Is there another way to delete photos from ipad 2, other than sync. i want to delete one or two photos every now and then.

when sync, you lose all photos.. and have to start over. i am using picasa to get my photos.. i noticed when you take a pic from the ipad 2, you can delete
any photo you want.. i would think that it should be the same no matter how you put photos on the ipad... has any one found a solution to this..

You only lose photos when you sync, if you don't have the photos you want to keep on your iPad checked in Photos in iTunes. And no, the only pictures you can delete directly from iPad are those you took with iPad. All other pictures are managed through iTunes.

if you are not on ios 6, then all you can do is wait. if you have deleted the address from your contact list, then it will live on for a while in your 'recently used' addresses. as you use new addresses, those older ones fall down the list, and eventually fall off altogether (unless you use them again). Have patience, it will go away.

Every now and then I get about a half second clip of another song

Every now and then I get about a half second clip of another song at the end of a song. If you immediately go back and play the same again, you get the same little burp at the end. But if you play three or four songs and then go back, the little burp is not there. I did a restore on the ipod, and I am still getting the little burps. It only happens maybe once out of every 10 songs played.
Files are MP3's which play fine on the PC in WMP and itunes, and on Dell DJ15, Zune and Sansa MP3 players. Some of the MP3s were ripped from CD using MusicMatch, some recorded off old lps using Creative Go!, and some downloaded so I don't think it is an issue with the MP3s themselves. Since I use several different players, I don't want to maintain a separate AAC library just for the ipod.
Usually the burst is so short that you can't even tell who the artist was, but when I have recognized it was always something very close alphabetically - at the end of a Cream song I got a little Creed, at the end of a Bad Company song I got a little Bachman-Turner Overdrive, at the end of a Led Zeppelin track I got a little Linkin Park.

Also, I am trying to connect my Mini from the mini-Displayport to the Displayport of my Dell U2410 monitor. Open /Applications/Utilities/Console.
If necessary, choose View > Show Log List.
system.log is at the top of the FILES section.
Try searching it for hot words like DEBUG, FATAL, and aborted.

No, you can only buy content from your own country's store - to be able to buy form another store you need a valid billing address in that country and be in that country when buying from it. Hey, There are afew things you can try.
- Simply turn your phone off and back on again
- Hold down your home button and your lock button and let goes as soon as the screen goes black (Phone will power down) - Then turn on your phone and hey presto!
- Back up your iPhone to your PC, then restore it..
this ones last cause I think you may have tried it already..
- Close all open applications

Only the contents of the most recent sync remain on the iPad, so if you want to sync multiple folders then you need to sync them in one go - in which case the folders will need to be directly off the same parent folder (otherwise they can't all be selected). it seem to get an answer to my question, I must know the model of my iPad. My iPad is encased in a protective unit that Sampson couldn't break and one that I can't figure out how to remove. - and the Apple (so called) "support" site only gives pretty pictures for me to compare to my iPad. HT5449 In my iPad I can easily switch languages by hitting the world icon. I have it set up to switch betwee english and spanish. I can use both in one document. Is there any way to do this on the mAC other than go to system preferences?

When I am dictating on my ipad, I can switch back and forth between languages by clicking the world icon. On the MAC it seems as though I have to go to system preferences and switch language there. That is a little cumbersome, Is there a way of switching on the MAC?

I use the 'notes' field in iCal but it is not visible in any view other than opening each event individually. Is there any way to make this field visible in the Day or Week view?

Thanks, this is definitely better than clicking events one by one. I just don't understand why Apple doesn't display it in the events in the day or week view the same way they show the Location field. Interestingly, on the iPad "Day" view, the Notes field is diplayed in the panels on the left side of the screen (although not on the right side).
