happen as it is too darn far away now!!!!] This has been driving me absolutely bat-shit for quiet a while now! There was "add-ons" to restore BASIC FUNCTION to a "ADVANCED" browser!!!! Sometimes upgrades are really downgrades.
QUESTION OF THE DECADE: "Where did my buttons go, and WHY DID YOU TAKE THEM?!"
For aesthetics? Screw that, give me FUNCTIONALITY!

  • 'Fuzzy' desktop icons: is there a way to change them en masse?

I apologize if this has been asked before, but after searching the discussions I couldn't find a thing similar to this (non-critical but irritating) issue.
I have had a Mac for some time, since Classic OS days. I've noticed that some of the older files I have still have what can best be described as old-style icons.
I thought the best way to explain what I meant was to include a screen shot below. As you can see, the desktop icon for Millais' Ophelia is pixellated beyond recognition. Changing the files (via "Show View Options") to "Show Icon Preview" makes no difference. Looking at the file via Get Info shows that the file itself is AOK, that the Preview looks fine.
This is not limited to GIFs... JPGs, PSDs, TIFs are all similarly affected.
I was wondering if anyone knew of a quick and dirty way to strip or scrub files of their existing desktop icons and allow it to be rebuilt with the lovely OS X desktop icon... short of opening each file, saving it, and closing it again (which is a problem for JPGs and the inherent lossy-ness).
    Thank you in advance!
    sandra

The problem is that the old files already have a custom icon, albeit a very old very small custom icon (they are 32x32 pixels, versus the "normal" 128x128 icons, or the now possible 512x512). When a custom icon is present, that is what Finder will display. If NO custom icon is present Finder will, if told to do so in View options, draw a lovely icon. Indeed, in CoverFlow view it will draw 512 icons.
One way to achieve this happy state is to do GetInfo on a file, select the wee little icon at the top (a nearly invisible blue halo will surround it), and then do Cut from the Edit menu or with Command-x. This will remove the old custom icon without changing the file in any other way, leaving your jpegs in exactly the same state they were in.
Doing this for a whole buncha files is obviously tedious. I suspect you get an Applescript or Automator action which would batch process a folder, but I'm not much of a scripter. People who are scripters are often very helpful, posting a cry for help in either forum might get you something to do the job:
    http://discussions.apple.com/forum.jspa?forumID=724 The Applescripters are here
http://discussions.apple.com/forum.jspa?forumID=1261 The Leopard Automators are here
There is a little program called CocoThumbX you can download, then drop files in batches and check the box to Remove Thumbnail, and it will do so. It can also create new custom thumbnails, at 128x128 pixels.

  • My ipad wont let me buy any thing i have about 26 dollars and it says i need to confirm my account with security questions that i for got is there a way to change them?

i have 26 dollars and want to buy an app for .99 it says i need to answer security questions but i for got the answers am i able to reset those questions or i can't

If you have a rescue email address (which is not the same thing as an alternate email address) set up on your account then the steps half-way down this page give you a reset link on your account : http://support.apple.com/kb/HT5312
If you don't have a rescue email address (you won't be able to add one until you can answer 2 of your questions) then you will need to contact iTunes Support / Apple to get the questions reset.
Contacting Apple about account security : http://support.apple.com/kb/HT5699
When they've been reset (and if you don't already have a rescue email address) you can then use the steps half-way down the HT5312 link above to add a rescue email address for potential future use
