Is there an photo editing app, or process that automatically lets me scroll/select the next picture in the album?

I shoot a lot of sports photos which means a lot of pictures look very similar. Right now, when I use the editing app I have i tmakes me reoprn the album each time I want to choose the next picture to edit or reject.  The album always opens from the beginning making it hard to determine wher I am in the editing process when I took 500+ pictures.  It would just be nice to be more portable with my editing using the ipad rather than stuck to my computer in the office.  this is using the Snapseed app.

You can sync photos from your computer via iTunes, and each folder that you sync will get its own album : syncing photos. You will need to sync all the photos that you want on the iPad together in one go - synced photos can't be deleted directly on the iPad, instead they are deleted by not including them in the next sync.
In terms of albums that you create directly on the iPad no, effectively you are just creating pointers to the photos in those new albums, so if you delete the original photo you will therefore also be deleting all pointers to it.
You could consider a third-party photo management app instead e.g. Photo Manager Pro

  • Is there a video editing app for ipad that will allow the adjustment of the speed of a clip?

I'm trying to speed up/slow down clips in a project on iPad, which, I have found, iMovie does not allow you to do. Is there another app that will allow me to do so?

You can't do anything in the background of iOS. Apps are still one at a time (with a few exceptions like Music), and suspend when the app is closed. It's also against the App Store guidelines to sell apps that would allow such actions.
Though, maybe you could get your Voice Memos saved to MP3's, which can play in the background of other apps.

  • Photo editing apps

Can someone tell me if there are some proper photo editing apps for the iPad yet?
I'm not talking about the "toy-like" apps you can also get for iPhone and iPod, but something more serious like PS Elements. Performance wise the iPad should be able to run such an app, it's got enough processing power.

It isn't LR or PS but I thin Photogene seems to be pretty decent. Seems similar to iPhoto which is about all I need on the road on a non photo related trip. I am having one problem emailing the shots that I just posted about but that isn't a show stopper.

  • Can't find photo library but I can see them in photo editing apps???

When I go to my photo app on my ipad I can see some photos but not all of them. When I tried to open one of the photo editing apps I have all of my pictures are there. Why can't I see them in the other photo app where they use to be. To my knowledge nothing has been changed on the ipad, I just noticed it one day. Thank you!!

you do not say which photo app you can only see some of them in.
if you are looking "Photos" with the rainbow flower icon, then this is only your camera roll, not all of  your photos.  So any new photo you take will appear in your camera roll, and you can upload old photos into your camera roll, but it is not meant to have all your photos there.   Think of it like a roll of film in a camera, you use it for a while, then you take it out and put a new roll in.

  • Is there any photo editing on this new phone?

Is there any photo editing on this new phone beside just crop and rotating it? My droid did. I didn't have to have an app.

I don't think so, and I was surprised at that.  I found a basic photo editor (not interested in stickers, borders and special effects).  It's simply called "Photo Editor" by dev.macgyver and has a blue square camera icon.  It's pretty good, color adjustment, brightness and all the other stuff I used to be able to do plus a few more.  Takes a little to figure it all out, but it's a pretty good replacement.  You may of course find others but I like this one.  I just searched for "basic photo editor".

I use Snapseed, but it seems slower and shuts itself off at random since Google bought it. What photo editing app has anyone found especially good.
Do any apps have the spot adjustments like Snapseed?

  • Photo editing app most similar to iPhoto?

Looking for a great Photo editing app with option to rate pix and option for a quick fix button for pix, similar to iPhoto but for ipad? Cost doesn't matter

I use PS Express, but I'm not sure if it's close enough for you to iPhoto.

  • Photo editing app

Anyone know of a robust photo editing app for the ipad that offers brush control like those found in Aperture 3?
Most of the apps on the app store provide just one touch filters that apply to the whole image and I think that's too lacking.
I know filterstorm has some form of brush control but that app is really slow, and I don't want to pay $3 for photogene only to find out it only has simple one filters. Any alternatives you guys suggest?

Thanks for the suggestions guys. I understand the iPad isn't really a viable option for photo editing, but I think it'd be suitable for images that require minor touch ups, and brush controls using touch would be useful. Would be nice if I could lug my desktop 1700 miles away or use my wacom on my mbp in the plane w/o disturbing the passenger next to me. Unfortunately the iPad seems the most portable in these scenarios.

  • Photo editing app for iPad 2 ?

Hi can anyone tell me of a decent photo editing app for iPad2.
I use aperture 3 on my MacBook pro but would like to find one for the iPad for the times that I can't use the MacBook.
It doesn't have to be all singing all dancing software but also I don't want a very basic one either.
Perhaps someone knows of one ?
Any help will be gratefully received Regards Adrian

Photo gene looks a good app and also gives the option to upgrade to a pro version.
Have you tried the pro version or do you have the basic?
    Regards Adrian

  • Im developing a photo editing app and need...

I'm developing a photo editing app and need to know how to lay a filter on top of an image, like for instance:
Put this image (Alfa channel) :
On top of this one (No Alfa channel):
    Any help would be great!
Also if anyone could tell me how to make my app able to change contrast, saturation or brightness, that would be great.

iOS 5 might contain Core Image which will make this kind of thing easy.
