I draw with TurboCAD and can save in many different CAD-formats.
TurboCAD is the best selling CAD-Software in USA, and have got the best reputation, but it still do not save as u3d.
Is there any CAD-software which save as u3d, without losing the materials, lights, layers and animations?

You can remove the assembly tree by doing a roundtrip in 3D Toolkit, here's how:
- start Acrobat 3D
- drag & drop a CAD file
- click on 3D Annot to activate
- right-click on 3D
- select 'Edit in 3D Toolkit'
- 3D Toolkit launches
- click in 'Scene Tree' panel
- right-click on top assembly name
- select 'Tools->Collapse Hierarchy'
- select 'File->Save'
- select 'File->Exit'

I want to stylise a finder window on a CD-ROM... that is, when a CD data disc I've created is inserted into the Mac and double-clicked, the finder window has the layout and background I've chosen. Is there any Apple software which will do this?

I've created a CD-ROM which essentially has a website on it.
I've added an autorun for PC users (assuming those guys still exist) which launches "index.html". So no worries there.
For Mac users, as autolaunch isn't an option (correct me if I'm wrong?), I want to control the look and layout of the Finder window which opens when the disc is inserted and the CD icon is double-clicked. What's the best Apple software to use to do this?

Is there any way to delete calendars by years without deleting the entire calendar?

I have too many years in my iCal application. Is there any way I can have it just show the past 5 years? Or can I delete years before 2008, for example? I have made a backup of my iCal file so I'm ready for that great solution from the community!
I see other posts in the community about deleting data but they are from 2005 and 2007 and don't apply to Lion OS and this newest version of iCal - or at least I can't find the features they're referring to to help delete old data.

In iCal's calendar list make sure only the calendars you want to delete from are checked.
In iCal's search field put a single quote ('). The search result showing all events will appear.
Make sure the search results are sorted by date.
Click the first event you want deleted.
Scroll down and Shift-Click the last one.
Press the delete button.
I don't know whty the single quote is needed oin the search.

Power button on my 4s is broken. Is there any way to power the phone off besides the power button / slider shut down combination?

Assistive Touch, tap Settings App > General > Accessibiltiy > Assistive Touch > ON > tap new white screen button > Device > Lock Screen. If you touch and hold Lock Screen you will get the "slide to power off". This will turn OFF iphone. To turn iPhone ON, connect with USB cable to power, charger or USB of computer.

Can no longer download itunes music. Says all content will be lost. No longer on original computer. Is there any way I can download from itunes without losing content.

I can no longer download from itunes on ipod. It is not original computer and new computer message from itunes is I will lose all content on ipod if I continue to download. Is there anyway around this? Also have not updated ipod, is that important.

You can transfer you iTunes purchases to your new computer by:
iTunes Store: Transferring purchases from your iPhone, iPad, or iPod to a computer
You can only sync to one computer/iTunes library. You can manage music amond different computers by:
Using iPhone, iPad, or iPod with multiple computers
If you wnat to make the new computer your syncing computer you must restore the iPod.
- See if you can make a backup of the iPod on the new computer by right clicking on the iPod in iTunes and select backup. If successsful, restore the iPod from that backup after tansfering your iTunes purchases to the new computer.
- If you can't make a backup copy/move the backup file from the old computer, That file is located:
Mac: ~/Library/Application Support/MobileSync/Backup/
Windows XP: \Documents and Settings\(username)\Application Data\Apple Computer\MobileSync\Backup\
Windows Vista and Windows 7: \Users\(username)\AppData\Roaming\Apple Computer\MobileSync\Backup\
You may have to turn off hide hidden files.
If you do not have the backup file you have to restore the iPod to factory defaults/new iPod and sync your stuff to the iPod. You will loss all your app data.

There is no way to go back from an XFA form to an Acroform even with Acrobat Pro, still less with Acrobat. You either need to remake the form, or change your plans to use a third party viewer - Adobe have an excellent range of programs they would like you to use!

Jailbroken phones often cannot be fixed. Apple released a warning about this years ago:

The serial number will do nothing to help you find it.
If you failed to set up find my ipod, then there is no way to track it.

I thought that is what the big deal was that people did not know until they opened the box and started using the iPhone 5, that it not only worked with one carrier but several carriers. I did not say it will work with any carrier at one time. I was trying to find out the reason for this and why people were so surprised that the iPhone 5 had this function and the reason for it. As stated in my post, is it there so that after your contract is up and you want to go to another carrier you do not have to purchase a new iPhone, you cna purchase a SIM card that works with your new carrier.

As far as the iPhone 5 having issues, I have heard that there were more than usual with the first couple of manufactured batches that were shipped. For example the Map App by Apple, the scratches on the backside of hundreds of iPhones, etc. I am hoping these will get to be less and less, but with the recent riot at the one plant in China where the iPhone 5 is assembled is supposed to increase the waiting time.
