Is there and ETA on fixing the Creative Cloud issue?

Is there any hope in sight? When will I finally be able to access my creative cloud work in my adobe programs from my iPad? For that matter, when will the app work? since I synced it, it will not open.

I couldn't agree with you more. In my opinion, this forum is totally inadequate for dealing with this problem of the creative cloud causing the Photoshop touch app to crash. Adobe doesn't seem to have any trouble collecting my monthly fee for the creative cloud. It will soon be a month since this problem began for me. I find the lack of helpful information coming from Adobe to be extremely disappointing. We don't get any status report. How hard can it be to fix this problem?  Adobe's total silence on any progress in this matter is reprehensible.

    I mean... I know i could just take screen shots... via the iPad's protocol. However, that would defeat the purpose of creative cloud.
    The point of accessing the creative cloud clipboard, is so that I can create Time-Lapse .GIF's of my drawings, Using the "timeline" feature (undo)....which is amazing feature btw.
    Honestly the solution for me... would be to have an option to export a .GIF (animated), .tiff sequence, or video file (m4a mov). I would say export options would be 1. File Size & Type (Context...) 2. Detail, # of Slides (How long is your timeline, what do you want to show, what level of detail?) 3. Share (Behance, Creative Cloud Files, MMS, iMessage, etc... 4. Open in... Photoshop, Aftereffects etc...
    I think this would be great for..tutorials, multi-media, prototyping (wireframes, character design, etc). So, i'm not saying this should be a heavy set...focal point of the application, after all an animation app all itself would be nice. However, I think a feature like an "interactive timeline" would push users to be even more creative, by hacking, creating ghetto rigged *** backwards ways of prototyping that...actually might be more convenient. This is the story Adobe is trying to tell, the story of process, whats in your head... in the moment. Thats why behance is integrated, because process & feedback + exposure are essential to developing as a creative, so Adobe has put together a great platform...for its users. So, yeah...Adobe.. here's your chance to gain a greater insight into creative process, and integrate it directly into the creative cloud platform. I think it would be huge for Ink & Slide , Behance, and Student-Teacher / Designer- Company relationship.

    First, to answer your initial question - no there is no way to access the clipboard content outside of the apps at this time.
    The idea of exporting a timelapse is very interesting, and something we have been thinking about, but there are already some decent ways to do this. Check out this video of a drawing in Line created by Brian Yap Adobe Ink and Adobe Line Illustration - YouTube
    You can create this kind of video using several of the available apps that let you display your iPad screen on your computer using Airple. Some examples are Reflector http://www.airsquirrels.com/reflector/ and AirServer http://www.airserver.com/

  • I keep getting error code 204 and can't install the creative cloud. Need Help!?!

    I am currently trying to install the Creative Cloud but error: 204 keeps popping up stating 'There seems to be a problem accessing a critical file/directory during download...'

    So, padraig, five weeks later, have you had any luck seeing this resolved?
    Chat sessions with two different support techs, and Error 204 still prevents my CC update install.
    Meanwhile my boss is paying for CC while I continue to use CS4.
    I know I'll have to go back to Adobe support, but I'm hoping someone will find a solution and post it in the forum.

  • Problem Viewing and Opening Files from the Creative Cloud

    I am using Photoshop Touch v1.7.5 on an iPad4.
    When I try to open an existing file from the creative cloud not all of my files and folders are displayed. My list of folders appear alphabetically and stop at those starting with the letter L. Therefore I cannot open all of my files that have previously been uploaded to the cloud.
    Is this a bug or am I missing something here?
    If it's a bug, is Adobe working on it?
    When can we expect an update?

    I Had concerns about this problem back in November.
    It is apparently a bug. Since Adobe has no customer support for the Photoshop Touch app, those of us who primarily make use of the creative cloud and the app are paying for a service that at the moment doesn't completely work.
    It is very frustrating that customers paying for a creative clould account and using the photoshop touch app have only this forum as a source of customer support. As a result, you can't depend on receiving information from someone who is actually an Adobe employee.
    I hope that Adobe is working to fix this problem. However, we don't really know if or when that may happen because of the lack of information that is supplied.

    After purchasing CC Complete, it says to click here to download the app and it just takes me to a white page with the four loading squares that just keep circling.
    If necessary to know, I have a MacBook Pro and great internet connection.

  • Is there any plan to update the Creative Cloud EULA for single user, multiple computer use?

    I have a Mac and a PC at work and 5 machines at home (Macs and PCs) in different rooms. I would like to be able to use the software whenever creativity strikes. Otherwise I am forced to keep using Gimp and other solutions at home.

  • Wow, why does Creative Cloud suck so bad?   Why are there no FAQs in the Creative Cloud FAQ?

    I am new to Creative Cloud.   I found some PSD event poster templates on line and I would like to be able to download some of these templates to create event posters.   I have modest goals.  
    1) I found a link on the Adobe site for $9.99 monthly fee for photoshop + lightroom.   ok, seems reasonable to spend $10 for a month to see how it goes, I think
    2)  Once I get my CC account set up, there is no upgrade option or the $10 / month deal... only options are more expensive than $10 / month... but I can try it free for some time... ok I'll do that.  Hopefully, I will be able to do what I want to do with the free services?  
    3)  Install create cloud app on my computer
    4)  click on install photoshop...   after 20 minutes only 3% downloaded.   darn!   Looks like I am not going to be creating any flyers tonight!
    5)   Is there something wrong?   Maybe I have done something stupid (I mean besides signing up for CC)... lemme check the Creative Cloud FAQ.   Oh!   There are no questions in the Creative Cloud FAQ.   Excellent...

    I just want to say congrats!

    That's the page from which I started this troubled journey.  I clicked on "purchase"  and since I didn't have an account yet, it took me off to some other page to create an account, verify my email and all of that and then finally to a blank page... seemed like there was some delay from the time I created the account until the account became useable.   In the meantime I was continuously directed to a blank page every time I tried to log in.   After some time I was able to look at upgrade options, but the $10 offer was not one of my options.   Now, if I go back to the original page which had the $10 option and click on purchase, it seems like it is giving me the option to purchase.   The whole process seems very poorly designed and poorly executed.   Does the software work any better?
    In any case, what I am looking to do is download some of the cheap or low cost event poster templates on the internet and edit them to create my own event posters.    I am not sure which Adobe application I need to do this.

  • Is there anything similar to Director in the Creative Cloud?

    We are considering updating our current (wildly out of date) version of Director, but there are a number of other products in which we are interested that are part of the Creative Cloud. So, I was wondering if there was anything included in the Creative Cloud that is similar to Director, so we could just purchase just that subscription...? We are currently using Director to create Interfaces and launch videos/PDFs.

    Flash Pro is included with Creative Cloud so that might be one consideration.
    Also, if you install Premiere Pro CS6 it includes Encore CS6 as part of the installation for authoring DVD or Blu-ray content. Depending on what you're wanting to create, i.e. interactive content for a kiosk or something

  • Few Questions on the Creative Cloud

    I have read that the Creative Cloud Connection will be released within the next few weeks which is great. I have a few questions about file uploading and the Creative Cloud Connection program.
    I have a folder which I will upload. The contents of that folder will be updated periodically locally. I want to the files in that folder to stay up to date between my desktop and laptop. Will the Creative Cloud Connection program be able to do that?
    If a file is changed that is already in the cloud will the program recognize the change and keep the cloud up-to-date?
    I guess a little more information about exactly what the Creative Cloud Connection program will do would be nice.
    On the topic of storage will I be able to upgrade from the standard 20 gb of storage that is available when/if needed? And how much will that be?
    One other question:
    When will Lightroom 4 be available via CC and why is it not available since it has been released?

    Creative Cloud Connection will keep files between your desktop and the website in sync. You will be able to add, edit and delete files from either end and see the changes reflected in both.

  • How do I logout of the Creative Cloud?

    I've been trying to download the Photoshop Free Trial, however when the Creative Cloud application appears and asks me to verify my email it send the verification email to an old, inactive account that I can no longer access.
    Here is what the window looks like:
    I've read the reply to another similar question asked formerly on this website, however I can't find this specific window, and the gear icon on the window shown above has no log out button or anything similar to what was mentioned in the already answered question.
    I'm not sure if there are multiple versions of the Creative Cloud or not.  On my Adobe ID, it says that it's the "Creative Cloud Free membership", and I'm not sure if there is a paid version that's different or not.
    I'm terribly sorry if I'm using the wrong terms and I hope this makes sense.

  • How do I maximize the Creative Cloud window

    Is there a way to maximize the Creative Cloud window. I have Windows 7. It opens so small and I cant brows for market vector items etc one at a time in a window that small that is just not gonna happen. I found the market on the internet through a browser and it shows me as logged in to my account but it still says trial trial and i cant actually browse for any products.

    I think maybe it thinks I am using a little phone maybe?

    When I start the creative cloud, I get the information that no programs are installed and I can download PS6. But I have installed the latest versions of photoshop and lightroom working properly.
    My System is a windows 7 64Bit PC.
    I had to deinstall the creative cloud program because it didn´t react some days ago. Then I installed it again and now I have this wron behaviour.
    Does anybody know how to adapt the creative cloud program correctly?

    Make sure that you had not changed the language on Creative Cloud desktop
    Also try to perform below steps
    On Creative Cloud desktop top Right side click on  Gear icon and Quit Creative Cloud App
    Then Right click on Creative Cloud desktop shortcut and choose properties.
    Then Click on compatibility tab
    Under compatibility mode ""Make sure "Run this program in  compatibility  mode for " box is unchecked.
    If it is checked, uncheck it and click on Apply, Ok. Then launch Creative Cloud App and try.
